Triterpenoid-based scaffolds betulinic acid (1a) and ursolic acid (1b), have been used for the generation of combinatorial libraries in parallel format using solid phase organic synthesis method. These templates have the potential for the synthesis and amplification of triterpenoid-based compounds with one and two-point diversity. This has been demonstrated by the synthesis of two small libraries comprising 18 derivatives each of betulinic acid and ursolic acid with structural diversity at C-3 and C-28 positions. The primary screening of antimalarial activity of these libraries against P. falciparum in vitro led to the identification of four compounds with 5 fold increase in the activity compared to betulinic and ursolic acids. 相似文献

The hitherto unreported 3-aryloxyacetyl-6-methyl-2,3-dihydrothieno[3,2-c]pyran-4-ones were synthesized in 62–71% yield by the sulfoxide rearrangement of 4-(4′-aryloxybut-2′-ynylthio)-6-methyl-2-pyrone. Rayleigh type surface wave propagation in the irregular bottom of ocean model which is the interface of homogeneous liquid layer over laying an irregular boundary of homogeneous orthotropic half space under initial stresses has been discussed in this paper. Three different dispersion equations are obtained in the form of simple equation using and not using Perturbation technique. Some special cases have been considered. The effect of irregularity, initial stressed, point source, and depth of liquid layer on the propagation of Rayleigh waves has been analyzed and results of numerical discussion have been presented graphically for three different dispersion equations. This work describes the synthesis of a series of Ru(II)‐Arene (Arene=p‐cymene, benzene) complexes using different N‐substituted tetrazole ligands and their PTA analogues. All the complexes have been characterized thoroughly using different analytical techniques. Antiproliferative activity of the synthesized complexes against different cell lines indicates remarkable activity of certain complexes up to nanomolar level. In few cases introduction of water soluble PTA (PTA = 1,3,5‐ triaza‐7‐phospha‐tricyclo‐[3.3.1.1]decane) ligand induce significant cytotoxic activity in the ruthenium complex with respect to their chloro analogues, particularly against Jurkat and MCF‐7 cell lines. Interaction with different biomolecules and stability of the RAPTA complexes have been explored in pseudo‐pharmacological conditions. 相似文献
