Copper(I) complexes of thioureas having the general formulae [CuLnBr] and [CuLn]Br [where, n = 1 − 4 and L = thiourea (Tu), N-methylthiourea (Metu), N-ethylthiourea (Ettu), N,N-dipropylthiourea (Dprtu), N,N-dibutylthiourea (Dbtu) or N,N-diphenylthiourea (Dphtu)] were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and NMR (1H and 13C) spectroscopy. The crystal structure of one of them, [Cu(Metu)4]Br (1), was determined by X-ray crystallography. The X-ray structure of 1 describes a tetrahedral geometry around copper(I) with all Metu ligands binding through sulfur atoms. An upfield shift in the 13C NMR and downfield shift in the 1H NMR spectra are consistent with the thione coordination to copper(I). Antimicrobial activities of the complexes were evaluated by the minimum inhibitory concentration method. The results showed that only [Cu(Ettu)3Br] was effective in inhibiting the growth of all the tested organisms (gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria, and Candida sp.), while the other complexes were not effective against all the organisms.  相似文献

In this report, the effects of conductive polymer oxidation states and structures on the design and development of ionic liquid (IL)/conductive polymer (CP) composite films for gas sensing are systematically characterized. Four different polyvinyl ferrocene (PVF) films synthesized by varying the conditioning potential (0.7 vs 0.0 V) and the electrolyte are tested for their gas-sensing properties (e.g., sensitivity, selectivity, response time, linearity, and dynamic range against various gas analytes such as dichloromethane, ethanol, natural gas, methane, formaldehyde (37%), and benzene) utilizing the quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) and ATR-FT-IR. The best available film is further studied as a substrate for the immobilization of various ILs that enhanced both the sensitivity and selectivity. Finally, two arrays, each comprising four sensors with the following scheme are developed and characterized for their ability to classify the four target analytes by using linear discriminant analysis: (1) the highest sensitivity PVF film immobilized with four different ILs and (2) the highest sensitivity IL immobilized in four different PVF films. Array 2 is proven to be much better than array 1 in discriminating the analytes, which is very significant in establishing the fact that a diverse set of PVF redox states allow the rational development of a PVF/IL composite-based sensor array in order to analyze complex mixtures utilizing structural differences and the extent of intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

It is undeniable that HIV infection has been a censorious public health concern over the past four decades. It is reported that HIV is the main reason for AIDs which has decimated the global population of humans and imposed a significant economic burden on affected areas. Hence, it is significant to study the transmission of HIV viruses in the body of a human host. In this study, we use a fractional framework to organise the intricate interactions of CD4+ T-cells and HIV viruses in order to investigate HIV infection with control interventions. We apply the operators of Caputo and Atangana–Baleanu to interrogate the transmission phenomena of HIV viruses. For the analysis of our system, we present the basic concepts of the fractional operators. Numerical schemes are provided to show the solution pathways of the system with the variation of input parameters. Furthermore, the findings emphasise the chaotic and dynamical behaviour of HIV. We run several simulations to visualise the influence of input factors and quantitatively illustrated the dynamics of HIV. Chaos and oscillatory behaviour are intimately linked, and this is owing to the system's nonlinearity. Furthermore, our findings indicate the most important factors for infection control and prevention.  相似文献

In this paper, the leaves of Taxus were used as the sole carbon source, and two kinds of carbon dots blue and red, with different properties, were synthesized by the hydrothermal method under different conditions. The red carbon dots were quenched in the water, and the blue carbon dots had stable fluorescence properties in water environment. The bimodal fluorescence probe formed by mixing could accurately and stably measure the water content in ethanol, which was in the range of 82.5%-100%, is highly correlated with the fluorescence intensity ratio (I481/I678) of mixed carbon dots under 390 nm excitation light, with R2?=?0.995 and the detection limit as low as 0.31%. The experimental materials are environmentally friendly, low in cost, and simple to operate, as well as the water content measured by proportional fluorescence has high accuracy, which provides a new method for measuring moisture in ethanol.

Relying on the assembly of commercially available catalyst building blocks, highly stereocontrolled quaternary carbon (all carbon substituted) formation has been achieved with unmatched substrate diversity. For example, the in situ assembly of a tricomponent catalyst system allows α‐branched aldehyde addition to nitroalkene or maleimide electrophiles (Michael products), while addition to an α‐iminoester affords Mannich reaction products. Very good yields are observed and for fifteen of the eighteen examples 96–99 % ee is observed. Using racemic α‐branched aldehydes, two contiguous (quaternary–tertiary) stereogenic centers can be formed in high diastereo‐ and enantiomeric excess (eight examples) via an efficient in situ dynamic kinetic resolution, solving a known shortcoming for maleimide electrophiles in particular. The method is of practical value, requiring only 1.2 equiv of the aldehyde, a 5.0 mol % loading of each catalyst component, for example, O‐tBu‐L ‐threonine (O‐tBu‐L ‐Thr), sulfamide, DMAP or O‐tBu‐L ‐Thr, KOH, and room temperature reactions. As a highlight, the first demonstration of ethylisovaleraldehyde ( 7 ) addition is disclosed, providing the most congested quaternary stereogenic carbon containing succinimide product ( 8 ) known to date. Finally, mechanistic insight, via DFT calculations, support a noncovalent assembly of the catalyst components into a bifunctional catalyst, correctly predict two levels of product stereoselectivity, and suggest the origin of the tricomponent catalyst system’s exceptionality: an alternative hydrogen bond motif for the donor‐acceptor pair than currently suggested for non‐assembled catalysts.  相似文献

Dielectric constant ??? and loss factor ??? were measured in intercalated polypyrrole/aluminum pillared montmorillonite (PPy/Al-PMMT) clay nanocomposites in the frequency range 100 Hz to 1 MHz. The PPy/Al-PMMT nanocomposites were prepared by in situ polymerization of pyrrole in aqueous dispersion of varying amounts of (Al-PMMT) clay from 0.2 to 10%, using FeCl3 · 6H2O as an oxidant. Formation of the nanocomposite was studied by FTIR and intercalation of PPy in the clay galleries was confirmed by XRD. The nanocomposites exhibited very large values of ??? and ??? at low frequency which decreased with frequency and increased with the clay content in the samples. Electric modulus formalism exhibited a peak in the frequency dependence curves of imaginary part of the electric modulus due to conductivity relaxation process. The peak of conductivity relaxation shifted towards higher frequencies and the magnitude of relaxation decreased with the increase of MMT content in the composites.  相似文献

A series of 2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydrochromon‐4‐one derivatives (flavanone derivatives) were synthesized by silica gel assisted isomerization of several α‐methyl‐2′‐hydroxy chalcones in 74%–88% yield. These flavanones were further oxidized to 3‐methyl flavones by using iodine in dimethyl sulphoxide at 60°C in presence of acid. The newly synthesized derivatives were evaluated for in vitro study against Staphylococcus aureus, Micrococcus luteus and Staphylococcus epidermis.  相似文献
