A rapid, efficient, and convenient synthesis of functionalized triarylmethane is described by the Friedel–Crafts alkylation of methoxybenzenes with a variety of aldehydes in the presence of BF3·OEt2. The generality of the method is demonstrated by screening a variety of di- or tri-substituted arenes as well as substituted aromatic, heteroaromatic, and aliphatic aldehydes. We consider the problem of performing matrix completion with side information on row-by-row and column-by-column similarities. We build upon recent proposals for matrix estimation with smoothness constraints with respect to row and column graphs. We present a novel iterative procedure for directly minimizing an information criterion to select an appropriate amount of row and column smoothing, namely, to perform model selection. We also discuss how to exploit the special structure of the problem to scale up the estimation and model selection procedure via the Hutchinson estimator, combined with a stochastic Quasi-Newton approach. This paper is devoted to identify a space-dependent source term in a multi-dimensional time fractional diffusion-wave equation from a part of noisy boundary data. Based on the series expression of solution for the direct problem, we improve the regularity of the weak solution for the direct problem under strong conditions. And we obtain the uniqueness of inverse space-dependent source term problem by the Titchmarsh convolution theorem and the Duhamel principle. Further, we use a non-stationary iterative Tikhonov regularization method combined with a finite dimensional approximation to find a stable source term. Numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A versatile synthetic strategy for the preparation of multimetallic oxynitrides has been designed and here exemplarily discussed considering the preparation of nanoscaled zinc–gallium oxynitrides and zinc–gallium–indium oxynitrides, two important photocatalysts of new generation, which proved to be active in key energy related processes from pollutant decomposition to overall water splitting. The synthesis presented here allows the preparation of small nanoparticles (less than 20 nm in average diameter), well-defined in size and shape, yet highly crystalline and with the highest surface area reported so far (up to 80 m2 g−1). X-ray diffraction studies show that the final material is not a mixture of single oxides but a distinctive compound. The photocatalytic properties of the oxynitrides have been tested towards the decomposition of an organic dye (as a model reaction for the decomposition of air pollutants), showing better photocatalytic performances than the corresponding pure phases (reaction constant 0.22 h−1), whereas almost no reaction was observed in absence of catalyst or in the dark. The photocatalysts have been also tested for H2 evolution (semi-reaction of the water splitting process) with results comparable to the best literature values but leaving room for further improvement.  相似文献

Perovskite oxides of the Ln0.5A0.5MnO3 (Ln=lanthanide, A=Sr, Ca) family have been investigated for the thermochemical splitting of H2O and CO2 to produce H2 and CO respectively. The amounts of O2 and CO produced strongly depend on the size of the rare earth ions and alkaline earth ions. The manganite with the smallest rare earth possessing the highest distortion and size disorder as well as the smallest tolerance factor, gives out the maximum amount of O2, and, hence, the maximum amount of CO. Thus, the best results are found with Y0.5Sr0.5MnO3, which possesses the highest distortion and size disorder. Y0.5Sr0.5MnO3 shows remarkable fuel production activity even at the reduction and oxidation temperatures as low as 1200 °C and 900 °C, respectively.  相似文献

We report the properties of a new series of wide band gap photovoltaic polymers based on the N-alkyl 2-pyridone dithiophene (PDT) unit. These polymers are effective bulk heterojunction solar cell materials when blended with phenyl-C71-butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM). They achieve power conversion efficiencies (up to 5.33%) high for polymers having such large bandgaps, ca. 2.0 eV (optical) and 2.5 eV (electrochemical). Grazing incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) reveals strong correlations between π–π stacking distance and regularity, polymer backbone planarity, optical absorption maximum energy, and photovoltaic efficiency.  相似文献
