Preparation methods of monolithic silica columns for HPLC including the surface modification were reviewed. Chemical modification methods recently reported to obtain stationary phases for reversed-phase (RP), chiral, ion-exchange, and hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC) separations were discussed. Recent results related to preparation methods of monolithic silica were also covered. The characteristics and properties of silica monoliths and some applications of monolithic silica columns for different analytical and bioanalytical fields will be commented.  相似文献

Regio- and stereoselective formation of the 1,2-cis-furanosidic linkage has been in great demand for efficient synthesis of biologically active natural glycosides. In this study, we developed a regioselective and β-stereospecific d -/l -arabinofuranosylation promoted by a boronic acid catalyst under mild conditions. The glycosylations proceeded smoothly for a variety of diols, triols, and unprotected sugar acceptors to give the corresponding β-arabinofuranosides (β-Arbf) in high yields with complete β-stereoselectivity and high regioselectivity. The regioselectivity was completely reversed depending on the optical isomerism of the donor used and was predictable a priori using predictive models. Mechanistic studies based on DFT calculations revealed that the present glycosylation occurs through a highly dissociative concerted SNi mechanism. The usefulness of the glycosylation method was demonstrated by the chemical synthesis of trisaccharide structures of arabinogalactan fragments.  相似文献

Three-dimensional head models with the structures constructed from the MR head images of 40 volunteers were constructed to analyze light propagation in the subject-specific head models. The mean optical path length in the head and the partial optical path length in the brain at 13 fiducial points for each volunteer were estimated to evaluate the intersubject and spatial variability in the optical path lengths. Although the intersubject variability in the optical path lengths is very high, the spatial variability in the average of the mean optical path length and partial optical path length is similar to the previously reported data. The mean optical path length in the head increases, whereas the partial optical path length in the brain decreases with an increase in the depth of the brain surface. The partial optical path length is highly correlated with the depth of the brain surface in comparison to the mean optical path length in the head.  相似文献

A great deal of attention has been focused on exploiting novel methods to fabricate thin carbonaceous capsules from multiple components for advanced materials. A layer-by-layer (LbL) method is therefore being introduced to synthesize thin and multi-carbon nanotube (CNT)-based hollow capsules from CNT complexes with cationic or anionic complementarily functionalized beta-1,3-glucans as building-blocks. These ionic beta-1,3-glucans wrap around single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWNTs) to form water-soluble complexes with ionic groups on their exterior surface. Alternate self-assembly of these CNT complexes on the silica particles is demonstrated in solution by electrostatic interactions. The LbL adsorption processes were carefully monitored by zeta-potential measurements, frequency shifts of a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM), and electron micrographs. Silica particles were then dissolved away by HF acid to obtain CNT-based hollow capsules composed of SWNTs and DWNTs. We believe that these novel surface adsorption methods are useful for potential design of CNT-based advanced functional materials.  相似文献

Titania (TiO2) monoliths with well-defined bicontinuous macropores and gel skeletons were prepared through the alkoxy-derived sol–gel process accompanied by spinodal decomposition, and the structural evolution during evaporation drying and heat treatment was probed by a combination of ultra-small-angle X-ray scattering and small-angle X-ray scattering. X-ray scattering profiles of wet and dried gels revealed that microporous structures related to the existence of primary particles are present in the gel skeletons at the wet stage and are preserved during drying. Additionally, it is found that the primary particles swollen in the wet condition are dried to compact aggregates to produce the smooth surface of gel skeletons. Upon heating at 400 °C, the particle–particle correlation associated with regularity of mesostructures is enhanced. From nitrogen adsorption–desorption measurements, the average pore size is less than 1 nm in the dried gel and increases to 3.1 nm by the heat treatment. Homogeneous growth of primary particles due to interparticle-polycondensation reaction is responsible for the increased size and uniform distribution of mesopores in the heat-treated gel.  相似文献

We apply our criterion to several curves, for example, some cyclic subcovers of the Giulietti–Korchmáros curve or of the curves constructed by Skabelund. We report two cases of mucoid degeneration of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Mucoid degeneration of the ACL is a very rare cause of knee pain. There have been only seven reported cases of mucoid degeneration of the ACL in the English literature. We reviewed previous reports and summarized clinical features and symptoms, including those found in our two cases. MRI is the most useful tool for differentiating mucoid degeneration of the ACL from an intraligamentous ganglion or other lesions in the knee joint. If this disease is considered preoperatively, it can be diagnosed easily based on characteristic findings.  相似文献

[2,2']Bi[naphtho[2,3-b]furanyl] was synthesized, characterized, and examined as an organic semiconductor for thin-film OFETs, bilayer OPVs, and organic light-emitting transistors (OLETs). In the devices, the material acted as a p-type semiconductor, showing moderately high mobility in OFETs, good photo conversion efficiency in OPVs, and blue-green emission in OLETs.  相似文献

The amphiphilic gradient copolymers of 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl methacrylate (TFEMA) and acrylic acid (AA) have been synthesized by using amphiphilic RAFT agent via emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization with a starved feed method of adding TFEMA. Different cosolvents are added into polymerization system to inhibit AA's homopolymerization of in aqueous phase. RAFT polymerization kinetics under different reaction conditions are discussed in detail. (1)H NMR results indicate that the obtained copolymer has a chain structure with AA segments gradually changing to TFEMA segments. The copolymer latexes exhibit good pH stability (pH value from 5 to 14) and Ca(2+) stability. The self-assembly behavior of gradient copolymers in selective solvents are observed and studied by transmission electron microscopy. All the copolymers can form spherical micelles, but the homogeneity and size of micelles are different.  相似文献

A novel chiral coordination polymer, [Cu(C(6)H(5)CH(OH)COO)(μ-C(6)H(5)CH(OH)COO)] (1-L and 1-D), was synthesized through a reaction of copper acetate with L-mandelic acid at room temperature. Although previously reported copper mandelate prepared by hydrothermal reaction was a centrosymmetric coordination polymer because of the racemization of mandelic acid, the current coordination polymer shows noncentrosymmetry and a completely different structure from that previously reported. The X-ray crystallography for 1-L revealed that the copper center of the compound showed a highly distorted octahedral structure bridged by a chiral mandelate ligand in the unusual coordination mode to construct a one-dimensional (1D) zigzag chain structure. These 1D chains interdigitated each other to give a layered structure as a result of the formation of multiple aromatic interactions and hydrogen bonds between hydroxyl and carboxylate moieties at mandelate ligands. The coordination polymer 1-L belongs to the noncentrosymmetric space group of C2 to show piezoelectric properties and second harmonic generation (SHG) activity.  相似文献
