The structural, microstructural, polarization, magnetization, dielectric constant, and relaxor characteristics of 0.7BiFeO3-0.3BaTiO3 (BF-BT) nanocrystals have been studied. BF-BT nanocrystals were prepared by a chemical route using polyvinyl alcohol as surfactant. The phase structure is confirmed by X-ray diffraction and average particle size by transmission and scanning electron microscopy. The magnetoelectric coupling is studied by polarization hysteresis loops under the influence of applied magnetic field and the phase transition anomaly. The diffuse phase transition is studied by modified Curie-Weiss law and relaxor characteristics by Vogel-Fulcher relation. 相似文献

As a part of our investigations to unfold the chemistry of calixresorcinarene, we have focused on the formation of inclusion complex of a poorly soluble (43 μg ml?1 at pH 7) drug mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) an immunosuppressive agent and an inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor with para sulphonatocalix[4]resorcinarene (PSC4R). The complete complexation of the drug was achieved after 48 h of stirring with para sulphonatocalix[4]resorcinarene(PSC[4]R) in water and evaporation of water yield the solid complex. The interaction between para sulphonatocalix[4]resorcinarene(PSC[4]R) and MMF in solid state inclusion complexes was accomplished by aqueous phase solubility studies, Thermal Analysis, HPLC, PXRD, FT-IR, and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The results of the phase solubility experiments are in good conformity to signify the formation of 2:1 PSC4R: MMF complexes. The purpose of this study was to enhance solubility and resulting in high dissolution rate and bioavailability of this essentially water insoluble drug. The results of the in vivo study shows that there is a remarkable change in the toxicity of the pure drug MMF and complex did not produce any mortality up to 2200 mg kg?1. 相似文献

We have used ion implantation of 30 keV48Ti+ ions into a-Si films at nominal doses of 1020-1021 ions/m2 to fabricate coherent silicide layers. Characterization of these layers and study of their annealing behaviour were carried out using XRD and RBS techniques. We find that the layers are a mixture of Ti5Si4, TiSi, TiSi2 and Si. On annealing at relatively lower temperatures (up to ~ 300° C), predominant silicide phases present in the layer are Ti-rich, such as Ti5Si4 and TiSi. At higher temperatures, the Ti-rich layer has a tendency to consume unreacted Si from the film and to form a predominantly Si-rich silicide layer. A structure of silicon different from the diamond cubic structure is noticed in these implanted layers. 相似文献

The Born–Mayer potential has been employed to predict the phase transition pressure in four strontium monochalcogenides, namely, SrO, SrS, SrSe, and SrTe, which crystallize in the NaCl (B1) phase and with the application of pressure, transforms to the CsCl (B2) phase. The compression, bulk modulus and the first-order pressure derivative of bulk modulus have also been calculated and compared with the available experimental and other theoretical results. The calculated values of transition pressure and other elastic properties predict that the hardness and strength parameters depend on the crystal structure and have the different values for different structures. 相似文献
