Recent scanning tunneling microscopy experiments of Bi(2)Sr(2)CaCu(2)O(8+delta) have shown evidence of real-space organization of electronic states at low energies in the pseudogap state [Science 303, 1995 (2004)]]. We argue based on symmetry considerations as well as model calculations that the experimentally observed modulations are due to a density wave of d-wave Cooper pairs without global phase coherence. We show that scanning tunneling microscopy measurements can distinguish a pair density wave from more typical electronic modulations such as those due to charge density wave ordering or scattering from an on site periodic potential. 相似文献

Zero-valent iron-modified Degussa P25-TiO2/ZnO nanocomposites (denoted as P25/Fe0/ZnO) were designed and prepared via Fe0 impregnation of P25-TiO2/ZnO and then were employed in the visible-light photocatalytic degradation of p-nitrophenol (PNP) in the presence of [K2S2O8]. Central composite design was applied for response surface modeling (RSM) to understand the influence of selected factors (pH, [Fe0] wt% and [K2S2O8] concentration) on the degradation of PNP and to determine the interaction between the factors. The maximal PNP degradation efficiency (86.9%) was obtained with P25/1.5 wt% Fe0/ZnO at 3 mg/L of [K2S2O8] concentration and pH 7.5. In addition, the RSM showed a satisfactory correlation between the experimental and predicted values of PNP degradation. The P25/Fe0/ZnO photocatalyst performance was also examined degrading methyl orange and phenol and high degradation efficiency, 82 and 99%, was achieved, respectively. The structure, morphology, light absorption and photocatalytic properties of as-prepared P25/Fe0/ZnO were studied using TEM, BET, XRD, FTIR and DRS. 相似文献

Interaction between B-Doped C60 Fullerene and Glycine Amino Acid from First-Principles Simulation

The possibility of formation of complexes between glycine and boron doped C60 (C59B) fullerene is investigated and compared with that of C60 fullerene by using the density functional theory calculations. It has been found that the binding of glycine to C59B generated the most stable complexes via its carbonyl oxygen active site, with a binding energy of-37.89 kcal/mol, while the glycine molecule prefers to bind to the pure C60 cage via its amino nitrogen active site, consistent with the recent experimental and theoretical studies. We have also tested the stability of the most stable Gly-C59B complex with ab initio molecular dynamics simulation, carried out at room temperature. These indicate that the B-doped C60 fullerenes seem to be more suitable materials for bindings to proteins than pure C60 fullerenes. 相似文献

In this paper we consider the problem of scheduling n jobs on a single batch processing machine in which jobs are ordered by two customers. Jobs belonging to different customers are processed based on their individual criteria. The considered criteria are minimizing makespan and maximum lateness. A batching machine is able to process up to b jobs simultaneously. The processing time of each batch is equal to the longest processing time of jobs in the batch. This kind of batch processing is called parallel batch processing. Optimal methods for three cases are developed: unbounded batch capacity, b > n, with compatible job groups and bounded batch capacity, b n, with compatible and non compatible job groups. Each job group represents a different class of customers and the concept of being compatible means that jobs which are ordered by different customers are allowed to be processed in a same batch. We propose an optimal method for the problem with incompatible groups and unbounded batches. About the case when groups are incompatible and bounded batches, our proposed method is considered as optimal when the group with maximum lateness objective has identical processing times. We regard this method, however, as a heuristic when these processing times are different. When groups are compatible and batches are bounded we consider another problem by assuming the same processing times for the group which has the maximum lateness objective and propose an optimal method for this problem. 相似文献

In this paper, the scattering of incident plane waves from rough surfaces has been modeled in a fractional space. It is shown how wave scattering from a rough surface could correspond to a simple reflection problem in a fractional space. In an integer dimensional space, fluctuations of the surface result in wave scattering, while in the fractional space, these fluctuations are compensated by the geometry of space. In the fractional space, reflection is equivalent to scattering from the integer dimensional space. Comparing scattered wave functions from different self-affine rough surfaces in the framework of the Kirchhoff theory with the results from the fractional space, we see good agreement between them. 相似文献
