Herein we report on the broad-band direct white-light originating from a single component emitter, namely a novel three-periodic metal-organic framework (MOF). This material features an unprecedented topology with (3,4)-connected nodes. The structure-function relationship in this system is driven by two complementary unique structural features: corrugation and interpenetration. Good correlation between simulated and experimental emission spectra has been attained, resulting in optimized color properties that approach requirements for solid-state lighting (SSL). Guided by the optimized calculated spectra, the tunability of the assembly was proven by the successful in-framework co-doping of Eu(3+). This resulted in significantly improved color properties, opening new paths for the rational design of alternative materials for SSL applications. 相似文献

The130Te(,n)133Xe,130Te(,p)133I,130Te(,pn)132I and130Te(, n)129Te excitation functions for alpha particle energies between 14.7 and 36.5 MeV are presented. Excitation functions for the last three reactions are measured for the first time and more consistent results for (, n) are obtained. The isomeric ratios for the ( n), (, pn) and (, n) reactions were deduced. Calculations based on different theoretical models of equilibrium and preequilibrium decay are compared with the experimental results and discussed. Acceptable presentation of the energy behavior of the measured isomeric ratios was obtained when higher angular momentum depletion for preequilibrium emitted particles was included. The absolute values of the isomeric ratios however remain overestimated.We want to express our gratitude to Prof. Ts. Vylov and Dr. V. Understanding the selectivity of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) to complex acid gas streams will enable their use in industrial applications. Herein, ab initio molecular dynamic simulations (AIMD) were used to simulate ternary gas mixtures (H2O-NO2-SO2) in rare earth 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalic acid (RE-DOBDC) MOFs. Stronger H2O gas-metal binding arose from thermal vibrations in the MOF sterically hindering access of SO2 and NO2 molecules to the metal sites. Gas-gas and gas-linker interactions within the MOF framework resulted in the formation of multiple secondary gas species including HONO, HNO2, NOSO, and HNO3−. Four gas adsorption sites were identified along with a new de-protonation reaction mechanism not observable through experiment. This study not only provides valuable information on competitive gas binding energies in the MOF, it also provides important chemical insights into transient chemical reactions and mechanisms. 相似文献

We report on four recent results concerning the population and the decay of superdeformed states, namely the structure of excited superdeformed states in 194Hg, the search for fine structure of the last superdeformed transitions in 194Pb, the primary decay-out strength analysis in 194Hg and, as a consequence of this, the possibility of using the decay-out as a tool to study order-to-chaos properties of normally deformed states.Received: 3 December 2002, Published online: 17 February 2004PACS:

First evidence is presented for triaxial superdeformation in 170Hf. High-spin states in this nucleus have been investigated in a γ-ray coincidence measurement using the EUROBALL spectrometer
array. A new band was discovered which has moments of inertia that are very similar to the ones of triaxial superdeformed
bands in neighbouring Hf and Lu nuclei. The intensities with which these bands are populated are different from what may be
expected from calculated potential-energy minima.
