The molecular and crystal structure of tris(bistrimethylsilylamin)thallium was determined by means of single-crystal X-ray spectroscopy: in the space group P31c with a = 16.447(7), c = 8.456(7) Å; and Dc = 1.149 g cm?3 two molecules are located in the unit cell. The compound is isomorphous to the analogues Fe[N(SiMe3)2]3 or Al[N(SiMe3)2]3, respectively, which show a propellar-twist of the Si2N-groups versus the plane of the metal atom and the three nitrogen-atoms: Tl(N)3/Si2N 49.1°; SiNSi 122.6°; NSiC 111.8°; CSiC 107.1°; TlN 2.089 Å;; SiN 1.738 Å;; SiC 1.889 Å;.  相似文献

The chemical composition of lipids from six human brains (60–73 years) is reported. The total lipids out of cortex, white matter, diencephalon and cerebellum, pons, and medulla oblongata have been isolated and the neutral lipids have been separated in cerebrosides, sphingomyelines, and lecithins. The highest amount of pure lipids is found in the white matter, the lowest in the cortex. The relation of neutral lipids to acid lipids as well as the amount of cholesterol are about equal for all regions. The white matter shows more cerebrosides and sphingomyelines than the cortex, the opposite being the case for lecithins. The differences are strongly significant. The fatty acids out of the different pure lipid fractions have been analysed as esters by gas chromatography. Stearic and lignoceric acid, and cerebronic and hydroxy nervonic acid respectively are main components of cerebrosides, with only little differences for the different brain regions. The fatty acids of sphingomyelines consist mainly of stearic and nervonic acid; in the white matter these two acids are present about in the same quantity, whereas stearic acid dominates in the cortex and the other sections. Lecithins contain above all palmitic and oleic acid. The amount of the latter in the white matter is higher than that of palmitic acid.  相似文献

cis-[PtCl2(NH3)(2-picoline)] (AMD473) is a sterically-hindered anticancer complex with a profile of chemical and biological activity that differs significantly from that of cisplatin. Adducts of AMD473 with neutral 9-ethylguanine (9-EtGH) and anionic (N1-deprotonated) 9-ethylguanine (9-EtG) as perchlorate and nitrate salts, and also a nitrate salt of the trans isomer (AMD443), were prepared and their structures determined by X-ray crystallography: cis-[Pt(NH3)(2-pic)(9-EtGH)2](ClO4)2 (1).2H(2)OMe(2)CO, cis-[Pt(NH3)(2-pic)(9-EtGH)2](NO3)2 (2).2H2O, cis-[Pt(NH3)(2-pic)(9-EtGH)(9-EtG)]NO3 (3),3.5 H2O, trans-[Pt(NH3)(2-pic)(9-EtGH)(9-EtG)]NO3 (4).8H2O. In all cases, platinum coordination is through N7 of neutral (1, 2) and anionic (3, 4) guanine. In each complex, the guanine bases are arranged in the head-to-tail conformation. In complex 1, there is an infinite array of six-molecule cycles, based on both hydrogen bonding and pi-pi stacking of the 2-picoline and guanine rings. Platinum(II) coordinated at N7 acidifies the N1 proton of neutral 9-ethylguanine (pKa = 9.57) to give pKa1 = 8.40 and pKa2 = 8.75 for complex 2, and pKa1 = 7.77 and pKa2 = 9.00 for complex 4. In complexes 3 and 4, three intermolecular hydrogen bonds are formed between neutral and deprotonated guanine ligands involving O6, N1 and N2 sites. Unusually, both of the platinated guanine bases of complexes 3 and 4 participate in this triple G triple bond G hydrogen bonding. This is the first report of X-ray crystal structures of nucleobase adducts of the promising anticancer drug AMD473.  相似文献

