To realize clinical application of antibacterial photodynamic therapy (aPDT), one of the most arduous challenges is how to render aPDT agents high selectivity against bacterial pathogens. In light of the fact that amino group-containing lipids are rich on the outer surfaces of Gram-positive bacteria, we herein constructed an alkynyl-dangling ruthenium(II) polypyridine complex (Ru2) to preferentially label Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) over mammalian cells via the amino-yne bio-orthogonal click reaction. Thanks to the strong singlet oxygen generation ability, Ru2 could photo-inactivate S. aureus and MRSA effectively and specifically. Phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) molecules also exist in mammalian cells but are not accessible for Ru2, leading to its poor binding/uptake and negligible cytotoxicity in the dark and upon irradiation towards mammalian cells as well as low hemolysis, all favorable for aPDT application.  相似文献

A drug (5-FU) was employed to treat the gastric carcinoma cells and induce apoptosis of the cancer cells. Raman spectra obtained from single gastric carcinoma cells and the induced apoptotic cells through scan-excitation mode were used to analyze the effectiveness of the treatment. The major difference of the apoptotic cells from the cancer cells are the reduction in intensities of vibration bands generated by cellular lipids, proteins and nucleic acids. In particular, large intensity reduction in nucleic vibrations at 782, 1092, 1320, 1340, and 1578 cm−1 was observed upon apoptosis of the gastric carcinoma cells. Up to 45% reduction in the magnitude of the 782 cm−1 peak in Raman spectra of the apoptotic cells was observed, which suggests the breakdown of phosphodiester bonds and DNA bases. We showed that the principal components analysis (PCA), a multivariate statistical tool, can be used to distinguish single apoptotic cells and gastric carcinoma cells based on their Raman spectra.  相似文献

High-quality and stable PS@TiO(2) core-shell microsphere colloidal crystals were prepared by electrostatic colloid stabilization combined with two-substrate vertical deposition method. The polyelectrolyte stabilized colloids self-assembled into face-centered cubic arrays with the (111) face perpendicular to the substrate. These colloidal crystals are gifted with high mechanical stability toward the flow of solution. Structure-property correlations were made using scanning electron microscopy and UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy. Optical spectra showed the presence of an L-stopband peak in the photonic band structure. Besides, these PS@TiO(2) colloidal crystals can be used as templates to fabricate the nonspherical macro-porous materials, and complete band gaps can be more easily obtained from such structure than from their spherical counterparts due to their lower symmetries. This work will hold the promise of enhanced photonic band gap materials.  相似文献

非致冷红外焦平面阵列(IRFPA)固有的非均匀性严重制约了系统成像质量,其输出动态范围大和监视器显示输出动态范围小也构成了矛盾。为解决这些问题,采用了复杂可编程逻辑器件(CPLD)设计红外焦平面阵列输出驱动和视频编码芯片的显示时序,以高速低功耗数字信号处理器(DSP)为核心,实现了嵌入式红外图像实时采集与压缩校正硬件系统。提出了一种结合两点校正的灰度直方图统计阈值分段线性压缩变换算法,并进行了实验。结果表明,系统可以实时的对红外图像进行采集和压缩校正,处理后图像的非均匀性得到很好的校正,背景被抑制的同时目标和细节得到了增强。该方案简单可靠,电路功耗较低,可为小型化红外热像仪的研制提供参考。  相似文献

This paper presents a fusion method for infrared–visible image and infrared-polarization image based on multi-scale center-surround top-hat transform which can effectively extract the feature information and detail information of source images. Firstly, the multi-scale bright (dark) feature regions of source images at different scale levels are respectively extracted by multi-scale center-surround top-hat transform. Secondly, the bright (dark) feature regions at different scale levels are refined for eliminating the redundancies by spatial scale. Thirdly, the refined bright (dark) feature regions from different scales are combined into the fused bright (dark) feature regions through adding. Then, a base image is calculated by performing dilation and erosion on the source images with the largest scale outer structure element. Finally, the fusion image is obtained by importing the fused bright and dark features into the base image with a reasonable strategy. Experimental results indicate that the proposed fusion method can obtain state-of-the-art performance in both aspects of objective assessment and subjective visual quality.  相似文献

For waterborne polyurethanes (PUs), balancing robust mechanical performances and excellent self-healing ability is a great challenge. Here, we show that this goal can be achieved by a rational tuning of the PU chemistry. In particular, we synthesized an anionic self-healing waterborne PU using acetone process, in which 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid (DMPA) serves as inner emulsifier, thermally dynamic Diels-Alder bonds act as healing motifs and hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer is the crosslinker. The mechanical performance can be tuned by increasing DMPA concentration due to the gradually increased hard segment contents and ionic interactions. The tensile stress and elongation at break of films containing 5.6 wt% of DMPA are 24.9 MPa and 911.9%, respectively. Moreover, dynamic reversible Diels-Alder bonds located in main chains and cross-linking points ensure excellent self-repairing capability. Upon mechanical damage, the tensile stress can be restored to 95% of its initial value. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy also points out an outstanding barrier ability and excellent corrosion protection performance of the coatings, which can be recovered even after serious damages.  相似文献

Rapid absorption of wound exudate and prevention of wound infection are prerequisites for wound dressing to accelerate wound healing. In this study, a novel kind of promising wound dressing is developed by incorporating polyhexamethylene guanidine (PHMG)‐modified graphene oxide (mGO) into the poly(vinyl alcohol)/chitosan (PVA/CS) matrix, conferring the dressing the required mechanical properties, higher water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), less swelling time, improved antibacterial activity, and more cell proliferation compared to the PVA/CS film crosslinked by genipin. In vivo experiments indicate that the PVA/CS/mGO composite film can accelerate wound healing via enhancement of the re‐epithelialization. PVA/CS/mGO composite film with 0.5 wt% mGO sheets displays the best wound healing properties, as manifested by the 50% higher antibacterial rate compared to GO and the wound healing rate of the mouse using this dressing is about 41% faster than the control group and 31% faster than the pure PVA/CS dressing. The underlying mechanism of the accelerated wound healing properties may be a result of the improved antibacterial ability to eradicate pathogenic bacteria on the wound area and maintain an appropriate moist aseptic wound healing environment to accelerate re‐epithelialization. These findings suggest that this novel composite PVA/CS/mGO film may have promising applications in wound dressing.  相似文献

通过对激光光镊拉曼光谱仪系统信噪比测量分析研究表明:在一定条件下,平均背景噪声随冷却温度降低而缓慢减小,在激发波长不变时对应的信噪比逐渐增加;曝光时间的延长使系统信噪比以不同比例线性增加;激光输入功率和系统信噪比成正比.这为单细胞拉曼光谱测量与分析提供了有力的实验依据.  相似文献
