Different kinds of modifiers and coatings on the integrated platform of transversely heated graphite atomizer (THGA) have
been tested for the simultaneous determination of two group of elements: the first, the more volatile, formed by arsenic,
bismuth, lead, antimony and selenium; the second, the less volatile, formed by cobalt, chromium, cupper, iron and manganese
in milk by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. Different Rh-modifiers were studied, such as Rh-coated platforms
(Rh), carbide plus rhodium coated platforms (W-Rh, Zr-Rh), carbide-coated platforms (W and Zr) with co-injection of RhCl3, solutions and uncoated platforms with injection of solutions of Pd(NO3)2, Mg(NO3)2, and RhCl3. Milk samples were diluted 1:10 in 1.0% HNO3 and injected into the tube. The mass of modifier deposited and co-injected in the tube and the use of end capped tubes were
also evaluated in order to improve the electrothermal behavior of analytes. Integrated platform pretreated with W plus co-injection
RhCl3 for first group and pretreated with W-Rh for second group were elected. For 20 μL injected samples the analytical curves
in the 5.0–20.0 μg L−1 concentration range have good linear correlation coefficients (r > 0.998). Relative standard deviations (n = 12) are <6% and the calculated characteristic masses are between 5 pg and 62 pg.

Intramolecular C-H insertion using NHC-di-rhodium(II) complexes: the influence of axial coordination
In this work we show that the intramolecular C-H insertion of diazo-acetamides catalysed by di-rhodium(II) complexes can be highly influenced by the axial ligand on the di-rhodium(II) complex. Axially monocoordinated NHC-Rh2(OAc)4 complexes have a distinct reactivity from the parent Rh2(OAc)4 complex affording the cyclisation products in different rates and selectivities. The olive tree (Olea europaea L.) can be affected by Colletotrichum acutatum, causing a loss of yield and quality of the final products, whilst the incidence of this fungal infection depends on several factors, including cultivar susceptibility. Thus, the effect of C. acutatum infection in cultivars displaying different susceptibilities to this fungal disease (‘Galega Vulgar’ ‐ susceptible, ‘Cobrançosa’ ‐ moderately susceptible, ‘Picual’ ‐ tolerant) has been assessed through spectrophotometric methods and HPLC, while the FTIR spectra of the cuticles have been concomitantly registered, resorting to the ATR accessory. With the support of multivariate analysis, these spectra allowed to discriminate olives with distinct infection times, besides retrieving evidences concerning the different susceptibility of each cultivar, while these observations were reinforced by the spectrophotometric and chromatographic methods. Furthermore, the assessment of the phenolic profile evidenced individual compounds in the distinct cultivars, so as their variations in response to the fungal infection. 相似文献

A procedure for the determination of As, Cd, Cr, Ni, Pb, and V in phytotherapy medicines by inductively coupled plasma–tandem mass spectrometry is reported. The use of tandem mass spectrometry with oxygen into an octopole reaction system at various gas flow rates and the combination of on-mass and mass-shift modes was evaluated. Cadmium, Cr, Ni, and Pb were determined as free atomic ions while As and V were determined as the oxides AsO+ and VO+ in the same run. Samples were prepared by microwave-assisted digestion with dilute nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide. Two plant-certified reference materials (apple leaves and tomato leaves) were used to check the accuracy. For tandem mass spectrometry with 0.5?mL min?1 O2, recoveries in the 85–113% were typically obtained and no statistical differences were observed at the 95% confidence level (t-test) in comparison with the certified values. Using these conditions, the limits of detection for the method were 0.01, 0.0002, 0.008, 0.008, 0.003, and 0.002?µg g?1 for As, Cd, Cr, Ni, Pb, and V, respectively. The procedure was used for the analysis of four phytotherapic drugs and the determined concentrations were up to 0.168?µg g?1 As, 0.03?µg g?1 Cd, 0.82?µg g?1 Cr, 1.18?µg g?1 Ni, 0.52?µg g?1 Pb, and 2.4?µg g?1 V with average precision values of 8% as the relative standard deviation. Sugarcane bagasse is an agroindustrial residue generated in large amounts in Brazil. This biomass can be used for the production
of cellulases, aiming at their use in second-generation processes for bioethanol production. Therefore, this work reports
the ability of a fungal strain, Trichoderma harzianum IOC-4038, to produce cellulases on a novel material, xylan free and cellulose rich, generated from sugarcane bagasse, named
partially delignified cellulignin. The extract produced by T. harzianum under submerged conditions reached 745, 97, and 559 U L−1 of β-glucosidase, FPase, and endoglucanase activities, respectively. The partial characterization of this enzyme complex
indicated, using a dual analysis, that the optimal pH values for the biocatalysis ranged from 4.9 to 5.2 and optimal temperatures
were between 47 and 54 °C, depending on the activity studied. Thermal stability analyses revealed no significant decrease
in activity at 37 °C during 23 h of incubation. When compared to model strains, Aspergillus niger ATCC-16404 and Trichoderma reesei RutC30, T. harzianum fermentation was faster and its extract showed a better balanced enzyme complex, with adequate characteristics for its application
