Delays between actions and their outcomes severely hinder reinforcement learning systems, but little is known of the neural
mechanism by which animals overcome this problem and bridge such delays. The nucleus accumbens core (AcbC), part of the ventral
striatum, is required for normal preference for a large, delayed reward over a small, immediate reward (self-controlled choice)
in rats, but the reason for this is unclear. We investigated the role of the AcbC in learning a free-operant instrumental
response using delayed reinforcement, performance of a previously-learned response for delayed reinforcement, and assessment
of the relative magnitudes of two different rewards. 相似文献
There are many reports1 of the pyrolysis of fluorinated organic compounds, including the defluorination of cyclic fluorocarbons over iron to give aromatic compounds. Extending this technique we have investigated the flow pyrolysis of some readily accessible unsaturated fluorocarbons, such as I, II, and III, and found these to be synthetically useful routes to fluorinated dienes, cyclobutenes, and furans. Pyrolyses were carried out using a nitrogen flow over platinum, iron or caesium fluoride heated at 430–700°. The various products can all be rationalized in terms of intermediate allylic radicals, and the solid substrate influences which allylic radicals are formed. We are also investigating the chemistry of those now accessible compounds, such as IV, V, and VI, and some of the preliminary results are described. For example the fluoride ion induced dimerisation of IV gave two major products VII and VIII via a particular interesting mechanism.相似文献
Holes burnt into the absorption spectrum of terrylene in hexadecane have quite unusual features: spectral diffusion behavior under thermal cycles shows a narrowing regime at very low temperatures (2-5 K) followed by a plateau region (up to about 13 K) and a broadening regime (T>13 K). Thermal line broadening (quasihomogeneous linewidth) shows a nonmonotonous behavior as a function of temperature: at around 4 K there is a maximum followed by a flat minimum and the onset of strong broadening at higher temperatures. Finally, the central hole shows one-sided narrowly spaced side features. This behavior is interpreted within the frame of a two-site model. One of the two sites can be well described by a standard two level system; the other, however, shows characteristic features of a multilevel system. The two sites are characterized by strongly different optical linewidths, phototransformation yields, and thermal stabilities. 相似文献