A miniaturised technique to analyse and detect heterocyclic aromatic amines (HAs) using micro solid-phase extraction (SPE) coupled on-line (in-capillary) to capillary electrophoresis (CE) separation with nanospray (nESI) mass spectrometry (MS) detection has been developed. HAs are mutagenic and carcinogenic compounds formed at low levels in protein-rich food during cooking. Due to the low concentrations of HAs and the high complexity of the matrix in which they exist, sensitive and selective analytical methods are required for quantification. SPE was performed on a packed bed of C18 particles inside the CE capillary, which minimised the dead volume. The on-line coupling of SPE, CE and nESI-MS reduced the time for extraction and identification to less than half an hour, which will allow for screening of several samples per day. The new technique provides short analysis time, low sample and solvent consumption, and HAs in standard solutions were easily detected at 12–17 fmol injections, and in spiked urine samples at 750–810 fmol injections.  相似文献

Whole cells ofTrigonopsis variabilis were immobilized by entrapment in Ca2+-alginate and used for the production of α-keto acids from the corresponding D-amino acids. The D-amino acid oxidase within the immobilized cells has a broad substrate specificity. Hydrogen peroxide formed in the enzymatic reaction was efficiently hydrolyzed by manganese oxide co-immobilized with the cells. The amino acid oxidase activity was assayed with a new method based on reversed-phase HPLC. Oxygen requirements, bead size, concentration of cells in the beads, flow rate, and other factors were investigated in a “ trickle-bed ” reactor.  相似文献

The Ru(II) organometallic antitumor complex [(eta(6)-biphenyl)RuCl(en)][PF(6)] (1) reacts slowly with the amino acid L-cysteine (L-CysH(2)) in aqueous solution at 310 K. Reactions were followed over periods of up to 48 h using HPLC, electronic absorption spectroscopy, LC-ESI-MS, and 1D or 2D (1)H and (15)N NMR spectroscopy. Reactions at a 1 mM/2 mM (Ru/L-CysH(2)) ratio were multiphasic in acidic solutions (pH 5.1) and appeared to involve aquation as the first step. Initially, 1:1 adducts involving substitution of Cl by S-bound or O-bound L-CysH(2), [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(S-L-CysH)(en)](+) (4a) and [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(O-L-CysH(2))(en)](2+) (4b) formed, followed by the cystine adduct [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(O-Cys(2)H(2))(en)](2+) (3), and two dinuclear complexes from which half or all of the chelated ethylenediamine had been displaced, [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(H(2)O)(microS,N-L-Cys)Ru(eta(6)-biphenyl)(en)](2+) (5) containing one bridging cysteine, and [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(O,N-L-Cys-S)(S-L-Cys-N)Ru(eta(6)-biphenyl)(H(2)O)] (6) containing two bridging cysteines. The unusual cluster species [(biphenyl)Ru](8) (7a) was also detected by MS and was more prevalent in reactions at higher L-CysH(2) concentrations. Complex 5 was the dominant product at pH 2-5, but overall, only ca. 50% of 1 reacted with L-CysH(2) in these conditions. The reaction between 1 and L-CysH(2) was suppressed in 50 mM triethylammonium acetate solution at pH > 5 or in 100 mM NaCl. Only 27% of complex 1 reacted with L-methionine (L-MetH) at an initial pH of 5.7 after 48 h at 310 K and gave rise to only one adduct [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(S-L-MetH)(en)](2+) (8).  相似文献

We report the supramolecular chemistry of several metal complexes of N-(4-pyridyl)benzamide (NPBA) with the general formula [Ma(NPBA)2AbSc], where M = Co2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, Mn2+, Cu2+, Ag+; A = NO3-, OAc-; S = MeOH, H2O; a = 0, 1, 2; b = 0, 1, 2, 4; and c = 0, 2. NPBA contains structural features that can engage in three modes of intermolecular interactions: (1) metal-ligand coordination, (2) hydrogen bonding, and (3) pi-pi stacking. NPBA forms one-dimensional (1-D) chains governed by hydrogen bonding, but when reacted with metal ions, it generates a wide variety of supramolecular scaffolds that control the arrangement of periodic nanostructures and form 1- (2-4), 2- (5), or 3-D (6-10) solid-state networks of hydrogen bonding and pi-pi stacking interactions in the crystal. Isostructural 7-9 exhibit a 2-D hydrogen bonding network that promotes topotaxial growth of single crystals of their isostructural family and generates crystal composites with two (11) and three (12) different components. Furthermore, 7-9 can also form crystalline solid solutions (M,M')(NPBA)2(NO3)2(MeOH)2 (M, M' = Co2+, Ni2+, or Zn2+, 13-16), where mixtures of Co2+, Ni2+, and Zn2+ share the same crystal lattice in different proportions to allow the formation of materials with modulated magnetic moments. Finally, we report the effects that multidimensional noncovalent networks exert on the magnetic moments between 2 and 300 K of 1-D (4), 2-D (5), and 3-D (7, 8, 10, and 13-16) paramagnetic networks.  相似文献

