New chiral stationary phases of polydimethylsiloxane anchored with (S)-(-)-t-leucine derivatives were provided for use in enantiomer separation of pharmaceuticals by capillary gas chromatography. Fifteen pharmaceuticals were separated into their enantiomeric pairs by converting them into pentafluoropropionyl and heptafluorobutyryl derivatives. The separation factor and resolution obtained from the new phases were superior to those from the conventional Chirasil-Val capillary column.  相似文献

From the ^12 C(π^+,K^+)^12 AC reaction the γ -rays of 261.6±0.24 ke V(7/2^+ →5/2^+)and 1481.7±0.7 ke V(1/2^+ →5/2^+) of ^11 A B,and 2667.3±2.8 keV(1^- 2 → 2^- 1)of ^12 A C hypernuclei have been identified using a large germanium detector array Hyperball2 at K6 beam line of KEK. The observed energies of the transitions 1481.7keV and 261.6 keV are significantly different from the values predicted by the shell model using the △ and SN parameters determined from the ^7 △ Li data.  相似文献

(Z)-Propargylic oxime ethers derived from α,β-unsaturated aldehydes were converted to the corresponding 2,3,6-trisubstituted pyridine oxides in moderate to acceptable yields with high regioselectivity. The Kosa (yellow sand) aerosol affects the global environment as well as human health because it migrates from the interior of China to other areas, absorbing various atmospheric elements. Investigation into individual Kosa aerosol particles, which are submicroscopic to several tens of micrometers in diameter, is required to resolving the issue. We installed a scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX) on a synchrotron radiation (SR) beam line and introduced the SR beam into the SEM chamber for combinatorial application of SEM-EDX and SR X-ray fluorescence (SR-XRF) spectrometry to individual particles. It should be noted that detailed topographic observation by SEM and sensitive elemental analysis by SR-XRF, both crucial for individual particle measurement but which previously had to be carried out separately, were jointly performed inside the SEM chamber in this setup. Here, we show that SR-XRF results, in conjunction with SEM images, contributed toward resolving individual particle dispositions. Atmospheric sulfur primarily adheres to calcium in the aerosol particles and the particle surface roughens as a consequence of the chemical reaction between the two elements.  相似文献

Novel optically active ethynyl monomers were synthesized from L ‐valine and N‐methyl‐L ‐valine, and polymerized with a rhodium catalyst to provide the polymers with number‐average molecular weights over 200,000 in good yields. The CD and UV‐vis spectra of the polymers indicated that they took helical structures with predominantly one‐handed screw sense in solution. The polymers served as catalysts of asymmetric reduction of aromatic ketimines to afford optically active amines in moderate yields. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This work describes the isolation of the secondary metabolites identified as the quinonemethides maytenin (1) and pristimerin (2) from Maytenus ilicifolia extracts obtained from root barks of adult plants and roots of seedlings and their quantification by high performance liquid chromatography coupled to a diode array detector. The electrochemical profiles obtained from cyclic voltammetry and a coulometric detector coupled to high-performance liquid chromatography contributed to the evaluation of their antioxidant capacity. The antioxidant properties of individual components and the crude extracts of the root barks of Maytenus ilicifolia were compared and the possible synergistic associations of quinonemethide triterpenes and phenolic substances were investigated by using rutin as a model phenolic compound.  相似文献

Objectives

To ascertain whether cochlear implantation (CI), without specific vocal rehabilitation, is associated with changes in perceptual and acoustic vocal parameters in adults with severe to profound postlingual deafness.

Hypothesis

Merely restoring auditory feedback could allow the individual to make necessary adjustments in vocal pattern.

Study Design

Prospective and longitudinal.

Methods

The experimental group composed of 40 postlingually deaf adults (20 males and 20 females) with no previous laryngeal or voice disorders. Participants’ voices were recorded before CI and 6–9 months after CI. To check for chance modifications between two evaluations, a control group of 12 postlingually deaf adults, six male and six female, without CI was also evaluated. All sessions composed of the recording of read sentences from Consensus Auditory-Perceptual Evaluation of Voice and sustained vowel /a/. Auditory and acoustic analyses were then conducted.

Results

We found a statistically significant reduction in overall severity, strain, loudness, and instability in auditory analysis. In vocal acoustic analysis, we found statistically significant reduction fundamental frequency (F0) values (in male participants) and F0 variability (in both genders). The control group showed no statistically significant changes in most vocal parameters assessed, apart from pitch and F0 (in female participants only). On comparing the interval of variation of results between the experimental and control groups, we found no statistically significant difference in vocal parameters between CI recipients and nonrecipients, with the exception of F0 variability in male participants.

Conclusions

The patients in our sample showed changes in overall severity, strain, loudness, and instability values, and reductions in F0 and its variability. On comparing the variation of results between the groups, we were able to prove in our study that implant recipients postlingually deaf adults (experimental group), without specific vocal rehabilitation, differed from nonrecipients (control group) in loudness and F0 variability sustained vowel /a/ in male participants.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography method with UV detection for the determination of metronidazole in dried blood spots (DBS) has been developed and validated. DBS samples [spiked or patient samples] were prepared by applying blood (30 µL) to Guthrie cards. Discs (6 mm diameter) were punched from the cards and extracted using water containing the internal standard, tinidazole. The extracted sample was chromatographed without further treatment using a reversed phase system involving a Symmetry® C18 (5 µm, 3.9?×?150 mm) preceded by a Symmetry® guard column of matching chemistry and a detection wavelength of 317 nm. The mobile phase comprised acetonitrile/0.01?M phosphate solution (KH2PO4), pH 4.7, 15:85, v/v, with a flow rate of 1 mL/min. The calibration was linear over the range 2.5–50 mg/mL. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.6 and 1.8 µg/mL, respectively. The method has been applied to the determination of 203 DBS samples from neonatal patients for a phamacokinetic/pharmacodynamic study.  相似文献
