The adsorption of Ar, H2, O2, N2 and CO on (H,Na)-Y zeolite (Si/Al = 2.9, H+/Na+ approximately 5) has been studied at variable-temperature (90-20 K) and sub-atmospheric pressure (0-40 mbar) by FTIR spectroscopy. Unprecedented filling conditions of the zeolite cavities were attained, which allowed the investigation of very weakly adsorbed species and of condensed, liquid-like or solid-like, phases. Two pressure regimes were singled out, characterized by: (i) specific interaction at low pressure of the probe molecules (P) with the internal Br?nsted and Lewis sites, and (ii) multilayer adsorption at higher pressure. In the case of CO the perturbation of the protonic sites located inside the sodalite cages was also observed. As the molecule is too large to penetrate the sodalite cage, the perturbation is thought to involve a proton jump tunneling mechanism. The adsorption energy for the (HF)OH...P (P = Ar, H2, O2, N2 and CO) specific interaction involving the high frequency Br?nsted acid sites exposed in the supercages was derived following the VTIR (variable temperature infrared spectroscopy) method described by E. In this paper we are concerned with a semilinear elliptic Dirichlet problem with jumping nonlinearity and, using a completely variational method, we show that the number of solutions may be arbitrarily large provided the number of jumped eigenvalues is large enough. In order to prove this fact, we show that for every positive integer k, when a suitable parameter is large enough, there exists a solution which presents k peaks. Under the assumptions we consider in this paper, new (unexpected) phenomena are observed in the study of this problem and new methods are required to construct the k-peaks solutions and describe their asymptotic behavior (weak limits of the rescaled solutions, localization of the concentration points of the peaks, asymptotic profile of the rescaled peaks, etc.). 相似文献

We consider nonlinear systems of first order partial differential equations admitting at least two one-parameter Lie groups of transformations with commuting infinitesimal operators. Under suitable conditions it is possible to introduce a variable transformation based on canonical variables which reduces the model in point to autonomous form. Remarkably, the transformed system may admit constant solutions to which there correspond non-constant solutions of the original model. The results are specialized to the case of first order quasilinear systems admitting either dilatation or spiral groups of transformations and a systematic procedure to characterize special exact solutions is given. Selective catalytic reduction of campholenic aldehyde to naturanol was investigated over Sn-and Fe-doped SiO2, and Fe2O3-supported Pd catalysts. On Pd/SiO2 and Pd-Sn/SiO2 only saturated campholenic aldehyde is formed. Addition of Fe increases the C=O hydrogenation rate producing the corresponding
unsaturated alcohol with a good selectivity. Also Fe2O3-supported catalysts were found to be more selective towards carbonyl hydrogenation. Addition of tin to Pd/Fe2O3 contributes to a further selectivity enhancement towards naturanol. 相似文献
