Single and multi-point laser Doppler velocimetry measurements performed in a cold Mach 1.2 jet flow are used to assess those properties of the aerodynamic field most relevant in the generation of turbulence mixing noise. Single point measurements yield mean velocity profiles, turbulence intensity profiles and power spectral densities of both the velocity and Reynolds stress fields at seven axial stations between the jet exit and the end of the potential core. The longitudinal components of the second-order and fourth-order two-point velocity correlation tensor are obtained from a series of multi-point LDV measurements, whence a cartography of integral space and time scales, convection velocities and acoustic compactness is effected. These results are used to examine differences between subsonic and supersonic jet aerodynamics in terms of their sound generating potential. Finally analytical expressions are proposed for the spatial and temporal parts of the longitudinal correlation coefficient function. This paper describes a systematic design of experiments (DoE) approach by applying the principle of quality by design (QbD) to determine the design space for a stability-indicating HPLC method prior to validation. By employing DoE, a simultaneous multivariate approach was carried out for mobile phase pH, flow rate, percentage of organic content and column temperature. A two-level fractional factorial design (24?1 + 2 center points = 10 experiments) was employed and statistical analysis of the experimental data uncovered the significant influential chromatographic factors. The experimental data for USP tailing and resolution were analyzed statistically to screen the chromatographic factors. This approach determined the most influential chromatographic factors. During this process, inferences were evaluated from various data tables, for example, analysis of variance, summary of fit, lack of fit, and parameter estimates. The study also explained various plots such as actual vs. predicted plot, Pareto plot, and prediction profiler. The acceptable range of the chromatographic factors was displayed as a Contour plot defining the ‘design space’ of the method. The range of operating conditions that guarantee a satisfactory QbD was deduced to finalize the method prior to validation. The method is simple, rapid, and robust for the determination of montelukast in montelukast sodium oral granules dosage form. The method was validated according to ICH guidelines for accuracy, precision, linearity, range, specificity, ruggedness and robustness (one factor varied at a time). The method has been successfully transferred to the quality control department for quality analysis of manufactured batches and stability samples.  相似文献

Measurements of the axial streaming velocity are performed by means of laser doppler velocimetry in an experimental apparatus consisting of a waveguide having loudspeakers at each end for high intensity sound levels. Streaming is characterized by an appropriate Reynolds number Re(NL), the case Re(NL)<1 corresponding to the so-called slow streaming and the case Re(NL)>/=1 being referred to as fast streaming. The variation of axial streaming velocity with respect to the transverse coordinate is compared to the available slow streaming theory. Streaming fluid flow is measured both in the core region and in the near wall region. Streaming velocity in the center of the guide agrees reasonably well with the slow streaming theory for small Re(NL) but deviates significantly from such predictions for Re(NL)>20 and its evolution for further increasing Re(NL) is discussed. Then streaming behavior in the near wall region is particularly studied. For Re(NL)<70, two vortices are present across the guide section as predicted by slow streaming theory. Then it appears that, when the Reynolds number is increased, two other vortices become visible in the near wall region. Different stages for the generation and evolution of these inner streaming vortices are presented.  相似文献

We give a review of Boson expansion methods applied in the quantum theory as e.g. expansions of spin, bifermion and Fermion operators in cases of the finite and infinite number of degrees of freedom. The basic purpose of the paper is to formulate the most general criterions allowing to get so called finite spin approximation of any given Bose field theory, and the class of Fermion theories associated with it. Quite the converse, we need also to be able to reconstruct the primary Bose field theory while any finite spin or Fermi systems are given.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of cytochrome c (cyt‐c) that was electrostatically immobilized onto a self‐assembled monolayer (SAM) of captopril (capt) on a gold electrode has been investigated. Cyclic voltammetry, scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were employed to evaluate the blocking property of the capt SAM. SECM was used to measure the bimolecular electron transfer (ET) kinetics (kBI) between a solution‐based redox probe and the immobilized protein. In addition, the tunneling ET between the immobilized protein and the underlying gold electrode was calculated. A kBI value of (5.0±0.6)×108 mol?1 cm3 s?1 for the bimolecular ET and a standard tunneling rate constant (k0) of 46.4±0.2 s?1 for the tunneling ET have been obtained.  相似文献

A novel nano‐fibrillated mesoporous carbon (IFMC) was successfully prepared via carbonization of the ionic liquid 1‐methyl‐3‐phenethyl‐1H‐imidazolium hydrogen sulfate ( 1 ) in the presence of SBA‐15. The material was shown to be an efficient and unique support for the palladium nanoparticle (PdNP) catalyst Pd@IFMC ( 2 ) in aerobic oxidation of heterocyclic, benzylic, and heteroatom containing alcohols on pure water at temperatures as low as 40 °C for the first time and giving almost consistent activities and selectivities within more than six reaction runs. The catalyst has also been employed as an effective catalyst for the selective oxidation of aliphatic and allylic alcohols at 70–80 °C. The materials were characterized by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), N2 adsorption–desorption analysis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and electron tomography (ET). Our compelling XPS and ET studies showed that higher activity of 2 compared to Pd@CMK‐3 and Pd/C in the aerobic oxidation of alcohols on water might be due to the presence of nitrogen functionalities inside the carbon structure and also the fibrous nature of our materials. The presence of a nitrogen heteroatom in the carboneous framework might also be responsible for the relatively uniform and nearly atomic‐scale distribution of PdNPs throughout the mesoporous structure and the inhibition of Pd agglomeration during the reaction, resulting in high durability, high stability, and recycling characteristics of 2 . This effect was clearly confirmed by comparing the TEM images of the recovered 2 and Pd@CMK‐3.  相似文献

The preparation and characterization of a set of periodic mesoporous organosilicas (PMOs) that contain different fractions of 1,3‐bis(3‐trimethoxysilylpropyl)imidazolium chloride (BTMSPI) groups uniformly distributed in the silica mesoporous framework is described. The mesoporous structure of the materials was characterized by powder X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and N2 adsorption–desorption analysis. The presence of propyl imidazolium groups in the silica framework of the materials was also characterized by solid‐state NMR spectroscopy and diffuse‐reflectance Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy. The effect of the BTMSPI concentration in the initial solutions on the structural properties (including morphology) of the final materials was also examined. The total organic content of the PMOs was measured by elemental analysis, whereas their thermal stability was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. Among the described materials, it was found that PMO with 10 % imidazolium content is an effective host for the immobilization of perruthenate through an ion‐exchange protocol. The resulting Ru@PI‐10 was then employed as a recyclable catalyst in the highly efficient aerobic oxidation of various types of alcohols.  相似文献

We investigate the tunneling conductance in a normal metal/insulator/d-wave superconductor (NM/I/d-wave SC) junction with a barrier of thickness d and with an arbitrary gate voltage V(0) applied across the barrier region, formed on the surface of a topological insulator, using the Dirac-Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation and Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk?(BTK) formalism. We find that the tunneling conductance as a function of both d and V(0) displays an oscillatory behavior whose amplitude decreases with increase of V(0). We also find that when the Andreev resonant condition is met, the tunneling conductance approaches a maximum value of 2G(0), independent of the gate voltage V(0).  相似文献
