Abstract

Phenacylmethacrylate (PAMA), a new monomer containing two carbonyl groups (C[dbnd]O), was obtained from phenacyl chloride and sodium methacrylate. The homopolymer of PAMA and its copolymer with styrene were prepared in dioxane by using benzoylperoxide (Bz2O2) as initiator. IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR techniques were used to identify the structure of the monomer and polymers. The density of monomer, homopolymer and copolymer were found to be 1.13; 1.35 and 1.10 gr/ml respectively. Also, limit viscosity numbers, solubility parameters, glass transition and decomposition temperatures of polymers were determined.  相似文献

Preparation in excellent yields of cyclobutyl benzofuran-2-yl- and naphthofuran- 2-yl-ketones, the corresponding ketoximes and thiosemicarbazones, ether derivatives of the ketoximes and thiazoles derived from the thiosemicarbazones are described. Two of the synthesized compounds have been tested against eight different microorganisms and found to be active against some of the species studied.  相似文献

Summary A novel tetraoxime containing a substituted twofold macrocycle, 6,6-spirobi[1,12-di(hydroxyimino)-2,39,10-dibenzo-1, 11-diaza-4,8-dithiacyclotridecane] (5), has been synthesized from 6,6-bis(5-amino-3,4-benzo-2-thiapentyl)-1, 11-diamino-2, 39, 10-dibenzo-4,8-dithiaundecane (3), which was itself prepared from the potassium salt of 2-aminothiophenol (2), pentaerythrityltetrabromide (1) and cyanogendi-N-oxide (4). A polymeric CoIII complex of (5) containing a 11 metalligand ratio has been isolated. The template synthesis of a new CoIII complex containing bridging BF2 groups was achieved using the hydrogen-bridged CoIII complex. The hetero-polynuclear complex of (5) was prepared by reacting the BF inf2 sup– -capped polymeric CoIII complex with bis(benzonitrile)PdIIchloride. The structure of the ligand and its complexes are in accord to elemental analyses, 1H- and 13C-n.m.r., i.r. and mass spectral data.  相似文献

Two new, Schiff base ligands containing cyclobutane and thiazole rings, 4-(1-methyl-1-mesitylcyclobutane-3-yl)-2-(2,4-dihydroxybenzylidenehydrazino)thiazole (L1H) and 4-(1-methyl-1-mesitycyclobutane-3-yl)-2-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidenehydrazino)thiazole (L2H) and their mononuclear complexes with a 1:2 metal-ligand ratio have been prepared with acetate salts of CoII, CuII, NiII and ZnII in EtOH. The structures of the ligands and their complexes have been established by microanalyses, i.r., u.v.–vis., 13C- and 1H-n.m.r. spectra, and by magnetic susceptibility measurements. The complexes are mononuclear. Thermal properties of the ligands and complexes have been studied by t.g.a. and d.s.c. techniques. Antimicrobial activities of the ligands and their complexes have been tested against eight different microorganisms. Some of the complexes and L1H were found to be active against some of the microorganisms studied.  相似文献

A new ligand, 4‐(1‐methyl‐1‐mesityl‐3‐cyclobutanyl)‐2‐(2‐hydroxy‐1‐naphthylideneimino)thiazole (LH), has been synthesized starting from 1‐methyl‐1‐mesityl‐3‐(2‐chloro‐1‐oxoethyl)cyclobutane and thiourea and subsequently 2‐hydroxy‐1‐napthalaldehyde. Mononuclear complexes with a metal‐ligand ratio of 1:2 have been prepared with Co(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) metals. The authenticity of the ligand and its complexes are proposed based on elemental analyses, IR, UV‐vis, 13C and 1H NMR spectra, magnetic susceptibility measurements, thermogravimetric analyses, and differential scanning calorimetry. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Cationic polymerization of tetrahydrofuran (THF) and epichlorohydrin (ECH) was performed with peroxy initiators synthesized from bis (4,4′‐bromomethyl benzoyl peroxide (BBP) or bromomethyl benzoyl t‐butyl peroxy ester (t‐BuBP) and AgSbF6 or ZnCl2 system at 0 °C to obtain the poly(THF‐b‐ECH) macromonomeric peroxy initiators. Kinetic studies were accomplished for poly(THF‐b‐ECH) initiators. Poly(THF‐b‐ECH‐b‐MMA) and poly(THF‐b‐ECH‐b‐S) block copolymers were synthesized by bulk polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene (S) with poly(THF‐b‐ECH) initiators. The quantum chemical calculations for the block copolymers, the initiating systems of the cationic polymerization of THF and ECH were achieved using HYPERCHEM 7.5 program. The optimized geometries of the polymers were investigated with the quantum chemical calculations. Poly(THF‐b‐ECH) initiators having peroxygen groups were used for graft copolymerization of polybutadien (PBd) to obtain poly(THF‐b‐ECH‐g‐PBd) crosslinked graft copolymers. The graft copolymers were investigated by sol‐gel analysis. Swelling ratio values of the graft copolymers in CHCl3 were calculated. Two new methacrylate monomers, 2‐[3‐(6‐tetralino)‐3‐methylcyclobutyl]‐2‐ketoethyl methacrylate (TKEMA) and 2‐(3‐mesityl‐3‐methylcyclobutyl)‐2‐ketoethyl methacrylate (MKEMA), were obtained from the reaction of 1‐chloroacetyl‐3‐methyl‐3‐arylcyclobutane with sodium methacrylate. The oxime and hydrazone derivatives of poly(TKEMA) and poly(MKEMA) were prepared with hydroxylamine and 2,4‐dinitrophenyl hydrazine. Poly(TKEMA) and poly(MKEMA), their oxime and hydrazone derivatives, and the monomers were characterized with Fourier transform infrared and NMR techniques. The glass‐transition temperatures and thermal stability of the polymers and their oxime and hydrazone derivatives were compared. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. A general and convenient route for the synthesis of 2,5-di[1-methyl-1-arylcyclobutane-3-yl]- thiophenes 4a–c and bis[1-methyl-1-arylcyclobutane-3-yl]-2-(2-oxyethtylamido)thiazole sulfides 7a–c is reported.
