Xylanase production of Trichoderma reesei Rut C-30 was examined at different initial pH values (4.8, 5.9, and 7.0) on rice straw in shake flasks, and in a fermentor,
for the best pH condition. Enzyme performance was tested on ammonia-treated dwarf elephant grass. The maximum xylanase activities,
92 and 122 IU/mL, were obtained at pH 4.8 in the shake flasks and fermentor, respectively, in which good growth of the fungus
was observed during the first 24 h and consumption of proteins dissolved from the rice straw caused the pH to rise later to
values between 6.4 and 6.7 (optimal for xylanase production). The xylanases from T. reesei were as effective as Multifect XL, a commercial enzyme preparation, in hydrolyzing ammonia-treated elephant grass. 相似文献

The solid phase extraction as a solvent-free method for the analysis of oil and grease in waters was studied. The use of
a PTFE surface as a solid phase allows the retention of the volatile fraction of oil and grease, and further analysis of carbon–hydrogen
bonds using infrared spectroscopy can be done on the surface.
Various oils and grease samples were tested: n-hexadecane, n-tetradecane, n-nonadecane, n-docosane, isooctane, diesel oil
and gasoline. Temperatures from 25° to 90 °C and a range of heating times were checked for extraction.
Precision tests showed relative standard deviation values of around 10% in several samples of the same concentration. Calibration
lines of n-hexadecane showed high correlation coefficients from 0.9 to 30 mg/l. Recoveries for the various oils using different
calibration lines showed values from 90 to 110%.
The method described here is fast and clean, and allows reproducible measurements of oil and grease in water that do not require
the use of a solvent.

The Arrhenius equation corresponding to the process P---Ag+P*---Ag*→---P---Ag*+P*---Ag has been determined for [(η6-p-cymene)Ru(μ-pz)3Ag(PPh3)] (1) by complete line-shape analysis of the 31P NMR spectra between −40°C and +30°C. It has the form K = 1011.8± e(−46±5 kJ mol−1/RT). The preexponential term, log A = 11.8 corresponds to a small activation entropy, whereas the activation energy, 46 kJ mol−1 is comparable to those determined for other phosphorus—metal compounds. 相似文献

A series of interpenetrated polymer networks (IPNs) in which the first component is a porous poly(ethyl methacrylate) (PEMA) hydrophobic network and the second one is a poly(2-hydroxyethyl acrylate) (PHEA) hydrophilic network were synthesized. Equilibrium sorption isotherms can be reduced to a single master curve for all the IPNs when the water absorbed is expressed per gram of PHEA in them. The equilibrium water sorption in immersion is always much smaller than that of pure PHEA. This feature is due to the confining effect of the stiff PEMA matrix. The plasticizing effect of the absorbed water on the PHEA phase was characterized using thermally stimulated depolarization currents, dynamic-mechanical analysis and dielectric relaxation spectroscopy. The results show that the shift of the main relaxation peak towards lower temperatures is unaffected by the presence of the PEMA matrix, and only depends on the water content per gram of PHEA in the IPN. 相似文献

In this work, various turbulent solutions of the two‐dimensional (2D) and three‐dimensional compressible Reynolds averaged Navier–Stokes equations are analyzed using global stability theory. This analysis is motivated by the onset of flow unsteadiness (Hopf bifurcation) for transonic buffet conditions where moderately high Reynolds numbers and compressible effects must be considered. The buffet phenomenon involves a complex interaction between the separated flow and a shock wave. The efficient numerical methodology presented in this paper predicts the critical parameters, namely, the angle of attack and Mach and Reynolds numbers beyond which the onset of flow unsteadiness appears. The geometry, a NACA0012 profile, and flow parameters selected reproduce situations of practical interest for aeronautical applications. The numerical computation is performed in three steps. First, a steady baseflow solution is obtained; second, the Jacobian matrix for the RANS equations based on a finite volume discretization is computed; and finally, the generalized eigenvalue problem is derived when the baseflow is linearly perturbed. The methodology is validated predicting the 2D Hopf bifurcation for a circular cylinder under laminar flow condition. This benchmark shows good agreement with the previous published computations and experimental data. In the transonic buffet case, the baseflow is computed using the Spalart–Allmaras turbulence model and represents a mean flow where the high frequency content and length scales of the order of the shear‐layer thickness have been averaged. The lower frequency content is assumed to be decoupled from the high frequencies, thus allowing a stability analysis to be performed on the low frequency range. In addition, results of the corresponding adjoint problem and the sensitivity map are provided for the first time for the buffet problem. Finally, an extruded three‐dimensional geometry of the NACA0012 airfoil, where all velocity components are considered, was also analyzed as a Triglobal stability case, and the outcoming results were compared to the previous 2D limited model, confirming that the buffet onset is well detected.
