In this paper a global existence and uniqueness theorem for the Cauchy problem related to the class of hyperbolic operators with double characteristics \(P=D^2_{t} - D^2_{x_1} - (t+ \lambda - \alpha (x_1))^2 D^2_{x_2},\) depending on the parameter \(\lambda \) in the half-space \(\Omega = \mathbb {R}^2 \times ]0, + \infty [\) is proved. In the first part of the paper, a priori estimates in Sobolev spaces \(W^{r,2}\), with \(r\) negative, have been established. Then, the regularity is studied by using these spaces and by constructing a Green’s function in the half-plane for the operator of the waves.  相似文献

It is well known that a dynamic oligopolistic market equilibrium problem can be studied as an evolutionary variational inequality and this problem is approached as a problem of profit optimization for the firms. On the contrary, in this article, with the help of an inverse variational formulation, the behavior of control policies for an oligopolistic market equilibrium problem, whose aim is to regulate the exportation through the adjustment of taxes on the firms, is studied. This is considered as a policymaker optimization problem. More precisely, a definition of equilibrium for the firms by using the Lagrange multipliers is provided together to the optimal regulatory tax definition. Moreover an existence result is given and, at last, a numerical example is analyzed.  相似文献

We study the performance of Godunov mixed methods, which combine a mixed-hybrid finite element solver and a Godunov-like shock-capturing solver, for the numerical treatment of the advection–dispersion equation with strong anisotropic tensor coefficients. It turns out that a mesh locking phenomenon may cause ill-conditioning and reduce the accuracy of the numerical approximation especially on coarse meshes. This problem may be partially alleviated by substituting the mixed-hybrid finite element solver used in the discretization of the dispersive (diffusive) term with a linear Galerkin finite element solver, which does not display such a strong ill conditioning. To illustrate the different mechanisms that come into play, we investigate the spectral properties of such numerical discretizations when applied to a strongly anisotropic diffusive term on a small regular mesh. A thorough comparison of the stiffness matrix eigenvalues reveals that the accuracy loss of the Godunov mixed method is a structural feature of the mixed-hybrid method. In fact, the varied response of the two methods is due to the different way the smallest and largest eigenvalues of the dispersion (diffusion) tensor influence the diagonal and off-diagonal terms of the final stiffness matrix. One and two dimensional test cases support our findings.  相似文献

We derive the analog of the large N Gross‐Taylor holomorphic string expansion for the refinement of q‐deformed Yang‐Mills theory on a compact oriented Riemann surface. The derivation combines Schur‐Weyl duality for quantum groups with the Etingof‐Kirillov theory of generalized quantum characters which are related to Macdonald polynomials. In the unrefined limit we reproduce the chiral expansion of q‐deformed Yang‐Mills theory derived by de Haro, Ramgoolam and Torrielli. In the classical limit , the expansion defines a new β‐deformation of Hurwitz theory wherein the refined partition function is a generating function for certain parameterized Euler characters, which reduce in the unrefined limit to the orbifold Euler characteristics of Hurwitz spaces of holomorphic maps. We discuss the geometrical meaning of our expansions in relation to quantum spectral curves and β‐ensembles of matrix models arising in refined topological string theory.  相似文献

A novel synthetic approach to the synthesis of 3-substituted isoindoles through nucleophilic substitution of 3-halo derivatives by charged carbon, and neutral nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur nucleophiles, assisted by a 1-acyl group, is reported. Aryl-thio-isoindoles, obtained through a direct nucleophilic substitution with sulfur nucleophiles, showed cytotoxic activity, with GI50 values from micromolar to sub-micromolar concentrations, against the total number of cell lines investigated.  相似文献

Background

Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) is a neurotrophin which plays survival- and growth-promoting activity in neuronal cells and it is involved in cellular plasticity mechanisms as it controls activity dependent synaptic transmission. A functional polymorphism (Val66Met) in the pro-region of BDNF, which affects the intracellular trafficking of proBDNF has been associated with memory and cognitive deficits as well as to an increased susceptibility for several psychiatric disorders especially those with a neurodevelopmental origin. To date, no study has evaluated the influence of the Val66Met polymorphism on BDNF levels in a peripheral system that may reflect fetal neurodevelopment. Therefore we investigated in amniotic fluids (AF) obtained from 139 healthy women during 15-17 week of pregnancy, BDNF protein levels in correlation with the Val66Met polymorphism.

Results

Interestingly we found a significant BDNF protein levels reduction in 55 Met carriers (Val/Met and Met/Met) (p = 0.002) as compared to 84 non carriers (Val/Val), and no effect of fetus gender, maternal age or gestation week on BDNF levels has been observed.

Conclusion

These results, although explorative, indicate that during fetal life the Val66Met genotype might influences BDNF protein levels in AF supporting the involvement of this polymorphism in behavioral and functional brain individual differences in the adulthood.  相似文献

The crystal structures of clathrate forms of syndiotactic poly(m-methylstyrene) containing guest molecules having different steric hindrance (CS2, benzene and orto-dichlorobenzene) are presented. The structures are all characterized by polymer chains in s (2/1)2 helical conformation and guest molecules packed in an orthorhombic unit cell according to the space group Pcaa. All the presented clathrates belongs to β class indipendently from the dimensions of the guest molecule. In this aspect they differ both from clathrate forms of syndiotactic polystyrene, all belonging to α class, and from clathrate forms of syndiotactic poly(p-methylstyrene) that belong to α or β class according to the steric hindrance of the guest molecule.  相似文献
