A new technique is proposed to improve the way of selecting samples used to estimate spectral reflectance from sensor responses in multi-band images. This technique limits the samples of reflectance spectra based on the spectral reflectance estimated by the conventional estimation method, and estimates it again using the limited samples. A spectral turn method is presented as a spectral based color correction method compatible with the standard RGB system by
applying the idea of a multi-spectral method. The multi-spectral based color reproduction technique has been proposed for
providing independent color of device and viewing conditions. However, it is difficult to replace the RGB devices with high
cost multi-spectral devices since the latter have advanced only to the laboratory level. In the proposed method, the standard
RGB values are converted into spectral information, then returned to RGB values for different viewing conditions. This process
provides more accurate reproduction than the conventional forward process of the color reproduction. An experiment of psychophysical
color matching was performed to evaluate the technique. The mixed chromatic adaptation model was applied to the method in

A multi-spectral imaging system is evaluated for mapping melanin density, total-hemoglobin density, and oxygen saturation in human skin. In this system, the distribution of pigments in human skin is estimated and displayed from digital video signals using three pre-computed “look-up” tables for color conversions. The accuracy of the system is analyzed based on computer simulation by changing the number of bands, quantization levels of the camera system, and dimensions of approximation for spectral reflectance. A method is presented for matching apparent sharpness between digital image display devices with different characteristics. The sharpness is most precisely described by the point spread function (PSF) as opposed to dot density such as DPI (dot per inch). The difference between devices is expressed as difference between transfer functions obtained from the PSFs. In the presented method, spatial frequency filtering for one digital image is carried out where the ratio of the transfer functions or its modified version is used as filter. The modification is introduced as a clipping operation to reduce excessive enhancement when the ratio of the transfer functions has a high pass characteristic with large gain. Through computer simulation including a subjective evaluation experiment and numerical evaluation, the effectiveness of filtering operation for sharpness matching is demonstrated. 相似文献

The ingot of Fe?Si?Al alloy was crushed and ground into plate and granular shaped powders. The powders were classified into several groups in the range from 7 μm to 105 μm by particle sizes. The inner magnetic hyperfine field decreased slightly with the decrease of a particle size and the magnetic field distribution changed between plate and granular particles. Toward the realization of a ligand-driven light-induced spin change (LD-LISC) around room temperature, we have investigated the spin-crossover phenomenon in [Fe(stpy)4(X)2] (stpy = styrylpyridine, X = NCS, NCBH3) under high pressure. The spin transition temperature increases from 110 to 220 K with increasing applied pressure up to 0.75 GPa for [Fe(trans-stpy)4(NCS)2], while [Fe(cis-stpy)4(NCS)2] shows the high-spin state in the temperature region between 2 and 300 K even at 0.75 GPa. In the case of X = NCBH3, due to the stronger ligand field of NCBH3, the spin transition temperature increases from 240 to 360 K with increasing applied pressure up to 0.50 GPa for [Fe(trans-stpy)4(NCBH3)2]. In the case of [Fe(cis-stpy)4(NCBH3)2], the spin state is the high-spin state in the temperature region between 2 and 300 K. However, the spin transition appears at 125 K under 0.5 GPa and the transition temperature increases with increasing applied pressure. In this way, we have decided the applied pressure region of 0.65-1.09 GPa where [Fe(stpy)4(NCBH3)2] undergoes LD-LISC at room temperature. 相似文献
