It was aimed to gain information on the nuclear structure of Rb86 by investigation of the 2?→2+ β transition. For this purpose the energy dependence of theβγ angular correlation and the angle dependence of theβγ circular polarization correlation have been measured. A novel experimental set-up has been used for the angular correlation measurement allowing a simultaneous determination of the anisotropy coefficientsA 2 andA 4 under considerable reduction of systematical and statistical errors. For the polarization correlation measurement an unusual experimental arrangement has been applied providing the possibility of simultaneous observation under four different angles. Employing additional data on shape factor measurements and energy dependent circular polarization correlations from other authors the nuclear structure of the 2? state in Rb86 and the 2+ first excited state in Sr86 have been evaluated. For the latter purpose the unified model with weak coupling has been chosen.  相似文献

The spectrum shape of the 2?-0+ unique first-forbidden β-transition of 86Rb has been remeasured. An end-point energy of E0 = 1779.2±2.5 keV and a shape factor coefficient a = ?0.039 ±0.003(m0c2)?1 have been obtained. In order to explain this deviation from the unique forbidden shape a detailed theoretical analysis of this β-transition has been carried out. It was found that it is not possible to explain this behaviour in the framework of the unified model. By including, however, the induced currents, especially the induced tensor current (second class current), in the on-mass-shell limit, more agreement between experiment and theory could be obtained. But the extracted value for the induced tensor coupling constant |T = 0.013 ± 0.005 should be considered as a rough estimate only because of the simplistic nature of the analysis in single-particle impulse approximation terms.  相似文献

For the detection of tiny motions which are caused by the tympanic membrane under normal hearing conditions, the touch-free method of Laser Doppler Vibrometry was used. Spectra containing information about the motions of the middle ear bones were recorded within 1 min when the umbo was chosen as the detection point and acoustic stimulation was performed via white noise excitation. It was observed that these spectra correlate to middle ear diseases, which had been artificially induced by manipulations in the chain of the middle ear bones in human temporal bones. The dosimetry of the applied laser radiation was found to be harmless to the tympanic membrane, which opened the way for successful in vivo measurements.  相似文献

Evidence is presented to support the view that the approximate shape factor C = q2 + b?p2 does not adequately describe the second-forbidden beta decay of 137Cs. An improved formula is given, with single-particle estimates of the nuclear matrix-element ratios. According to this model the coefficient of p2 involves considerable cancellation between matrix elements; when due allowance is made for this, good fits to the experimental data are obtained, leading to better estimates of the decay scheme parameters.  相似文献
