A relation was established between the composition of Cd

Zn1–x
S nanoparticles and their ability to accumulate excess negative charge during irradiation. The rate of expenditure of the
accumulated charge depends on the composition of the nanoparticles and is determined by their electric capacitance. A correlation
was found between the photocatalytic activity of the Cd
x
Zn1–x
S nanoparticles in the release of hydrogen from solutions of Na2SO3, their composition, and their capacity for photoinduced accumulation of excess charge. It was shown that Ni0 nanoparticles photodeposited on the surface of Cd
x
Zn1–x
S are effective cocatalysts for the release of hydrogen. It was found that ZnII additions in photocatalytic systems based on Cd
x
Zn1–x
S/Ni0 nanostructures have a promoting action on the release of hydrogen from water–ethanol mixtures.

Mixed-ligand platinum complexescis-PtII(R6NH2)(NH3)X2 andcis-PtII(R5NH2)(NH3)X2 (R6 is 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl-1-oxyl and R5 is 2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-3-pyrrolidinyl-1-oxyl) were synthesized by either the reaction of aminonitroxides RNH2 with Na[PtII(NH3)Cl2I] generatedin situ (for X2=ClI) or by replacement of the iodo-chloro ligands incis-Pt11(RNH2)(NH3)ClI by dichloro and oxalato ligands. The complexes obtained were characterized by elemental analysis and by IR, UV, and ESR
spectra. Forcis-Pt11(R5NH2)(NH3)Cl2, crystal and molecular structures were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. Cisplatin accelerates autooxidation of methyl
linoleate and the platinum nitroxide complexes synthesized exhibit antioxidant properties. The rate of isolated DNA binding
with the new complexes is almost as high as that for cisplatin.cis-Pt11(R6NH2)(NH3)Cl2 exhibits the highest antitumor activity. The high antitumor activity of platinum nitroxide complexes shows that the possible
“radical component” is not a crucial factor in the cytotoxic action of cisplatin.

The interaction of methane with the oxidized surface of the KNaSrCoO3−x is first order in methane with respect to formation of higher hydrocarbons and zero order with respect to formation of CO2. At the initial stage the rate of formation of the reaction products is independent of the amount of oxygen from the catalyst
consumed (up to 5–7 monolayers of oxygen), after which the rate of the reaction falls linearly. The overall amount of oxygen

Micro‐Raman studies of oxygen‐deficient gray‐colored NaNbO3 single crystals have shown that at room temperature both antiferroelectric P and ferroelectric Q phases are present simultaneously as separate regions tens of micrometers in size. Phase transitions in P and Q regions have been elucidated by dielectric, dilatometric and micro‐Raman studies. A second harmonic signal has been clearly observed in powders and ceramics of BaTiO3 in the high-temperature phase. The effect manifests itself at temperatures 500 K above the temperature of the phase transition from the tetragonal phase to the cubic phase, which is also significantly higher than the Burns temperature of BaTiO3. The temperature dependence of the second harmonic generation signal I 2?? in the paraelectric phase becomes a straight line when plotted in the Arrhenius coordinates lnI 2??(1/T). The experimental results obtained indicate the presence of noncentrosymmetric local regions in the paraelectric phase over a wide range of temperatures. The contribution from these polar regions to the second harmonic generation increases as the phase transition temperature is approached. The temperature dependence of the second harmonic generation in barium titanate ceramics is significantly affected by the technique used for pressing and annealing of the samples. 相似文献

Detailed diagnostic of antiproton beams at low energies is required for essentially all experiments at the Antiproton Decelerator (AD), but will be particularly important for the future Extra Low ENergy Antiproton ring (ELENA) and its keV beam lines to the different experiments. Many monitors have been successfully developed and operated at the AD, but in particular beam profile monitoring remains a challenge. A dedicated beam instrumentation and detector test stand has recently been setup at the AE \(\bar {g}\) IS experiment (Antimatter Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry, Spectroscopy). Located behind the actual experiment, it allows for parasitic use of the antiproton beam at different energies for testing and calibration. With the aim to explore and validate different candidate technologies for future low energy beam lines, as well as the downstream antihydrogen detector in AE \(\bar {g}\) IS, measurements have been carried out using Silicon strip and pixel detectors, a purpose-built secondary emission monitor and emulsions. Here, results from measurements and characterization of the different detector types with regard to their future use at the AD complex are presented. 相似文献
