Asymmetric selective (or stereoelective) polymerization of various racemic methacrylates with cyclohexylmagnesium bromide (c-HexMgBr)-(-)sparteine (1/1.2) catalyst was studied in toluene at ?78°C. The methacrylates of α-ethylbenzyl (EBMA), α-isopropylbenzyl (i-PBMA), α-tert-butylbenzyl (t-BBMA), sec-butyl (s-BuMA), 1-methylallyl (1-MAMA), 2,3-epoxypropyl (2,3-EPMA), 2-phenylpropyl (2-PPMA), and menthyl (MentMA) alcohols were used as racemic monomers. In the polymerization of EBMA and i-PBMA (S) enantiomers were consumed preferentially and the optical purity of initially polymerized i-PBMA was as high as 97%. Optically pure (R) monomers were recovered at about 60% conversion for i-PBMA and 80% for EBMA. In t-BBMA, however, the (R) monomer was consumed preferentially over the (S) isomer. In the polymerization of s-BuMA and 1-MAMA (S) monomers were consumed in excess and the optical purity of the polymers formed in the early stage was about 30%. In 2,3-EPMA and 2-PPMA, which have asymmetric centers at the β position from the ester oxygen, (R) antipodes were more reactive. MentMA did not polymerize at ?78°C. Enantiomer selectivity ratios rS and rR were determined in the polymerization of EBMA, i-PBMA, and 1-MAMA. All polymers except poly(t-BBMA) were highly isotactic, but the tacticity of poly(t-BBMA) could not be estimated. Circular dichroism spectra of optically active polymers of α-substituted benzyl esters were measured.  相似文献

Methyl α,β,β-trifluoroacrylate (MTFA) was grafted onto polymer films with the multiple grafting technique initiated by α-rays: the yields were similar to those of the single-step grafting procedure with any irradiation dose. Grafted polymer obtained in the single-step experiments were distributed mainly near the film surface, whereas graft polymer from the multiple grafting experiments were distributed uniformly in the film at graft yields greater than 20%. The electric resistance of the hydrolyzed multiple graft polymer film in a 2N NaOH solution was much lower than that of one-step graft film at the same graft yield.  相似文献

Relative bone mineral content in the lumbar spine was measured by phantom B-MAs with the apparatus of computerized tomography in order to study the relationships between bone mineral content with age and parathyroid hormone in sera of randomized out- and in-patients and the hemodialysis patients. The patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis were divided into two groups in the absence and the presence of bone pain and investigated the markers of bone pain in these patients. Summary The retention and selectivity of flavonoids (baicalin, baicalein, wogonin, oroxylin A) inScutellariae radix have been studies by high-performance thin-layer chromatography on phenyldimethylethoxysilane-treated silica plates. The silica plates treated with phenyl groups were used for physical and chemical analysis. From elemental carbon analysis, the maximum number of bonded phenyl surface groups per gram was calculated to be 0.467×1021 (Oginal silica plate: Merck Art. 15109, Silica gel 100 F254). With methanol-1/15 M phosphate buffer (pH 6.2) mixtures as mobile phase, baicalin, baicalein, wogonin, and oroxylin A inScutellariae radix were separated. It has been shown that phenyl-treated plates are more suitable for selective separation of baicalin, baicalein, wogonin, and oroxylin A than octadecyl-treated plates.  相似文献

Specific plasma kallikrein inhibitors were designed and synthesized and their structure-activity relationship was studied. trans-4-Aminomethylcyclohexanecarbonyl (Tra)-lysyl-4-ethoxycarbonylanilide inhibited plasma kallikrein and plasmin with IC50 values of 23 and 210 microM, respectively, indicating that this compound is fairly specific to plasma kallikrein. Tra-arginyl-4-ethoxycarbonylanilide inhibited plasma kallikrein and plasmin with IC50 values of 16 and 480 microM, respectively. Tra-homoarginyl-4-carboxyanilide inhibited plasma kallikrein and plasmin with IC50 values of 14 microM and 1 mM, respectively. Finally, Tra-Arg(Mts)-4-acetylanilide (ACA) exhibited potent and selective inhibitory activity against plasma kallikrein (IC50 value for plasma kallikrein: 2 microM and for plasmin: 42 microM).  相似文献

The effect in mice of the molecular weight of polyethyleneglycol on prolonging the circulation time of large unilamellar liposomes (LUVs) was examined using four different distearoyl N-(monomethoxy polyethyleneglycol succinyl) phosphatidylethanolamines (DSPE-PEGs). The molecular weights tested were 1000, 2000, 5000 and 12000. Incorporation of 6 mol% of DSPE-PEG in LUV composed of distearoylphosphatidylcholine (DSPC) / cholesterol (CH) (1:1 in molar ratio) increased the blood circulation half-life significantly more than those without DSPE-PEG derivatives. DSPE-PEGs with molecular weights of 1000 and 2000 prolonged the circulation time of liposomes more than other DSPE-PEGs with higher molecular weights, such as 5000 and 12000. Their effects are also higher than ganglioside GM1, a well described glycolipid with this effect. DSPC/CH LUV-incorporated DSPE-PEG with a molecular weight of 2000 displayed a high concentration in the blood, approximately 40% of the dose, 6 h after the injection.  相似文献

The clinical significance of osteocalcin in sera of bone tumors were measured in sera of various kinds of bone tumors. The levels of osteocalcin were higher in bone tumors than those in normal subjects. Serum osteocalcin levels in hypercalcemic groups of bone metastasis and myeloma showed a remarkable increase in a parallelism with serum ALP and LDH levels. These results suggested to be directly or indirectly activated on osteoblast by bone tumors and to be synthesized osteocalcin in osteoblast.  相似文献

Successive band-splitting transitions occur in the one-dimensional map xi+1=g(xi),i=0, 1, 2,... withg(x)=x, (0 x 1/2) –x +, (1/2 <x 1) as the parameter is changed from 2 to 1. The transition point fromN (=2n) bands to 2Nbands is given by=(2)1/N (n=0, 1,2,...). The time-correlation function i=xix0/(x0)2,xi xi–xi is studied in terms of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the Frobenius-Perron operator of the map. It is shown that, near the transition point=2, i–[(10–42)/17] i,0-[(102-8)/51]i,1 + [(7 + 42)/17](–1)ie–yi, where2(–2) is the damping constant and vanishes at=2, representing the critical slowing-down. This critical phenomenon is in strong contrast to the topologically invariant quantities, such as the Lyapunov exponent, which do not exhibit any anomaly at=2. The asymptotic expression for i has been obtained by deriving an analytic form of i for a sequence of which accumulates to 2 from the above. Near the transition point=(2)1/N, the damping constant of i fori N is given by N=2(N-2)/N. Numerical calculation is also carried out for arbitrary a and is shown to be consistent with the analytic results.  相似文献
