The study is focused on the effect of collagen hydrolysate and glycerol on properties of water‐soluble polyvinylalcohol (PVA) blown films and blends. The experimental design method (DOE) was used in this study. Results from DOE show a strong effect of interactions between the blend components on resulting properties of the films. This fact was confirmed by means of the response surfaces of melting flow index, tensile strength and the content of insoluble fraction. It was concluded that the composition of PVA/CH blend must be precisely specified to avoid the processing complications.  相似文献

The dynamic-structural changes and polymer - solvent interactions during the thermotropic phase transition in poly(vinyl methyl ether) (PVME)/D2O solutions in a broad range of polymer concentrations (c = 0.1-60 wt.-%) were studied combining the measurements of 1H NMR spectra, spin-spin (T2) and spin-lattice (T1) relaxation times. Phase separation in solutions results in a marked line broadening of a major part of polymer segments, evidently due to the formation of compact globular-like structures. The minority (∼15%) mobile component, which does not participate in the phase separation, consists of low-molecular-weight fractions of PVME, as shown by GPC. Measurements of spin-spin relaxation times T2 of PVME methylene protons have shown that globular structures are more compact in dilute solutions in comparison with semidilute solutions where globules probably contain a certain amount of water. A certain portion of water molecules bound at elevated temperatures to (in) PVME globular structures in semidilute and concentrated solutions was revealed from measurements of spin-spin and spin-lattice relaxation times of residual HDO molecules.  相似文献

The process of choosing the most proper technique for studying the molecular interactions is based on critical factors such as instrumentation complexity, automation, experimental procedures, analysis time, consumables, and cost-value. This review has tracked the use of affinity capillary electrophoresis (ACE) and microscale thermophoresis (MST) techniques in the evaluation of molecular binding among different molecules during the 5 years 2016–2021. ACE has proved to be an attractive technique for biomolecular characterization with high resolution efficiency where small variations in several controlling factors can much improve such efficiency compared to other analytical techniques. Meanwhile, MST has proved its higher sensitivity for smaller amounts of complex non-purified biosamples without affecting its robustness while providing high through output. However, the main motivation to review both techniques in the proposed review was their capability to carry out all experiments without the need for immobilizing one interacting partner, besides a great flexibility in the use of buffering systems. The proposed review demonstrates the importance of both techniques in different areas of life sciences. Moreover, the recent advances in exploiting ACE and MST in other research interests have been discussed.  相似文献

Challenges and pitfalls in the application of diethyldithiocarbamate derivatization for LC analysis of cisplatin and oxaliplatin, as well as the suitability of this method for different biological matrices with implications for use in routine practice have been identified. The LC of platinum drugs presents a significant challenge. They are polar compounds with poor retention on reverse phase packings. Cisplatin also exhibits poor absorption in UV and ionization in mass spectrometry. Therefore, we developed and optimized a derivatization approach for the LC analysis of total platinum in plasma, plasma ultrafiltrate, peritoneal fluid, and urine. Derivatization in urine proved to be difficult due to the complexity of the matrix, and extended testing was required. Our results highlight the important issues affecting the efficiency, reliability, and suitability of platinum drug derivatization. Although precolumn derivatization is less selective than its postcolumn counterpart, the application of precolumn derivatization is a simple, rapid, and universal approach for the determination of platinum drugs by HPLC. One of its major advantages is that it allows a more affordable analysis using UV detection without the need for additional high-end instrumentation such as a MS detector.  相似文献
