We propose schemes to prepare atomic entangled states in a bi-mode cavity via stimulated Raman adiabatic passage (STIRAP) and fractional stimulated Raman adiabatic passage (f-STIRAP) techniques. Our scheme should be realizable in the near future because of the existence of all experimental ingredients. Our numerical simulation shows we can entangle the atoms with high fidelities by choosing proper laser pulses.  相似文献

We propose a directional coupler design based on coupled cavity waveguide in photonic crystals. The plane wave expansion is used to give the dispersion of the coupled cavity waveguides and two parallel such waveguides. The couple length is got from the dispersion curves. Based on the research of the dispersion, we present a directional coupler and the transmission property is given. This structure is potentially important for highly efficient directional coupler in integrate optical circuit.  相似文献

We investigate the repulsive electrostatic interactions between a DNA polyelectrolyte and the charged walls of a fluidic nanoslit. The scaling of the DNA coil size with the physical slit height revealed electrostatic depletion regions that reduced the effective slit height. These regions exceeded the Debye screening length of the buffer, λ(D)(buffer), and saturated at ≈ 50 nm when λ(D)(buffer) reached 10 nm. We explain these results by modeling a semiflexible charged rod near a charged wall and the electrostatic screening by the polyelectrolyte. These results demonstrate the surprisingly long range over which a nanofluidic device can exert field-effect control over confined molecules.  相似文献

We investigate the interplay between the strong correlation and the spin-orbit coupling in the Kane-Mele-Hubbard model and obtain the qualitative phase diagram via the variational cluster approach. We identify, through an increase of the Hubbard U, the transition from the topological band insulator to either the spin liquid phase or the easy-plane antiferromagnetic insulating phase, depending on the strength of the spin-orbit coupling. A nontrivial evolution of the bulk bands in the topological quantum phase transition is also demonstrated.  相似文献

We experimentally demonstrate cavity phase matching for the first time using a sheet optical parametric oscillator which is made of an x-cut KTiOPO(4) crystal sheet. This microcavity presents 220 kW peak power capability for near-frequency-degenerate parametric outputs with up to 23.8% slope efficiency. It also features unique spectral characteristics such as single-longitudinal-mode and narrow linewidth. These attractive properties predict broad applications of such a mini-device, such as terahertz generation, photonic integration, spectroscopy, and quantum information, etc.  相似文献

We present the first experimental observation of quantum fluctuation spectra in two coupled optical cavities with an injected squeezed vacuum light. The quadrature components of the reflected squeezed vacuum spectra are measured by phase-sensitive homodyne detector. The experimental results demonstrate coupled-resonator-induced transparency in the quantum regime, in which the electromagnetically-induced-transparency-like characteristic of the absorption and dispersion properties of the coupled optical cavities determines the line shape of the reflected quantum noise spectra.  相似文献

Optical properties of a two-dimensional quantum ring with pseudopotential in the presence of an external magnetic field and magnetic flux have been theoretically investigated. Our results show that both of the pseudopotential and magnetic field can affect the third non-linear susceptibility and oscillator strength. In addition, we found that the oscillator strength and the absolute value of the resonant peak of the linear, non-linear and total absorption coefficient demonstrates the Aharonov-Bohm oscillation with magnetic flux, moreover, changes in confinement potential can influence the Aharonov-Bohm oscillation in peak while the resonant peak value of the linear, non-linear and total refractive index changes decreases as magnetic flux increases.  相似文献

We propose a new two-mode squeezed coherent state representation |z1, z2g which is characteristic of the correlation between the squeezing and the displacement. Based on it and using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we obtain a generalized two-mode Fresnel operator (GTFO), which is an image of the mapping from (z1, z2) to in |z1, z2g representation. The matrix element of GTFO in the coordinate representation leads to a generalized two-dimensional Collins formula (Huygens-Fresnel integration transformation describing optical diffraction) in entangled form.  相似文献

 宽带脉冲产生器的谐振特性决定了产生电磁脉冲的频谱,分析了带耦合器的同轴1/4波长谐振器在负载为非完全匹配天线时,天线反射对谐振特性的影响。通过建立级联二端口微波网络分析模型,将非匹配负载的反射系数计入等效耦合器反射系数中,得到了输出脉冲及辐射场频谱与负载反射系数的关系式。数值模拟了包括谐振器、耦合器和天线在内的整个宽带脉冲辐射系统,得到的辐射场频谱与理论预期相符。由于负载反射的影响,在中心频率两侧产生了两个副峰,在高功率实验中也观察到了该现象。  相似文献

 提出了一种用于偏馈抛物柱面反射天线的功分喇叭。由于改善了口面上的电磁分布,该功分喇叭可以让馈源阵列的栅瓣电平抑制到-28 dB。用FEKO进行仿真发现,与传统用角锥喇叭阵列作为馈源的抛物柱面反射天线相比,使用功分喇叭直线阵列可以使空间功率合成天线的效率从68%提高到80%,同时天线的增益也能增加0.7 dB。  相似文献
