This article critically reviews the electroanalytical methods devoted for the determination of organic compounds in automotive fuels that can range from contaminants to additives typically introduced into liquid biofuels and liquid fossil fuels. Contaminants such as aldehydes and ketones in bioethanol, free fatty acids and glycerol in biodiesel, and sulfur and nitrogen organic compounds in gasoline and diesel fuel, and additives such as colour markers and antioxidants added to fuels were determined by electroanalytical methods. Special focus is given to electrodes, electrochemical techniques, and sample preparation strategies. Future directions of research on electroanalysis of liquid fuels are presented. 相似文献

This study presents the experimental and theoretical study of highly internally Al‐doped TiO2 nanoparticles. Two synthesis methods were used and detailed characterization was performed. There were differences in the doping and the crystallinity, but the nanoparticles synthesized with the different methods share common features. Anatase to rutile transformation occurred at higher temperatures with Al doping. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed the generation of oxygen vacancies, which is an interesting feature in photocatalysis. In turn, the band‐gap energy and the valence band did not change appreciably. Periodic density functional calculations were performed to model the experimentally doped structures, the formation of the oxygen vacancies, and the band gap. Calculation of the density of states confirmed the experimental band‐gap energies. The theoretical results confirmed the presence of Ti4+ and Al3+. The charge density study and electron localization function analysis indicated that the inclusion of Al in the anatase structure resulted in a strengthening of the Ti?O bonds around the vacancy. 相似文献

Pathway complexity has become an important topic in recent years due to its relevance in the optimization of molecular assembly processes, which typically require precise sample preparation protocols. Alternatively, competing aggregation pathways can be controlled by molecular design, which primarily rely on geometrical changes of the building blocks. However, understanding how to control pathway complexity by molecular design remains elusive and new approaches are needed. Herein, we exploit positional isomerism as a new molecular design strategy for pathway control in aqueous self‐assembly. We compare the self‐assembly of two carboxyl‐functionalized amphiphilic BODIPY dyes that solely differ in the relative position of functional groups. Placement of the carboxyl group at the 2‐position enables efficient pairwise H‐bonding interactions into a single thermodynamic species, whereas meso‐substitution induces pathway complexity due to competing hydrophobic and hydrogen bonding interactions. We analyse by discrete molecular dynamics the self-assembly of SW trimer particles that contain a different number of attractive and repulsive spheres. They also have different geometries: linear, obtuse, rectangular and equilateral. We identify that some of these molecules exhibit liquid–vapour equilibria while others do not. For all of them, we show the morphological phase diagram built up from the different supra-molecular structures formed by each type of trimer. We simulated 14 different systems with a total of 321 states. The main features of the supra-molecular structures depend only on the composition and geometry of the trimer: triple SW trimers do not form supra-structures, double SW trimers and single SW trimers form monolayers, bilayers and worm-like micelles. The liquid–vapour coexistence properties are also exhibited. These trimers can be used to model complex amphiphiles beyond the standard ones, such as the Gemini and the Bola surfactants as well as colloidal particles. 相似文献

Treatment of polluted soil is one of the priorities in the search of a more sustainable planet. Electrochemically assisted soil remediation has been considered a good option for removing organic contaminants contained in soil, including the removal of volatile organic compounds, associated with gaseous streams produced during the treatment. Also, recently, electrochemical gas treatment technologies have been appointed as promising for the treatment of volatile organic compounds. In this work, we review the current opinion about the most recent studies in both areas. The first section focuses on the production of gaseous compounds during soil remediation by conventional and electrochemical systems. The second section describes the recent progress in the integration of adsorption and absorption with electrochemical processes. Finally, we discuss the holistic application of assisted electrochemical technologies in soil remediation, considering also emerging processes recently published in the literature. 相似文献

Recalling the construction of a flat surface from a Bratteli diagram, this paper considers the dynamics of the shift map on the space of all bi-infinite Bratteli diagrams as the renormalizing dynamics on a moduli space of flat surfaces of finite area. A criterion of unique ergodicity similar to that of Masur’s for flat surface holds: if there is a subsequence of the renormalizing dynamical system which has a good accumulation point, the translation flow or Bratteli–Vershik transformation is uniquely ergodic. Linear parameter varying (LPV) control is a model-based control technique that takes into account time-varying parameters of the plant. In the case of rotating systems supported by lubricated bearings, the dynamic characteristics of the bearings change in time as a function of the rotating speed. Hence, LPV control can tackle the problem of run-up and run-down operational conditions when dynamic characteristics of the rotating system change significantly in time due to the bearings and high vibration levels occur. In this work, the LPV control design for a flexible shaft supported by plain journal bearings is presented. The model used in the LPV control design is updated from unbalance response experimental results and dynamic coefficients for the entire range of rotating speeds are obtained by numerical optimization. Experimental implementation of the designed LPV control resulted in strong reduction of vibration amplitudes when crossing the critical speed, without affecting system behavior in sub- or super-critical speeds. 相似文献

In this work, a bidimensional differential equation system obtained by modifying the well-known predator–prey Rosenzweig–MacArthur model is analyzed by considering prey growth influenced by the Allee effect.One of the main consequences of this modification is a separatrix curve that appears in the phase plane, dividing the behavior of the trajectories. The results show that the equilibrium in the origin is an attractor for any set of parameters. The unique positive equilibrium, when it exists, can be either an attractor or a repeller surrounded by a limit cycle, whose uniqueness is established by calculating the Lyapunov quantities. Therefore, both populations could either reach deterministic extinction or long-term deterministic coexistence.The existence of a heteroclinic curve is also proved. When this curve is broken by changing parameter values, then the origin turns out to be an attractor for all orbits in the phase plane. This implies that there are plausible conditions where both populations can go to extinction. We conclude that strong and weak Allee effects on prey population exert similar influences on the predator–prey model, thereby increasing the risk of ecological extinction. 相似文献

Summary This paper presents a graphical display for the parameters resulting from loglinear models. Loglinear models provide a method
for analyzing associations between two or several categorical variables and have become widely accepted as a tool for researchers
during the last two decades. An important part of the output of any computer program focused on loglinear models is that devoted
to estimation of parameters in the model. Traditionally, this output has been presented using tables that indicate the values
of the coefficients, the associated standard errors and other related information. Evaluation of these tables can be rather
tedious because of the number of values shown as well as their rather complicated structure, mainly when the analyst needs
to consider several models before reaching a model with a good fit. Therefore, a graphical display summarizing tables of parameters
could be of great help in this situation. In this paper we put forward an interactive dynamic graphical display that could
