A note on the doubly reflected backward stochastic differential equations driven by a Lévy process

In this note, we study the doubly reflected backward stochastic differential equations driven by Teugels martingales associated with a Lévy process (DRBSDELs for short). In our framework, the reflecting barriers are allowed to have general jumps. Under the Mokobodski condition, by means of the Snell envelope theory as well as the fixed point theory, we show the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the DRBSDELs. Some known results are generalized.     

Development of Sulfonic-Acid-Functionalized Mesoporous Materials: Synthesis and Catalytic Applications

Sulfonic acid based mesostructures (SAMs) have been developed in recent years and have important catalytic applications. The primary applications of these materials are in various organic synthesis reactions, such as multicomponent reactions, carbon–carbon bond couplings, protection reactions, and Fries and Beckman rearrangements. This review aims to provide an overview of the recent developments in the field of SAMs with a particular emphasis on the reaction scope and advantages of heterogeneous solid acid catalysts.

??In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions for reflected backward stochastic differential equations driven by a Levy process, in which the reflecting barriers are just right continuous with left limits whose jumps are arbitrary. To derive the above results, the monotonic limit theorem of Backward SDE associated with Levy process is established.     

Enhancement of a conducting polymer-based biosensor using carbon nanotube-doped polyaniline

A biosensor with improved performance was developed through the immobilization of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) onto electropolymerized polyaniline (PANI) films doped with carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The effects of electropolymerization cycle and CNT concentration on the response of the biosensor toward H₂O₂ were investigated. It was found that the application of CNTs in the biosensor system could increase the amount and stability of the immobilized enzyme, and greatly enhanced the biosensor response. Compared with the biosensor without CNTs, the proposed biosensor exhibited enhanced stability and approximately eight-fold sensitivity. A linear range from 0.2 to 19 μM for the detection of H₂O₂ was observed for the proposed biosensor, with a detection limit of 68 nM at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3 and a response time of less than 5 s.
