Stochastic resonator systems with input and/or output 1/f noise have been studied. Disordered magnets/dielectrics serve as examples for the case of output 1/f noise with white noise (thermal excitation) at the input of the resonators. Due to the fluctuation-dissipation theorem, the output noise is related to the out-of-phase component of the periodic peak of the output spectrum. Spin glasses and ferromagnets serve as interesting examples of coupled stochastic resonators. A proper coupling can lead to an extremely large signal-to-noise ratio. As a model system, a l/f-noise-driven Schmitt trigger has been investigated experimentally to study stochastic resonance with input 1/f noise. Under proper conditions, we have found several new nonlinearity effects, such as peaks at even harmonics, holes at even harmonics, and 1/f noise also in the output spectrum.  相似文献

Based on our former experience on contaminant solubilisation and mobilisation in the process of soil remediation we used cyclodextrins as additives in environmental bioassays, for improving solubility and bioavailability of the contaminant in soil and as a consequence sensitivity of the bioassay. In this article we introduce the findings on the application of RAMEB (randomly methylated ??-cyclodextrin) for testing PCP (pentachlorophenol) in soil, in three bioassays: bacterial luminescence-inhibition test with Vibrio fischeri, protozoon growth inhibition test with Tetrahymena pyriformis, and Ames mutagenicity test. We applied RAMEB which has a high solubilising capacity on many typical soil contaminant and PCP, because contradictory results were published for its toxicity and mutagenicity. The RAMEB-aided Ames test, gave a sudden and expressed increase in the mutagenicity of PCP, however, Ames mutagenicity was negative without cyclodextrin (CD). Based on these results we tried to apply RAMEB for increasing sensitivity of other bioassays, such as acute toxicity tests with different test organisms. According to our results the effect of RAMEB on bioavailability and toxic effect depends not only on the K ow value (octanol?Cwater partition coefficient) of the chemical substances, but also on the test organism, the water-content of the test-matrix and the applied concentration of RAMEB, as well as its ratio to PCP. We collected all the characteristics of the bioassays applied for PCP and some other contaminants and showed the measured effect data in comparison with each other. We found that in the complex system of soil and soil suspension, used in the bioassays, the interactions between soil solid, water and gaseous phases, as well as between the test organism and RAMEB result in K ow dependent partition of the contaminant between solid and water phases of soil, RAMEB, and the test organism. The conclusion is that RAMEB undoubtedly has an influence on the fate and behaviour of the contaminant in soil and soil suspensions, and the direction of the RAMEB-induced changes depends on the effective concentration of the RAMEB in the bioassay, the time of contact, the type of test organism, and the characteristics of the RAMEB?Ccontaminant complex. In those cases, when RAMEB increased the effect of a contaminated environmental sample, this CD-induced increase can be considered as a ??realistic worse case?? situation, which can be very useful in risk assessment, resulting in a moderate overestimate in the value of environmental risk.  相似文献

A long-term radon concentration monitoring was carried out in the Pál-völgy cave, Budapest, Hungary, for 1.5 years. Our major goal was to determine the time dependence of the radon concentration in the cave to characterise the air exchange and define the most important environmental parameters that influence the radon concentration inside the cave. The radon concentration in the cave air was measured continuously by an AlphaGuard radon monitor, and meteorological parameters outside the cave were collected simultaneously. The air's radon concentration in the cave varied between 104 and 7776 Bq m?3, the annual average value was 1884±85 Bq m?3. The summer to winter radon concentration ratio was as high as 21.8. The outside air temperature showed the strongest correlation with the radon concentration in the cave, the correlation coefficient (R) was 0.76.  相似文献

N-aminopyridyl ketone salts were reacted with formamide to yield heteroaromatic pyrido[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazinium salts. Upon storage of these products in the presence of water, formation of covalent hydrates have been observed. Reaction of the same starting compound with urethane yielded 3-chloropyrido[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazinium salt which readily reacted with secondary amines to afford 3-amino derivatives. An analogous ring closure reaction of 2-formylaminomethyl- and formaminobenzylpyridine allowed the synthesis of the partially reduced 3,4-dihydropyrido[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazinium compounds. The cyclization procedure was also applied for the synthesis of the related pyrimido[2,1-f][1,2,4]triazinium salt.  相似文献

A liquid chromatographic tandem mass spectrometric (LC–MS–MS) method for the determination of five chemical coccidiostats (decoquinate, diclazuril, halofuginone, nicarbazin, and robenidine) and five ionophore coccidiostats (maduramicin, monensin, narasin, salinomycin, and semduramicin) in yoghurt, kefir, and sour cream is presented. Lasalocid, the sixth ionophore listed in 124/2009/EC was not included because of its extremely dissimilar behavior during sample preparation. Main steps of the method include extraction with acetonitrile, centrifugation, clean-up on Oasis HLB solid phase extraction cartridge, evaporation under nitrogen stream, and LC–MS–MS determination. Selectivity, linearity, sensitivity, accuracy, repeatability, within-laboratory reproducibility, limit of determination, and limit of quantitation were determined during the validation procedure. The method proved to be applicable for both qualitative and quantitative determination of the ten above-mentioned target compounds. In our in-house fermentation experiments, milk fortified with coccidiostats was fermented to get yoghurt, kefir, and sour cream. Our results show that the coccidiostat content did not change significantly during fermentation for any of the target compounds.

A variational principle is formulated for Löwdin’s bracketing function. Setting the bracketing function stationary leads to the eigenvalue equation of the resolvent operator. An Eckart-type inequality is derived for the wavefunction optimized this way. A linearized approximation of the resolvent eigenvalue equation—reminiscent of the simplest coupled electron pair (CEPA0) treatment—is examined. We prove that the asymmetric energy formula of the resulting approximate function is a strict lower bound.  相似文献

Hematological and oncological disorders represent leading causes of childhood mortality. Neuropeptide somatostatin (SST) has been previously demonstrated in various pediatric tumors, but limited information exists on the expression and characteristics of SST receptors (SSTR) in hematological and oncological disorders of children. We aimed to investigate the expression of mRNA for SSTR subtypes (SSTR-1–5) in 15 pediatric hematological/oncological specimens by RT-PCR. The presence and binding characteristics of SSTRs were further studies by ligand competition assay. Our results show that the pediatric tumor samples highly expressed mRNA for the five SSTR subtypes with various patterns. The mRNA for SSTR-2 was detected in all specimens independently of their histological type. A Hodgkin lymphoma sample co-expressed mRNA for all five SSTR subtypes. SSTR-3 and SSTR-5 were detected only in malignant specimens, such as rhabdomyosarcoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and a single nonmalignant condition, hereditary spherocytosis. The incidence of SSTR-1 and SSTR-4 was similar (60%) in the 15 specimens investigated. Radioligand binding studies demonstrated the presence of specific SSTRs and high affinity binding of SST analogs in pediatric solid tumors investigated. The high incidence of SSTRs in hematological and oncological disorders in children supports the merit of further investigation of SSTRs as molecular targets for diagnosis and therapy.  相似文献

Two polymorphs of trans-13-azabicyclo[10.2.0]tetradecan-14-one display a unique example of isostructurality, differing only in the orientation of a given hydrogen bond with respect to the beta-lactam bond.
