Development of technology for producing modern effective catalysts for the industry of high density polyethylene and polypropylene

The results of development and testing catalysts for producing polypropylene are presented. The innovative project is based on the development of highly efficient catalysts of a propylene polymerization carried out at the Institute of Catalysis, and on the successful of cooperation of Tomskneftehim and the Institute Catalysis on testing these catalysts in the industrial production of PP.     

On CP-odd effects in KL → 2π and K± → π±π±π± decays generated by direct CP violation

The amplitudes of the K ^± → 3π and K→ 2π decays are expressed in terms of different combinations of one and the same set of CP-conserving and CP-odd parameters. Extracting the magnitudes of these parameters from the data on K → 2π decays, we estimate an expected CP-odd difference between the values of the slope parameters g ⁺ and g ⁻ of the energy distributions of “odd” pions in K ⁺ → π⁺π⁺π⁻ and K ⁻ → π⁻π⁻π⁺ decays. Formation mechanism of a circumferential roller in a drying biofluid drop

Using the methods of theoretical thermohydromechanics, a model of protein roller formation at the periphery of a drying biofluid drop is constructed. As basic mechanisms of mass transfer-, temperature-, concentration-, and gravity-induced convections are considered, which produce a global toroidal flow with an ascending fluid filament at the center, dipping fluid along the free surface, and compensatory centripetal flow at the bottom. The shape of the protein roller is analyzed under the assumptions that the material deposition rate is proportional to the (i) material concentration and (ii) material flux.     

医药类专业物理课程教学存在的问题及对策

根据对国内69所普通高等院校医药类专业（本科）物理课程教学现状调查的结果,分析了在我国高等教育进入“大众化教育”的形势下,医药类专业物理课程教学中存在的4个急需解决的问题,指出了医药类专业物理课程教学改革的方向,并介绍了我们所做的一些工作。     

The role of the intermediate resonance <Emphasis Type="Italic">a</Emphasis><Subscript>0</Subscript>(980) in the decay <Emphasis Type="Italic">η</Emphasis> → <Emphasis Type="Italic">πγγ</Emphasis>

It is shown that if the a₀(980) boson is the scalar chiral partner of a π meson, its contribution to the transition η → πγγ has a value comparable to that originated by vector meson exchange. Together, these two mechanisms give the decay probability consistent with the experimental observation.
