Methyl 4-chloro-5-phenylisoxazole-3-carboxylate (MCPIC) has been synthesized, isolated in low temperature argon and xenon matrices, and studied by FTIR spectroscopy. The characterization of the low energy conformers of MCPIC was made by undertaking a systematic investigation of the DFT(B3LYP)/6-311++G(d,p) potential energy surface of the molecule. The theoretical calculations predicted the existence of three low energy conformers. Two of them (I and II) were observed experimentally in the cryogenic matrices. The third one (III) was found to be converted into conformer II during deposition of the matrices, a result that is in agreement with the predicted low III → II energy barrier (<0.3 kJ mol(-1)). In situ UV irradiation (λ > 235 nm) of matrix-isolated MCPIC yielded as final photoproduct the corresponding oxazole (methyl 4-chloro-5-phenyl-1,3-oxazole-2-carboxylate). Identification of the azirine and nitrile-ylide intermediates in the spectra of the irradiated matrices confirmed their mechanistic relevance in the isoxazole → oxazole photoisomerization.  相似文献

We present a case of one patient with respiratory stridor that was resolved by speech therapy. Paradoxical vocal fold movements were observed by flexible fiberoptic videolaryngoscopy in this patient during episodes of wheezing and dyspnea. Otherwise, normal vocal fold movement was observed in normal conditions of breathing (out of the crisis) and during phonation. Many different terms have been used to describe this entity in the literature, and it is crucial that clinicians recognize the subtle signs of functional stridor. Paradoxical vocal fold motion has to be considered as an important cause of respiratory disease. Its recognition and treatment are discussed in this report.  相似文献

Necessary optimality conditions are derived in the form of a weak maximum principle for optimal control problems with mixed state-control equality and inequality constraints. In contrast to previous work these conditions hold when the Jacobian of the active constraints, with respect to the unconstrained control variable, has full rank. A feature of these conditions is that they are stated in terms of a joint Clarke subdifferential. Furthermore the use of the joint subdifferential gives sufficiency for nonsmooth, normal, linear convex problems. The main point of interest is not only the full rank condition assumption but also the nature of the analysis employed in this paper. A key element is the removal of the constraints and application of Ekeland's variational principle.  相似文献

The aliphatic 2H-azirine, methyl 3-methyl-2H-azirine-2-carboxylate (MMAC), has been synthesized and its monomeric form investigated by IR spectroscopy in an argon matrix, at 10 K, as well as theoretically (DFT/B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)). Two low-energy conformers of MMAC (Ct and Cc) were found in the matrix, both exhibiting the cis conformation around the C-O bond but differing in the arrangement around the C-C(alpha) bond. The two conformers were photoreactive upon in situ broadband UV excitation (lambda > 235 nm), yielding nitrile ylide (P1) and ketene imine (P2) type products, which resulted from cleavage of the C-C or C-N bond, respectively. The kinetics of the reactions leading to the formation of P1 and P2 are of first order, with the processes being favored when the reactant is in the Cc conformation. Very interestingly, the C-N bond photocleavage, which is unusual for aliphatic 2H-azirines, was found to be preferred over the generally favored in 2H-azirines C-C bond breakage. This behavior is attributed to the presence in the molecule of the electron-withdrawing methoxycarbonyl substituent, which accelerates the intersystem crossing toward the T(1) triplet state and, in this way, favors the C-N bond cleavage. In addition to the primary photoprocesses leading to formation of P1 and P2, secondary photoprocesses leading to the decarboxylation and decarbonylation of P2 have been also observed.  相似文献

