MS‐based chemical‐proteomics technology is introduced herein as a third general strategy to study the biomolecular recognition properties of given calixarene derivatives. In particular, we demonstrate that a simply designed calix[4]arene derivative 1 a bearing acetamido groups at the exo rim (pAC), when linked to a solid support, is able to fish out a specific protein (PDI protein) from a crude extract of HeLa cells. Western blot and surface plasmon resonance studies confirmed the direct interaction between PDI and the linker‐free pAC derivative 1 b with considerable affinity, and in vitro tests showed its inhibition of PDI chaperone activity. In accordance with the role of PDI in a variety of human cancers, biological tests showed that pAC 1 b was cytotoxic and cytostatic toward CAL‐27 and PC‐3 cancer cell lines in vitro. Docking studies showed that H bonds and hydrophobic interactions contribute to the stabilization of the PDI/pAC complex. 相似文献

The high energy γ-rays from the fusion-evaporation reaction 101 MeV 19F +181Ta have been measured in coincidence with different γ-ray fold windows or discrete γ-rays in final residual nuclei. The line-shape
analysis of the high energy γ-ray spectra confirms the large deformation of the 200Pb nuclei at high angular momenta. Coincidences with discrete γ-transitions evidence a strong correlation between γ-rays in
the Giant Dipole Resonance region (Eγ≥ 8 MeV) and final evaporation residues.

Measurements of fission fragment yields and neutron multiplicities have been carried out for the Mo-Ba fragment pairs in
the spontaneous fission of 252Cf, using the γ-ray spectroscopy technique to analyze γ-γ-γ coincidence data. Prompt γ -ray multiplicities were also measured
as a function of the number of neutrons emitted in the fission process leading to the Mo-Ba partition. We do not observe the
enhancement in the yields of events with high neutron emission multiplicity (νn > 7) that has been associated to a second fission mode leading to the production of hyperdeformed Ba fragments, as reported
in some earlier studies. The average γ-ray multiplicity is found to be rather weakly dependent on the number of neutrons emitted
in the fission process.

The high energy γ-ray emission accompanying the spontaneous fission of 252Cf has been measured in coincidence with individual fission fragments selected by discrete γ-ray transitions. The enhancement
of the γ-ray emission probability in the energy range Eγ= 3–8 MeV has been observed for the fission fragments in the region of nearly symmetric mass splitting, confirming results
reported in previous investigations. The γ-γ coincidence technique employed in the present work clearly demonstrate that the
major contribution to this enhancement is caused by the fission channels where one fragment is near to the N= 82 or Z= 50 shell closures. The high energy γ-ray emission probability does not show any significant dependence on the number of
neutrons emitted in the fission process, supporting the hypothesis that high energy γ-rays are mainly emitted from the fragments
after the neutron evaporation.

In this work, a simple and low‐cost method was developed for the simultaneous determination of the antioxidants tert‐butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) and butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) in the presence of the cationic surfactant CPB by square wave voltammetry (SWV) technique using a carbon black paste electrode (CBPE). The performance of the method was investigated by varying parameters such as pH, electrolyte, and type and concentration of surfactant. Under the optimum conditions of 0.2 mol L?1 phosphate buffer (pH 7.0), 600.0 μmol L?1 of cetylpyridinium bromide surfactant and SWV operating parameters optimized through the Doehlert matrix, the method presented low limits of quantification for TBHQ and BHA (0.23 and 0.26 μmol L?1, respectively) and high precision in successive measurements. The proposed method was applied in mayonnaise, margarine and biodiesel and the accuracy of method was checked by the HPLC technique. 相似文献

Applying the 1 + 3 formalism we write down the full set of equations governing the structure and the evolution of self-gravitating cylindrically symmetric dissipative fluids with anisotropic stresses, in terms of scalar quantities obtained from the orthogonal splitting of the Riemann tensor (structure scalars), in the context of general relativity. These scalars which have been shown previously (in the spherically symmetric case) to be related to fundamental properties of the fluid distribution, such as: energy density, energy density inhomogeneity, local anisotropy of pressure, dissipative flux, active gravitational mass etc, are shown here to play also a very important role in the dynamics of cylindrically symmetric fluids. It is also shown that in the static case, all possible solutions to Einstein equations may be expressed explicitly through three of these scalars. 相似文献

Clustering in low density nuclear matter has been investigated using the NIMROD multidetector at Texas A&M University. Thermal coalescence modes were employed to extract densities, ρ, and temperatures, T, for evolving systems formed in collisions of 47A MeV (40)Ar+(112)Sn, (124)Sn and (64)Zn+(112)Sn, (124)Sn. The yields of d, t, (3)He, and (4)He have been determined at ρ=0.002 to 0.03 nucleons/fm(3) and T=5 to 11 MeV. The experimentally derived equilibrium constants for α particle production are compared with those predicted by a number of astrophysical equations of state. The dynamics of the excited superheavy system with Z = 118 in the reaction 86Kr + Pb at E Kr = 600 MeV has been investigated. The mass and kinetic energy of binary fragments were measured by the time-of-flight method. Double differential distributions of neutrons and α particles were measured in coincidence with fragments. Neutron and α-particle probes were used for determination of the fragmentation time scale. Evidence of the neck fragmentation was obtained from analysis of double differential α spectra. Properties of the α-particle neck fragmentation component are close to those known from the ternary fission of actinide nuclei, but the multiplicity is much larger. The total kinetic energy distribution of fragments tagged by neutrons or α particles shifts towards lower energies. Fragment yields in the symmetric region increase substantially when fragments are tagged by α particles. 相似文献
