We reduce the variable-coefficient higher-order nonlinear Schrdinger equation (VCHNLSE) into the constantcoefficient (CC) one. Based on the reduction transformation and solutions of CCHNLSE, we obtain analytical soliton solutions embedded in the continuous wave background for the VCHNLSE. Then the excitation in advancement and sustainment of soliton arrays, and postponed disappearance and sustainment of the bright soliton embedded in the background are discussed in an exponential system.  相似文献

With the help of the similarity transformation connected the variable-coefficient (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with the standard nonlinear Schrödinger equation, we firstly obtain first-order and second-order rogue wave solutions. Then, we investigate the controllable behaviors of these rogue waves in the hyperbolic dispersion decreasing profile. Our results indicate that the integral relation between the accumulated time T and the real time t is the basis to realize the control and manipulation of propagation behaviors of rogue waves, such as sustainment and restraint. We can modulate the value T0 to achieve the sustained and restrained spatiotemporal rogue waves. Moreover, the controllability for position of sustainment and restraint for spatiotemporal rogue waves can also be realized by setting different values of X0.  相似文献

We consider the dynamics and formation of vortices from ring dark solitons in a two-dimensional Bose–Einstein condensate with the Rashba spin–orbit coupling based on the time-dependent coupled Gross–Pitaevskii equation. Compared with previous results, the system exhibits complex dynamical behaviors in the presence of the spin–orbit coupling. With the modulation of the spin–orbit coupling, not only the lifetime of ring dark solitons is greatly prolonged, but also their attenuation kinetics is significantly affected. For two shallow ring dark solitons with the equal strength of the spin–orbit coupling, the radius of ring dark solitons increases to a maximum value over time and then shrinks into a minimum value. Due to the effect of the snake instability, ring dark solitons split into a series of ring-like clusters of vortex pairs, which perform complex oscillations. This indicates that the system is strongly dependent on the presence of the spin–orbit coupling. Furthermore, the effect of different initial modulation depths on the dynamics of ring dark solitons is investigated.  相似文献

We discuss the dissipative nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) with a variable coefficient in blood vessels via a NLSE-based constructive method and obtain exact nonautonomous soliton solutions including bright soliton solutions on continuous wave (cw) and cnoidal wave (cnw) backgrounds. Moreover, the dynamical behaviors of these soliton solutions are studied. The impact of the cw background on the separating and interactive soliton behaviors is investigated. These behaviors of the soliton can be modulated by adjusting the amplitude of background wave. The propagation behaviors of solitons on the cnw background in different dispersion systems are also studied. These results are potentially useful for future experiments in various blood vessels.  相似文献

We obtain self-similar first-order and second-order rogue wave solutions for the (3+1)-dimensional inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Based on these solutions, we investigate the control and manipulation of rogue waves in the dispersion decreasing fibers with Logarithmic profile and Gaussian profile. Our results indicate that the propagation behaviors of rogue waves, such as fast excitation, sustainment and restraint, can be manipulated by modulating the relation between the maximum value of the effective propagation distance Zm and the parameter Z0 relating to the excited types of rogue wave. The comparison of the propagation behavior of rogue wave in the dispersion decreasing waveguides with Logarithmic profile, Gaussian profile and hyperbolic profile is also given.  相似文献

In this paper, exact and numerical solutions are calculated for discrete complex Ginzburg-Landau equation with initial condition by considering the modified Adomian decomposition method (mADM), which is an efficient method and does not need linearization, weak nonlinearity assumptions or perturbation theory. The numerical solutions are also compared with their corresponding analytical solutions. It is shown that a very good approximation is achieved with the analytical solutions. Finally, the modulational instability is investigated and the corresponding condition is given.  相似文献

基于推广的立方非线性Klein—Gordon方程对一般形式的变系数非线性Schrodinger方程进行研究,讨论了无啁啾情形的孤子解,发现了包括亮、暗孤子解和类孤子解在内的一些新的精确解.同时对基本孤子的色散控制方法进行了简单讨论.作为特例,常系数非线性Schrodinger方程和两类特殊的变系数非线性Schrodinger方程的结果和已知的形式一致.此外,还研究了一个周期增益或损耗的光纤系统,得到了有意义的结果.  相似文献

By making use of the generalized sine-Gordon equation expansion method, we find cnoidal periodic wave solutions and fundamental bright and dark optical solitarywave solutions for the fourth-order dispersive and the quintic nonlinear Schrodinger equation with self-steepening, and self-frequency shift.
