In this paper,we consider the global existence of solutions for the Cauchy problem of the generalized sixth order bad Boussinesq equation.Moreover,we show that the supremum norm of the solution decays algebraically to zero as(1+t)(1/7)when t approaches to infnity,provided the initial data are sufciently small and regular. 相似文献

The ring‐opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) of fatty acid functionalized norbornenes was explored in the presence of dichloro[1,3‐bis(2,4,6‐trimethylphenyl)‐2‐imidazolidinylidene](benzylidene)bis(3‐bromopyridine)ruthenium(II) ( C3 ) at room temperature. The investigated monomers were derived from fatty acids with different chain lengths (C6, C8, C10, C12, C14, C16, and C18) and can therefore contribute to the development of more sustainable, bio‐based polymeric materials. The polymerizations initiated by C3 proceeded in a living fashion with good initiation efficiency, and thus the synthesis of well‐defined polymers with narrow polydispersities was accomplished. All prepared polymers were fully characterized (GPC, DSC, TGA, NMR) and the results of these investigations are discussed within this contribution. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The hydrothermal reaction of a mixture of V2O5, VCl3, 2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid and diluted H2SO4 for 68 h at 180°C gives a blue colored solution which yields prismatic blue crystals of IV 2 IV O2(SO4)2(H2O)6] (1) in 32% yield (based on V). Complex 1 was investigated by means of elemental analysis (C, H and S), TGA, FT-IR, manganometric titration, Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction Methods and also comparative antimicrobial activities. Crystal data for the compound: monoclinic space group P21/c and unit cell parameters are a = 7.3850(12) Å, b = 7.3990(7) Å, c = 12.229(2) Å, β = 108.976(12)° and Z = 2. Although structure of 1 as a natural mineral has been previously determined, this work covers new preparation method and full characterization of 1 along with comparison of antibacterial activity between 1 and the commercial vanadium(IV) oxide sulfate hydrate compounds, VOSO4 · xH2O (Riedel-de Haën and Alfa Aesar brand names). 1 was evaluated for the antimicrobial activity against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and mould compared with the commercial VOSO4 · xH2O compounds. 1 showed weak activity against bacteria Bacillus cereus, Nocardia asteroides and yeast Candida albicans. A good antimicrobial activity was recorded against Cirtobacter freundii (15 mm). There are only a few reproducible well-defined vanadium(IV) starting materials to use for exploring the synthesis of new materials. VCl4, VO(acac)2, VOSO4 · xH2O and [V(IV)OSO4(H2O)4] · SO4 · [H2N(C2H4)2NH2] are common starting materials for such applications. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a mathematical programming technique which has a wide application area. There are many applications of DEA to measure firms’ performance. Balance sheet data is frequently used in order to measure performance of firms through DEA. So it is the characteristic of balance sheets that assets and liabilities amount to the same value. When the data for inputs and outputs are selected from both assets and liabilities sections of the balance sheet, it is important that more attention be paid to the analysis since values assigned to inputs and outputs could be included in assets and liabilities at the same time. A simple and sensitive method for the simultaneous analysis of naphthalene, fluorene, and anthracene in whole blood was developed using headspace-solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and GC/MS. A 0.5 g whole blood sample, 5 microL naphthalene, fluorene, and anthracene (50 microg/mL) as spiked standards, and 0.5 mL sodium hydroxide were placed into a 12 mL vial and sealed rapidly. The vial was immediately heated to 70 degrees C in an aluminium block heater, the needle of the SPME device was inserted through the septum of the vial, and the extraction fiber was exposed to the headspace for 15 min. Afterwards, the compounds extracted by the fiber were desorbed simultaneously by exposing the fiber in the gas chromatograph injection port. No interferences were found, and the time for analysis was about 30 min for one sample. This method was applied to a suicide case in which the victim ingested naphthalene, fluorene, and anthracene. 相似文献

Microarrays allowing simultaneous analysis of thousands of parameters can significantly accelerate screening of large libraries of pharmaceutical compounds and biomolecular interactions. For large-scale studies on diverse biomedical samples, reliable, label-free, and high-content microarrays are needed. In this work, using large-area plasmonic nanohole arrays, we demonstrate for the first time a large-scale label-free microarray technology with over one million sensors on a single microscope slide. A dual-color filter imaging method is introduced to dramatically increase the accuracy, reliability, and signal-to-noise ratio of the sensors in a highly multiplexed manner. We used our technology to quantitatively measure protein-protein interactions. Our platform, which is highly compatible with the current microarray scanning systems can enable a powerful screening technology and facilitate diagnosis and treatment of diseases. 相似文献

Phase diagrams of multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWNT)/nematic liquid crystal (E7) and buckminsterfullerene (C60-I h)/nematic liquid crystal (E7) binary systems have been investigated by means of polarizing optical microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. It was found that the isotropic-nematic phase transition temperature (T NI) of the liquid crystal component was enhanced by the incorporation of MWNT within a small composition gap. A chimney-type phase diagram can be identified in the MWNT/E7 mixture over a narrow range of ∼0.1-0.2% MWNT concentration. Upon substituting the nanotubes with isotropic fillers such as fullerene, the (C60-I h)/E7 blend showed no discernible change of T NI in the same concentration range of the chimney of the MWNT/E7 mixture, suggesting a significant contribution of anisotropy (or the aspect ratio) of the nanotubes to the entropy of the system containing liquid crystal molecules. This enhanced T NI phenomenon may be attributed to anisotropic alignment of liquid crystal molecules along the carbon nanotube bundles. 相似文献
