The chromatic dispersion for conventional and Er-doped fibers using the refractive index approximation is examined. A first, analytical method for investigation of dispersion in step index triple clad optical fiber is used. To design of zero-dispersion shifted fiber for optical communication purpose manipulation of the refractive index and radius of the core are considered. We show that in presence of the Si-NC-Er ions, zero-dispersion wavelength is displaced and the dispersion quantity is increased. In this work, we try to optimize system parameters to obtain minimum dispersion and dispersion shifted fiber with control of the doping levels of Er ions and Si-NC as well as doping profiles. For especial case, we assumed the Gaussian inhomogeneous core refractive index for zero-dispersion wavelength and dispersion managements. 相似文献

We construct a new model for relativistic particle on the noncommutative plane, using the symplectic formalism of constrained systems. We suggest a shortcut approach to construct the gauged Lagrangian, using the Poisson algebra of constraints, without calculating the whole procedure of symplectic formalism. We also propose an approach for the systems, in which the symplectic formalism is not applicable, due to the truncation of production of secondary constraints at the first level. After gauging the model, we obtain the corresponding generators of gauge transformations of the physical system. Finally, by extracting the Poisson structure of all constraints, we show the effect of gauging on the canonical structure of the phase spaces of both primary and gauged models. 相似文献

Background
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a primary cause of dementia in ageing population affecting more than 35 million people around the globe. It is a chronic neurodegenerative disease caused by defected folding and aggregation of amyloid beta (Aβ) protein. Aβ is formed by the cleavage of membrane embedded amyloid precursor protein (APP) by using enzyme ‘transmembrane aspartyl protease, β-secretase’. Inhibition of β-secretase is a viable strategy to prevent neurotoxicity in AD. Another strategy in the treatment of AD is inhibition of acetylcholinesterase. This inhibition reduces the degradation of acetylcholine and temporarily restores the cholinergic function of neurons and improves cognitive function. Monoamine oxidase and higher glutamate levels are also found to be linked with Aβ peptide related oxidative stress. Oxidative stress leads to reduced activity of glutamate synthase resulting in significantly higher level of glutamate in brain. The aim of this study is to perform in silico screening of a virtual library of biaryl scaffold containing compounds potentially used for the treatment of AD. Screening was done against the primary targets of AD therapeutics, acetylcholinesterase, β-secretase (BACE1), Monoamine oxidases (MAO) and N-Methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor. Compounds were screened for their inhibitory potential by employing molecular docking approach using AutoDock vina. Binding energy scores were embodied in the heatmap to display varies strengths of interactions of the ligands targeting AD.Results
Several ligands showed notable interaction with at least two targets, but the strong interaction with all the targets is shown by very few ligands. The pharmacokinetics of the interacting ligands was also predicted. The interacting ligands have good drug-likeness and brain availability essential for drugs with intracranial targets.Conclusion
These results suggest that biaryl scaffold may be pliable to drug development for neuroprotection in AD and that the synthesis of further analogues to optimize these properties should be considered.344.
This paper presents a canonical Hamiltonian model of liquid sloshing for the container coupled with spacecraft. Elliptical shape of rigid body is considered as spacecraft structure. Hamiltonian system is an important form of mechanical system. It mostly used to stabilize the potential shaping of dynamical system. Free surface movement of liquid inside the container is called sloshing. If there is uncontrolled resonance between the motion of tank and liquid-frequency inside the tank then such sloshing can be a reason of attitude disturbance or structural damage of spacecraft. Equivalent mechanical model of simple pendulum or mass attached with spring for sloshing is used by many researchers. Mass attached with spring is used as an equivalent model of sloshing to derive the mathematical equations in terms of Hamiltonian model. Analytical method of Lyapunov function with Casimir energy function is used to find the stability for spacecraft dynamics. This article computes effect of uniform magnetic field on nanofluid flow filling porous medium inside parallel sheets. Darcy's law is used to characterize porous medium. Flow is caused by stretching of the lower sheet. The governing systems are computed using Finite difference technique. Natural products with therapeutic nature are nowadays warmly welcomed in textiles. Current study is concerned with isolation of tannin from neem bark (Azadirachta indica) and its application onto silk fabric. For improvement in shades, chemical & bio-mordants have been employed at optimal dyeing conditions. It is found that methanolic extract of pH 5 obtained 8 g dye powder after US Treatment for 30 min has given high color strength if used to dye irradiated silk for 65 min at 75 °C. Bio-mordanting using herbal plants has improved the color characteristics as compared to chemical mordants used. ISO standards for color fastness reveal that herbal based bio-mordants have improved the rating from good to excellent as compared to chemical mordants used. It is concluded that US treatment has not only isolate the colorant for neem bark under mild condition but also given excellent characteristic using bio mordants onto silk fabrics. 相似文献

The use of low-cost and ecofriendly adsorbents has been investigated as an ideal alternative to the current expensive methods of removing dyes from wastewater. Orange peel was collected from the fields of orange trees in the north of Iran and converted into a low-cost adsorbent. This paper deals with the removal of textile dyes from aqueous solutions by orange peel. Direct Red 23 (DR23) and Direct Red 80 (DR80) were used as model compounds. The adsorption capacity Q0 was 10.72 and 21.05 mg/g at initial pH 2. The effects of initial dye concentration (50, 75, 100, 125 mg/l), pH, mixing rate, contact time, and quantity of orange peel have been studied at 25 degrees C. The Langmuir and Freundlich models were used for this study. It was found that the experimental results show that the Langmuir equation fit better than the Freundlich equation. The results indicate that acidic pH supported the adsorption of both dyes on the adsorbent. Orange peel with concentrations of 8 and 4 g/l has shown adsorption efficiencies of about 92 and 91% for DR23 and DR80, respectively. Furthermore, adsorption kinetics of both dyes was studied and the rates of sorption were found to conform to pseudo-second-order kinetics with a good correlation (R > or = 0.998). Maximum desorption of 97.7% for DR23 and 93% for DR80 were achieved in aqueous solution at pH 2. Finally, the effect of adsorbent surface was analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). A series of new metal complexes of Co(II), Ce(III) and UO(2)(VI), with the Schiff base ligand, H2L, bis-salicylatothiosemicarbazide have been prepared in presence of different molar ratios of LiOH.H2O as a deprotonating agent. Also, the ternary complexes were prepared by using 2-aminopyridine (2-Ampy) or oxalic acid (Ox) as a secondary ligand. All synthesized compounds were identified and confirmed by elemental analyses, molar conductivities, spectral (UV-Vis, IR, 1H NMR, mass) and magnetic moment measurements as well as TG-DSC technique. The changes in the selected vibrational absorption bands in IR and NMR spectra of the Schiff base ligand upon coordination indicate that, the ligand behaves as a neutral, monoanionic and/or dianionic tetradentate manner with ONNO donor sites. Conductance measurements suggest the non-electrolytic and 1:1 electrolytic nature of the metal complexes. Thermal studies suggest a mechanism for degradation of the metal complexes as function of temperature supporting the chelation modes, moreover, show the possibility of obtaining new complexes pyrolytically in the solid state which cannot be synthesized from solution. Antimicrobial screening of the free ligand and its binary complexes showed that, the free ligand and some metal complexes possess antimicrobial activities towards four type of bacteria and five types of fungi and these results were compared with eleven type of known antibiotics. 相似文献
