Mechanism of o-xylene conversion on magnesium modifications of Y zeolite

o-Xylene conversions has been investigated in the presence of MgNaY zeolites with different Si/Al ratios and degrees of exchange. Disproportionation proceeds to a higher degree than does isomerization. The distribution of reaction products is attributed to geometric factors. The results are in agreement with a monomolecular mechanism of isomerization.

多壁碳纳米管-Nafion复合膜修饰玻碳电极测定硝苯地平的研究

研制了以Nafion分散羧基化多壁碳纳米管的化学修饰电极(Nafion-MWCNTs/GC),研究了硝苯地平(NIF)在修饰电极上的电化学行为和测定方法。实验结果表明,在0.1mol/LNH3-NH4Cl(pH9.6)溶液中,Nafion-MWCNTs/GC,对NIF具有明显的催化和增敏作用,还原峰电位由-0.85V(裸电极)正移到-0.75V(vs.AgCl/Ag)(修饰电极),灵敏度增加约7倍。对各种实验条件进行了优化。定量测定的线性范围为2.5×10-7~4.5×10-5mol/L,r为0.9974;检出限为8.0×10-8mol/L。探讨了NIF在Nafion-MWCNTs/GC上的电极过程和反应机理,测得在本体系中参与反应的质子数和电子转移数均为4,电子转移系数α为0.41。对NIF药片进行了测定,回收率为94.5%~101.0%。     

海口市正常儿童头发中四种微量元素含量

用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法（ＩＣＰ－ＡＥＳ），测定了海口市２６６例正常儿童头发中锌、铁、阵、铜四种微量元素的含量，计算出海口市儿童四各微量元素的正常范围。并与其它地区文献报道值进行了比较。     

Crystal structure of poly(p-benzamide)

Redetermination of the crystal structure of poly(p-benzamide) was made by using newly collected intensity data. The molecular conformation is TCTC, where the internal rotation angles about the N? C bond of the amide group and about the virtual bond of N-phenyl-C are T (trans) and C (cis) conformations, respectively. Two molecular chains pass through a rectangular unit cell with dimension, a = 7.75 Å, b = 5.30 Å, c (fiber axis) = 12.87 Å, and the space group, P2₁2₁2₁-D. The reflection observed at the spacing of 010 may be attributed to the reflection due to another crystal polymorph or the diffuse scattering due to disorder. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

Development of enzyme biosensor based on pH-sensitive field-effect transistors for detection of phenolic compounds.

This article describes a biosensor based on pH-sensitive field-effect transistors (pH-FETs) as transducer, and immobilised enzyme tyrosinase as biorecognition element, which was used for the determination of phenolic compounds in water solutions. The biologically active membrane was formed by cross-linking of tyrosinase with bovine serum albumin (BSA) in saturated glutaraldehyde (GA) vapours on the sensitive transducer surface. The main analytical characteristics were studied under different conditions as well as the possibility to optimise these working parameters. Different factors such as the pH of immobilisation, the enzyme loading, the time of exposition to glutaraldehyde vapours were investigated in regards to the influence on sensitivity, limit of detection, dynamic range, and operational and storage stability.

Synthesis of novel multi-arm star azobenzene side-chain liquid crystalline copolymers with a hyperbranched core

A series of novel multi-arm star side-chain liquid crystalline (LC) copolymers with hyperbranched core moieties were synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) using a multi-functional hyperbranched polyether as the initiator and chlorobenzene as the solvent. The multi-functional hyperbranched polyether initiator was prepared from poly(3-ethyl-3-(hydroxymethyl)oxetane) (PEHO) and 2-bromo-2-methylpropionyl bromide. The azobenzene side-chain liquid crystalline arms were designed to have an LC conformation of poly[6-(4-methoxy-4^′-oxy-azobenzene)hexyl methacrylate] with different molecular weights. Their characterization was performed with ¹H NMR, size exclusion chromatograph (SEC), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermal polarized optical microscopy (POM). The multi-arm star side-chain liquid crystalline copolymers exhibited a smectic and a nematic phase, and the phase transition temperatures from the smectic to the nematic phase and from the nematic to isotropic phase increased with increasing the molecular weight of the multi-arm star side-chain liquid crystalline copolymers from 1.78 × 10⁴ to 9.07 × 10⁴.     

Highly efficient recognition of native TpT by artificial ditopic hydrogen-bonding receptors possessing a conformationally well-defined linkage

Synthesis and binding affinity of rationally designed artificial ditopic nucleobase receptors are reported. The ditopic receptors were designed to recognize thymine-thymine dinucleotides by their two hydrogen-bonding moieties, which are connected to conformationally well-defined linkages such as ferrocene and biphenylene. The ditopic receptors exhibited a remarkably strong binding affinity for lipophilic TpT analogue in CDCl(3)/DMSO-d(6) (85:15, v/v). The binding affinity of the ditopic receptors for the dinucleotide was so high that even native TpT was extracted by them into CDCl(3). Detailed comparisons for the recognition abilities of the ditopic receptors were also conducted.     

A sensitive and specific method for the determination of total ribavirin in human red blood cells by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry

A sensitive and specific method using high-performance liquid chromatography (LC)-tandem mass spectrometry (MS) for the analysis of total ribavirin in human red blood cells (RBC) is developed and validated. The method involves the addition of an internal standard and perchloric acid, the conversion of ribavirin phosphorylated metabolites to ribavirin, purification with a solid-phase exchange cartridge, and LC-MS-MS analysis. The MS-MS is selected to monitor m/z 245-113 for ribavirin and m/z 250-113 for [13C]ribavirin using positive electrospray ionization. The calibration curve is linear over a concentration of 100-10,000 ng/mL with a limit of quantitation of 100 ng/mL. Mean interassay accuracy for quality control (QC) at 100, 1000, and 10,000 ng/mL are 101.8%, 99.4%, and 98.8%, respectively. Mean interassay precision (%CV) for QC at 100, 1000, and 10,000 ng/mL are 5.0%, 5.0%, and 2.5%, respectively. Extractibility of total ribavirin from RBC is confirmed with RBC obtained from a [(14)C]ribavirin-dosed monkey. The method is used to determine the free and total ribavirin concentration in human RBC obtained from hepatitis C patients treated with ribavirin.
