Positioning of HPPE production on post-Soviet space by technology development and output

The comparative analysis of the molecular mass distribution, temperatures and heat effect of phase transitions, degree of crystallinity of defect materials and matrix polyethylene film were carried out. Possible reasons of deterioration of the quality of polyethylene on stages of its synthesis, transportation, storage, and processing were determined.

Phase problem in three-beam X-ray diffraction

It is shown that, apart from the purely elastic scattering of X-rays, their inelastic coherent scattering by phonons can play, in some cases, a significant part in the formation of reflection curves for multiple X-ray diffraction. This process may affect the interference pattern for weak reflection, and it must be taken into account when extracting the triplet phase, as was demonstrated by an analysis of the experimental rocking curves obtained for the coplanar three-beam diffraction by a KDP crystal.     

Synthesis of phosphorus-substituted dialkylamides of organophosphorus acids,containing PCH<Subscript>2</Subscript>NP fragments

Reactions of [N-(trimethylsilyl)aminomethyl]phosphonates with organophosphorus acid chlorides was studied, which allowed to develop convenient synthetic approaches to novel phosphorus-substrituted dialkylamides of organophosphorus acids, including a PCH₂NP fragment. State of iron atoms in synthetic ferrite garnets and zirconolites—matrices for disposal of actinide-containing waste

Synthetic ferrite garnets and zirconolites containing La, Ce, Gd, and Th as simulators of radioactive actinides have been investigated by ⁵⁷Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy. The state of iron atoms in the samples studied and their distribution over crystallographically nonequivalent structural positions are established. The crystallochemical formulas are refined and space groups are determined for a number of ferrite garnets and zirconolites.     

Operating stability of a frequency spark-gap switch at a voltage up to 300 kV and a switching energy up to 450 J

The design and results of investigation of a two-electrode spark-gap switch aimed at connecting a capacitive energy storage are presented. Experiments are carried out at the following parameters: the operating voltage 300 kV; the switching energy, 450 J; the spark-gap switch current, 20 kA; and the pulse repetition rate, 10 Hz. Owing to specific self-breakdown conditions under which a spark current is preceded by a prebreakdown corona, the voltage stability of the switch within 10% is reached.
