Holmium doped cadmium lead borate glasses were prepared from melting in appropriate proportions of a mixture of CdO, PbO2, H3BO3 and (1–2 mol %) Ho2O3 in the temperature range of 800–850 °C. The density of glass samples was measured using Archimedes Principle. The infrared spectra of the glasses in the range of 400–4000 cm?1 showed their structure systematically. No boroxol ring formation was observed in the structure of these glasses, but the conversion of 3-fold to 4-fold coordination of boron atoms in the structure of glasses was observed. The glass transition studies were done through differential scanning calorimetry. The optical analysis is done by using the Judd–Ofelt theory.  相似文献

In this paper, we give some new definitions of compatible mappings of types (I) and (II) in fuzzy metric spaces and prove some common fixed point theorems for four mappings under the condition of compatible mappings of types (I) and (II) in complete fuzzy metric spaces. Let ${\mathfrak{a}}$ be an ideal of a commutative Noetherian ring R and M a finitely generated R-module. It is shown that ${{\rm Ann}_R(H_{\mathfrak{a}}^{{\rm dim} M}(M))= {\rm Ann}_R(M/T_R(\mathfrak{a}, M))}$ , where ${T_R(\mathfrak{a}, M)}$ is the largest submodule of M such that ${{\rm cd}(\mathfrak{a}, T_R(\mathfrak{a}, M)) < {\rm cd}(\mathfrak{a}, M)}$ . Several applications of this result are given. Among other things, it is shown that there exists an ideal ${\mathfrak{b}}$ of R such that ${{\rm Ann}_R(H_{\mathfrak{a}}^{{\rm dim} M}(M))={\rm Ann}_R(M/H_{\mathfrak{b}}^{0}(M))}$ . Using this, we show that if ${ H_{\mathfrak{a}}^{{\rm dim} R}(R)=0}$ , then ${{{\rm Att}_R} H^{{\rm dim} R-1}_{\mathfrak a}(R)= \{\mathfrak{p} \in {\rm Spec} R | \,{\rm cd}(\mathfrak{a}, R/\mathfrak{p}) = {\rm dim} R-1\}.}$ These generalize the main results of Bahmanpour et al. (see [2, Theorem 2.6]), Hellus (see [7, Theorem 2.3]), and Lynch (see [10, Theorem 2.4]).  相似文献

A novel biosensor for catechol has been constructed by immobilizing polyphenol oxidase (PPO) into acetone-extracted propolis (AEP) composite modified with gold nanoparticles (GNPs) and attached to multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNTs) on a gold electrode surface. The propolis for AEP was obtained from honeybee colonies. Under the optimum conditions, this method could be successfully used for the amperometric determination of catechol within a concentration range of 1 × 10−6 to 5 × 10−4 M, with a detection limit of 8 × 10−7 M (S/N = 3). The effects of pH and operating potential are also explored to optimize the measurement conditions. The best response was obtained at pH 5, while an optimum ratio of signal-to-noise (S/N) was obtained at −20 mV (versus Ag/AgCl), which was selected as the applied potential for the amperometric measurements. All subsequent experiments were performed at pH 5. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was used to characterize the PPO/CNTs/GNPs/AEP/Au biosensor. The biosensor also exhibited good selectivity, stability, and reproducibility.

Using the revised plane wave method, we have calculated the photonic band structures of 2D metallic photonic crystals composed of parallel metallic rods in air background and air holes drilled in metal background. Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, and let N be a non-zero finitely generated locally quasi-unmixed R-module. In this paper, the main result asserts that N is Cohen-Macaulay if and only if, for any N-proper ideal I of R generated by heightN I elements, the set of asymptotic primes of I with respect to N is equal to the set of presistent primes of I with respect to N. We describe a new method for the separation and preconcentration of traces of Au(III) in environmental samples. Sorbents made from modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes and conducting polymers (PANI and PEDOT) were used for solid-phase extraction. The Au(III) ions are adsorbed as a result of the interaction with the electron pairs of =N- and -S- groups. Effects of pH value, flow rate and volume of sample, type, volume and concentration of eluent, and the adsorption capacity were investigated. The maximum adsorption capacity of MWCNTs/PANI and MWCNTs/PEDOT are 159 and 176?mg?g?1, and the detection limits of this method are below 0.3 and 0.5?ng?mL?1, respectively. The procedure was successfully applied to the determination of traces of Au(III) in a reference material and in environmental samples.

In this paper, the dynamical response of a slave semiconductor laser, with short cavity, under injection of a chaotic light from a master semiconductor laser has been widely studied. This is analyzed numerically via bifurcation diagrams, in terms of the phase and strength of the feedback, as control parameters. It is shown that, both of these parameters should be considered in the dynamical response of the slave laser. Our numerical calculations show that the dynamics of the slave laser imitates the master laser, in addition to the feedback strength, it also heavily depends on the injection dynamics and rates. Numerical results also show that for different values of the control parameters, the intensity of the slave laser output can be fully different from the injection source. However, we found out under appropriate conditions, that the dynamics of the slave can be the same as the master laser. The results also show that the output of the slave laser, compared to its output without injection, can be stabled in the appropriate values of the injection rate from the master laser.  相似文献