The structure, preferred conformers, vibrational spectrum, and photochemical behavior of the novel azirine, methyl 2-chloro-3-methyl-2H-azirine-2-carboxylate (MCMAC) were investigated in low-temperature matrixes and in the neat solid amorphous state by infrared spectroscopy and quantum-chemical calculations. Two conformers of the compound were observed in argon, krypton, and xenon matrixes, in agreement with the DFT(B3LYP)/6-311++G(d,p) and MP2/6-311++G(d,p) theoretical calculations. Both conformers were found to exhibit the carboxylic ester group in the cis conformation, differing in the arrangement defined by the O=C-C-Cl dihedral angle (cis and trans, for Ct and Cc forms, respectively). The Ct conformer was found to be the most stable conformer in the gaseous phase as well as in both argon and krypton matrixes, whereas the more polar Cc conformer became the most stable form in the xenon matrix and in the neat solid amorphous phase. In situ broadband UV (lambda > 235 nm) excitation of matrix-isolated MCMAC led to azirine ring C-C and C-N bond cleavages, the latter process corresponding to the most efficient reaction channel. The photochemical cleavage of the C-N bond had never been previously observed in the case of aliphatic 2H-azirines. Two electron withdrawing substituents (methoxycarbonyl group and chlorine atom) are connected to the azirine ring in the novel MCMAC azirine. The simultaneous presence of these two groups accelerates intersystem crossing toward the triplet state where cleavage of the C-N bond takes place. The primary photoproducts resulting from the C-N and C-C ring-opening reactions were also found to undergo further photochemical decarbonylation or decarboxylation reactions.  相似文献

In the Sparse Point Representation (SPR) method the principle is to retain the function data indicated by significant interpolatory wavelet coefficients, which are defined as interpolation errors by means of an interpolating subdivision scheme. Typically, a SPR grid is coarse in smooth regions, and refined close to irregularities. Furthermore, the computation of partial derivatives of a function from the information of its SPR content is performed in two steps. The first one is a refinement procedure to extend the SPR by the inclusion of new interpolated point values in a security zone. Then, for points in the refined grid, such derivatives are approximated by uniform finite differences, using a step size proportional to each point local scale. If required neighboring stencils are not present in the grid, the corresponding missing point values are approximated from coarser scales using the interpolating subdivision scheme. Using the cubic interpolation subdivision scheme, we demonstrate that such adaptive finite differences can be formulated in terms of a collocation scheme based on the wavelet expansion associated to the SPR. For this purpose, we prove some results concerning the local behavior of such wavelet reconstruction operators, which stand for SPR grids having appropriate structures. This statement implies that the adaptive finite difference scheme and the one using the step size of the finest level produce the same result at SPR grid points. Consequently, in addition to the refinement strategy, our analysis indicates that some care must be taken concerning the grid structure, in order to keep the truncation error under a certain accuracy limit. Illustrating results are presented for 2D Maxwell’s equation numerical solutions.  相似文献

The water activities of manganese nitrate solutions were measured using a humidity sensor instrument up to almost the saturation molality at 298.15 K; the thermodynamic properties of the system were described by the Pitzer model and specific interaction theory (SIT). The evaluation of the ion interaction parameters for the Pitzer model and SIT were carried out using experimental freezing points and osmotic coefficients of manganese nitrate aqueous solutions, collected from the open literature, and the water activity data measured in this work. A set of Pitzer and SIT parameters were estimated using a temperature dependency, that enables us to cover wider temperature ranges, and consequently calculate system properties to higher molalities. Both approaches represent very satisfactorily, and with similar accuracy, the experimental data and the calculated manganese nitrate molal activity coefficients are comparable to those already published for analogous systems. Additionally, the Pitzer model was also able to calculate the ice curve and the solubility branch of manganese nitrate hexahydrate up to a salt solution 6.5 mol·kg?1.  相似文献

This paper presents the application of a new constitutive damage model for an epoxy matrix on micromechanical analyses of polymer composite materials. Different representative volume elements (RVEs) are developed with a random distribution of fibres. Upon application of periodic boundary conditions (PBCs) on the RVEs, different loading scenarios are applied and the mechanical response of the composite studied. Focus is given to the influence of the interface between fibre and matrix, as well as to the influence of the epoxy matrix, on the strength properties of the composite, damage initiation and propagation under different loading conditions.  相似文献
