A multifractal decomposition according to rate of returns

For one‐dimensional simple symmetric random walk, the Hausdorff and packing dimensions of sets of sample paths with prescribed rate of returns to the origin are determined. 对数似然比与整值随机变量序列的一类强律

本文引进对数似然比作为整值随机变量序列相对于服从几何分布的独立随机变量序列的偏差的一种度量,并通过限制对数似然比给出了样本空间的一个子集.在此子集上得到了一类用不等式表示的强律,其中包含整值随机变量序列与相对熵密度及几何分布的熵函数有关的若干极限性质.

Novel aromatic polyamides bearing pendent diphenylamino or carbazolyl groups

Two new diamines, 2,4‐diaminotriphenylamine ( 3 ) and N‐(2,4‐diaminophenyl)carbazole ( 4 ), were synthesized via the cesium fluoride‐mediated aromatic substitution reactions of 1‐fluoro‐2,4‐dinitrobenzene with diphenylamine and carbazole, followed by palladium‐catalyzed hydrazine reduction. Amorphous and soluble aramids having pendent diphenylamino and carbazolyl groups were prepared by the phosphorylation polycondensation of aromatic dicarboxylic acids with diamines 3 and 4 , respectively. The aramids derived from diamine 3 had sufficiently high molecular weights to permit the casting of flexible and tough films. They exhibited excellent mechanical properties and moderately high softening temperatures in the 221–298 °C range. However, the reactions of diamine 4 with aromatic diacids gave relatively lower molecular weights products that could not afford flexible films. For a comparative purpose, the parent aramids derived from m‐phenylenediamine and aromatic diacids were also prepared and characterized. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 技术的动态发展和企业间的竞争对企业新产品策略有很大影响,直接决定新产品的引进周期。本文在产业技术动态变化的随机环境下构建随机动态规划模型,关注产业技术进步、投资成本和产品市场竞争等影响因素,探讨企业进行新产品引进的周期选择,对新产品引进的周期和质量决策进行方法设计和应用举例。利用随机动态规划模型得出新产品引进的最优时间周期,用算例分析技术进步和产品研发成本对企业引进周期策略的影响,采取策略迭代的方法进行求解,发现技术进步较快时企业的新产品引进步伐也较快,研发成本的提高使企业的新产品引入步伐降低。

Optimal conclusive teleportation of a d-dimensional two-particle unknown quantum state

A conclusive teleportation protocol of a d-dimensional two-particle unknown quantum state using three d- dimensional particles in an arbitrary pure state is proposed. A sender teleports the unknown state conclusively to a receiver by using the positive operator valued measure（POVM） and introducing an ancillary qudit to perform the generalized Bell basis measurement, We calculate the optimal teleportation fidelity. On invertible substitutions with two fixed points

Searching for a counterfeit coin with b-balance

We consider the classical problem of searching for a heavier coin in a set of n coins, n-1 of which have the same weight. The weighing device is b-balance which is the generalization of two-arms balance. The minimum numbers of weighings are determined exactly for worst-case sequential algorithm, average-case sequential algorithm, worst-case predetermined algorithm, average-case predetermined algorithm.We also investigate the above search model with additional constraint: each weighing is only allowed to use the coins that are still in doubt. We present a worst-case optimal sequential algorithm and an average-case optimal sequential algorithm requiring the minimum numbers of weighings.
