An asymmetric [2+2+2] cycloaddition of an alpha,omega-diyne, possessing ortho-substituted aryl groups on its terminus, and a monoalkyne with oxygen functionalities gave various axially chiral teraryl compounds. The coupling proceeded with extremely high enantio- (>99.5% ee) and diastereoselectivities (dl/meso = >95/5) when catalyzed by an iridium-chiral phosphine complex. As the products were readily transformed into diol compounds by deprotection without racemization, the present procedure provides access to a new chiral pool of diol compounds with C2 symmetry. 相似文献

Pumping dye-doped organic polymer by interference pattern of a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG 532 nm laser to induce a periodic gain-structure and confining it within a stable optical resonator, the oscillation output can be effectively enhanced in comparison with either that of uniform irradiation, i.e., pumping, or of distributed feedback (DFB) operation, and the oscillation wavelength becomes tunable by adjusting the period of the interference pattern. Using Rhodamine-B as a dopant over the range from 200 to 1000 ppm, the oscillation output was enhanced by - 10 dB, which was larger than the output of the uniform irradiation and was - 30% greater than the DFB scheme. Moreover, changing the period of the interference pattern by adjusting the setting angle of the Koster prism enables us to vary the oscillation wavelength around 600 nm. 相似文献

We have performed ellipsometry and surface tensiometry at tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTAB) aqueous solution surface coexisting with tetradecane lens as a function of the molality of TTAB and the temperature under atmospheric pressure. From the theoretical analysis of the coefficient of ellipticity, it was clarified that the liquid monolayer comprising the surfactant and alkane is formed at higher surfactant concentrations by the wetting transition of tetradecane lens on the aqueous solution, and the solid monolayer is formed by lowering temperature (freezing transition). The results of the surface tension measurement support the occurrence of wetting transition and the freezing transition. A phase diagram of the wetting film was constructed by ellipsometry and surface tensiometry, of which the mixed solid monolayer had never been reported before. From the thermodynamic analysis of the phase diagram, it is also demonstrated that the TTAB surface density decreases accompanied with the freezing transition, which agrees with surface densities of TTAB calculated from surface tension vs. concentration curves. 相似文献

Armatol F, isolated from the red alga Chondria armata as a polyether triterpene, has a solitary oxepane (A-ring) and a fused tricyclic ether moiety (BCD-ring). The A-ring features a rare cis-relationship between the hydroxy group at the quaternary carbon C6 and the carbon chain at C7. As part of our program toward the total synthesis of armatol F, a new stereoselective method for the construction of the C6 and C7 stereocenters has been developed based on chirality-transferring Ireland-Claisen rearrangement. Thermodynamic and kinetic stabilities of CuAlO2 and CuGaO2 have been evaluated by using thermogravimetry and thermodynamic calculations. It has been revealed that CuAlO2 and CuGaO2 are not thermodynamically stable in air below 800 °C and 1,200 °C, respectively, and that the oxidation reaction, 4CuMO2 + O2 → 2CuO + 2CuM2O4 (M = Al, Ga), should occur if the reaction kinetics are high enough. However, rate constants and activation energies indicated