The gas-phase O-H bond dissociation enthalpy, BDE, in phenol provides an essential benchmark for calibrating the O-H BDEs of other phenols, data which aids our understanding of the reactivities of phenols, such as their relevant antioxidant activities. In a recent review, the O-H BDE for phenol was presented as 90 +/- 3 kcal mol(-1) (Acc. Chem. Res. 2003, 36, 255-263). Due to the large margin of error, such a parameter cannot be used for dynamic interpretations nor can it be used as an anchor point in the development of more advanced computational models. We have reevaluated the existing experimental gas-phase data (thermolyses and ion chemistry). The large errors and variations in thermodynamic parameters associated with the gas-phase ion chemistry methods produce inconsistent results, but the thermolytic data has afforded a value of 87.0 +/- 0.5 kcal mol(-1). Next, the effect of solvent has been carefully scrutinized in four liquid-phase methods for measuring the O-H BDE in phenol: photoacoustic calorimetry, one-electron potential measurements, an electrochemical cycle, and radical equilibrium electron paramagnetic resonance (REqEPR). The enthalpic effect due to solvation, by, e.g., water, could be rigorously accounted for by means of an empirical model and the difference in hydrogen bond interactions of the solvent with phenol and the phenoxyl radical. For the REqEPR method, a second correction is required since the calibration standard, the O-H BDE in 2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenol, had to be revised. From the gas-phase thermolysis data and three liquid-phase techniques (excluding the electrochemical cycle method), the present analysis yields a gas-phase BDE of 86.7 +/- 0.7 kcal mol(-1). The O-H BDE was also estimated by state-of-the-art computational approaches (G3, CBS-APNO, and CBS-QB3) providing a range from 86.4 to 87.7 kcal mol(-1). We therefore recommend that in the future, and until further refinement is possible, the gas-phase O-H BDE in phenol should be presented as 86.7 +/- 0.7 kcal mol(-1).  相似文献

The syntheses, structural characteristics, electrochemical behavior, ground-state spectra, photophysical properties, and transient absorption (TA) spectra in CH(3)CN solvent are reported for binuclear [(bpy)(2)Ru(bpy-E(T)(n)()E-bpy)Ru(bpy)(2)](4+) complexes, Ru(bpyT(n)bpy)Ru, where the Ru-based units are connected by alternating 3,4-dibutylthiophene (DBT')/thiophene (T') fragments linked via ethynyl groups (E) to bpy ligands at the 5-position (bpy is 2,2'-bipyridine). The ligand bpyT(3)bpy represents a module containing DBT'/T'/DBT' subunits, and bpyT(5)bpy accounts for a DBT'/T'/DBT'/T'/DBT' pattern. The syntheses and electrochemical and spectroscopic (emission and TA) properties in CH(2)Cl(2) solvent of the bpyT(n)()bpy ligands are likewise reported. The behavior of the Ru(bpyT(n)bpy)Ru dimers has been compared to that of the bpyT(n)bpy ligands and to that of a related mononuclear complex, [(bpy)(2)Ru(bpy-E-DBT')](2+), Ru(bpyDBT'). For the dimeric complexes, the electrochemical results show that the first reduction step takes place at the bpy ligand(s) bearing an ethynylene group, the first oxidation step is thiophene-centered, and further oxidation involves the metal centers, which are only weakly interacting. The photophysical and TA results for the Ru(bpyT(n)bpy)Ru dimers account for the presence of low-lying oligothiophene-centered (3)pi,pi levels, while higher-lying metal-ligand charge transfer ((3)MLCT) levels are thermally accessible only for the case of Ru(bpyT(3)bpy)Ru; the possible role of charge separation (CS) levels (from oxidation at the thiophene bridge and reduction at one of the coordinated bpy's) is also discussed.  相似文献
