Isotope dilution analysis using the redox substoichiometric principle has been applied to the determination of antimony content in metallic zinc. As the substoichiometric reaction, the oxidation of trivalent to pentavalent antimony with potassium permanganate was used, followed by separation of these species by the BPHA extraction of trivalent antimony. Determination of antimony contents less than 0.5 μg was found to be possible with good accuracy, without separation of zinc ions. The antimony content in metallic zinc was determined to be 19.7±0.8 ppm, in good agreement with the results obtained by the other analytical methods.  相似文献

The growth and dissolution rates of glucose isomerase crystals ({1 0 1} face) were measured in situ at 0.1 and 100 MPa. From these data, we determined that the solubilities at 25 degrees C were C(e) = 3.1 +/- 0.9 and 2.6 +/- 0.5 mg mL(-1) at 0.1 and 100 MPa, respectively. At the same supersaturation of sigma = 2.5 (sigma identical with ln(C/C(e)), C = the concentration of glucose isomerase, C(e) = the solubility) and temperature (T = 25 degrees C), the growth rate under 100 MPa was 7.6 times larger than that under 0.1 MPa. This result shows, for the first time, a kinetic acceleration of the growth rates of protein crystals with increasing pressure. The growth rates vs sigma data fitted well with a two-dimensional nucleation growth model of a polynucleation type. The fitting results indicate that the acceleration is mainly due to the decrease in the molecular surface energy of the glucose isomerase crystal with pressure.  相似文献

Simultaneous removal of NOx, SO2 and HCl in flue gas of a municipal solid waste incinerator was studied by using electron beam irradiation technology. The flue gas around of 1000 Nm3/h was led to a spray-dryer-type reactor from an inlet of ESP of the municipal waste incinerator by spraying slaked-lime slurry with one or more stoichiometic amount of the pollutants, concentrations of HCl (400 ppm) and SO2 (50 ppm) decreased almost completely, while concentrations of NOx (100 ppm) were markedly decreased to about 20 ppm by electron beam irradiation with a dose of 10 kGy at 150°C under spraying slaked-time slurry of two stoichiometric amounts. The removal of NOx was improved by increasing the dose and the amount of spraying slaked-time slurry, and by lowering the irradiation temperature.  相似文献

In a discharged supersonic jet of acetonitrile and carbon disulfide, we have for the first time observed an electronic transition of the NC(3)S radical using laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) spectroscopy. A progression originating from the C-S stretching mode of the upper electronic state appears in the excitation spectrum. Each band of the progression has a polyad structure due to anharmonic resonances with even overtones of bending modes. Rotationally resolved spectra have been observed by high-resolution laser scans, and the electronic transition is assigned to A 2Pii-X 2Pii. For the vibronic origin band, the position and the effective rotational constant of the upper level have been determined to be 21 553.874(1) and 0.046 689(4) cm(-1), respectively. The dispersed fluorescence spectrum from the zero vibrational level of A 2Pi3/2 has also been observed; its vibrational structure is similar to that of the LIF excitation spectrum, showing a prominent C-S stretching progression with polyad structures. The vibrational frequencies of the C-S stretching mode in the ground and excited electronic states are determined to be 550 and 520 cm(-1), respectively. Fluorescence decay profiles have been measured for several vibronic levels of the A state.  相似文献

The psychotropic effects of "Hokkai-Kisso", i.e. roots of Japanese valerian, were compared with those of diazepam and imipramine. Both 30% EtOH extract of valerian root (11.2 g/kg) and diazepam (3 mg/kg) significantly prolonged hexobarbital-induced sleep in mice. Spontaneous ambulation and rearing during an open field test were significantly decreased by valerian extract (11.2 g/kg), but kessyl glycol diacetate (KGD, 400 mg/kg) and diazepam (3 mg/kg) significantly increased ambulation. Diazepam (10 mg/kg) significantly decreased approach-avoidance conflict in mice in a water-lick conflict test, but valerian extract and KGD did not. By contrast, valerian extract (4.1 g/kg) and imipramine (20 mg/kg) significantly inhibited immobility induced by a forced swimming test in rats, but did not increase spontaneous motor activity during an open field test just before the forced swimming test. In addition, valerian extract and imipramine significantly reversed reserpine-induced hypothermia in mice. These results indicate that valerian extract acts on the central nervous system and may be an antidepressant.  相似文献

A selective chromatographic detection system for the determination of acetyl-coenzyme A (CoA) is reported. The short-chain acyl-CoA thioesters were separated by reversed-phase ion-pair high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and then acetyl-CoA was selectively detected on-line with an immobilized enzyme reactor (IMER) as a post-column reactor. Thio-CoA liberated enzymatically from acetyl-CoA was determined spectrophotometrically after reaction with Ellman's reagent in the reagent stream. The IMER with phosphotransacetylase had a substrate specificity sufficient to determine acetyl-CoA and was active and stable in the mobile phase containing methanol and the ion-pair reagent. The calibration graph was linear between 0.2 and 10 nmol, with a detection limit of 0.05 nmol. This HPLC system with detection by IMER allows the selective identification and determination of acetyl-CoA in a mixture of acetoacetyl-CoA and 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA, which are difficult to separate with ion-pair HPLC.  相似文献
