Band gap photoluminescence (PL) behaviors of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) grown by the methods of chemical vapor deposition and pulsed-laser vaporization are investigated over the wide diameter range (≈0.8–1.4 nm). The peak intensity of the PL signals strongly depends on chirality and the ‘(2n + m) family type’ of SWNTs. Based on the PL results, a population analysis of these SWNTs is conducted by combining the calculated PL yields for each (nm) tube. The results are directly compared with the histograms of diameter distributions estimated by the transmission electron microscope (TEM) observations to check the validity of the analysis.  相似文献

Formation and decay of radical cations of trans-stilbene and p-substituted trans-stilbenes (S.+) during the resonant two-photon ionization (TPI) of S in acetonitrile in the presence and absence of O(2) have been studied with laser flash photolysis using a XeCl excimer laser (308 nm, fwhm 25 ns). The transient absorption spectra of S.+ were observed with a peak around 470-490 nm. The formation quantum yield of S.+ (0.06-0.29) increased with decreasing oxidation potential (E(ox)) and increasing fluorescence lifetime (tau(f)) of S, except for trans-4-methoxystilbene which has the lowest E(ox) and longer tau(f) among S. The considerable low yield and fast decay in a few tens of nanoseconds time scale were observed for trans-4-methoxystilbene.+ in the presence of O(2), but not for other S.+ . It is suggested that formation of the ground-state complex between trans-4-methoxystilbene and O(2) and the distonic character of trans-4-methoxystilbene.+ with separation and localization of the positive charge on the oxygen of the p-methoxyl group and an unpaired electron on the beta-olefinic carbon are responsible for the fast reaction of trans-4-methoxystilbene.+ with O(2) or superoxide anion, leading to the considerable low yield and fast decay of trans-4-methoxystilbene.+ . The mechanism based on the transient absorption measurement of S.+ during the TPI is consistent with the relatively high oxidation efficiency of trans-4-methoxystilbene among S based on the product analysis during the photoinduced electron transfer in the presence of a photosensitizer such as 9,10-dicyanoanthracene and O(2) in acetonitrile.  相似文献

Two new cyclopentenone derivatives, erigerenones A (1) and B (2), and a new cyclooctadienone derivative, erigerenone C (3), were isolated from the aerial parts of Erigeron philadelphicus L. Compound 2 was also isolated from the aerial parts of Erigeron annuus (L.) PERS. and Erigeron sumatrensis RETZ. The structures of 1-3 were elucidated on the basis of their spectral data.  相似文献

A deuterated n=1 Ruddlesden-Popper compound, DLnTiO4 (HLnTiO4, Ln=La, Nd and Y), was prepared by an ion-exchange reaction of Na+ ions in NaLnTiO4 with D+ ions, and its structure was analyzed by Rietveld method using powder neutron diffraction data. The structure analyses showed that DLaTiO4 and DNdTiO4 crystallized in the space group P4/nmm with a=3.7232(1) and c=12.3088(1) Å, and a=3.7039(1) and c=12.0883(1) Å, respectively. On the other hand, DYTiO4 crystallized in the space group P21/c with a=11.460(1), b=5.2920(4), c=5.3628(5) Å and β=90.441(9)°. The loaded protons were found to statistically occupy the sites around an apical oxygen of TiO6 octahedron in the interlayer of these compounds, rather than Na atom sites in NaLnTiO4.  相似文献

We succeeded in large-scale preparation of single-wall carbon nanohorns (SWNH) encapsulating C60 molecules in a liquid phase at room temperature using a "nano-precipitation" method, that is, complete evaporation of the toluene from a C60-SWNH-toluene mixture. The C60 molecules were found to occupy 6-36% of the hollow space inside the SWNH, depending on the initial quantity of C60. We showed that the C60 in C60@SWNHox was quickly released in toluene, and the release rate decreased by adding ethanol to toluene. Numerical analysis of the release profiles indicated that there were fast and slow release processes. We consider that the incorporation quantity and the release rate of C60 were controllable in/from SWNHs because SWNHs have large diameters, 2-5 nm.  相似文献

Optically active chloromethyloxirane was obtained from 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol by a process of asymmetric synthesis. The highest enantiomenc excess (e. e. ) of chloromethyloxirane that could be obtained was 67%, using Co(II) (3,5-Cl,Cl-sal)2(S-CHXDA) and K2CO3 as the catalyst and base, respectively. For purpose of comparison, asymmetric cyclizations of racemic 2,3-dichloro-1-propanol and 2-chloro-1-propanol were examined; optically active chloromethyloxirane and methyloxirane were obtained according to kinetic resolution mechanisms, although the optical purities of oxiranes formed were not so high. The mechanisms for the asymmetric reactions were investigated by circular dichroism and absorption spectroscopies. It was found that the cobalt (salen) type complex forms a new complex with alkali metal carbonate, similarly to the function of crown ether. The substrate interacts with the newly formed chiral complex, followed by cylization to give optically active oxiranes.  相似文献

The [Fe(II)(H(3)L)](BF(4))(2).3H(2)O (1) complex was synthesized, where H(3)L (tris[[2-[(imidazole-4-yl)methylidene]amino]ethyl]amine) is a tripodal ligand obtained by condensation of tris(2-aminoethyl)amine and 4-formylimidazole (fim) in a 1:3 molar ratio. Starting from 1, a series of complexes, [Fe(II)(H(1.5)L)](BF(4))(0.5) (2) (=[Fe(II)(H(3)L)][Fe(II)(L)]BF(4)), [Fe(H(1.5)L)]BF(4) (3) (=[Fe(II)(H(3)L)][Fe(III)(L)](BF(4))(2)), [Fe(III)(H(3)L)](BF(4))(3).fim.H(2)O (4), and [Fe(III)(L)].2.5H(2)O (5), has been synthesized and characterized. The single-crystal X-ray structure of each complex has been determined. The Fe(II) compound, 2, and a mixed valence Fe(II)-Fe(III) compound, 3, involve formally hemi-deprotonated ligands, H(1.5)L. The structure of 3 consists of a homochiral two-dimensional assembled sheet, arising from the intermolecular hydrogen bonds between [Fe(II)(H(3)L)](2+) and [Fe(III)(L)](0) (3). All but 5 exhibit spin crossover between low-spin (LS) and high-spin (HS) states. This is a rare case where both Fe(II) and Fe(III) complexes containing the same ligand exhibit spin-crossover behavior. Magnetic susceptibility and M?ssbauer studies showed that 3 has three accessible electronic states: LS Fe(II)-LS Fe(III), HS Fe(II)-LS Fe(III), and HS Fe(II)-HS Fe(III). Compounds 1-3 show the light-induced excited spin-state trapping effect at the Fe(II) sites upon irradiation with green light. The solution magnetic properties, electronic spectra, and electrochemical properties of 1, 4, and 5 were also studied.  相似文献
