In this study various Au/SnOx-SiO2 catalysts were prepared and tested in CO oxidation. It was found that the addition of tin oxide onto silica increased significantly the activity of Au/SiO2 catalysts due to the alteration of the nanoenvironment of gold, which was evidenced by XPS and FTIR measurements.  相似文献

We give sufficient conditions for the convergence of the double Fourier integral of a complex-valued function fL 1(?2) with bounded support at a given point (x 0,y 0) ∈ ?2. It turns out that this convergence essentially depends on the convergence of the single Fourier integrals of the marginal functions f(x,y 0), x ∈ ?, and f(x 0,y), y ∈ ?, at the points x:= x 0 and y:= y 0, respectively. Our theorem applies to functions in the multiplicative Zygmund classes of functions in two variables.  相似文献

Good scaling is an essential requirement for the good behavior of many numerical algorithms. In particular, for problems involving multivariate polynomials, a change of scale in one or more variable may have drastic effects on the robustness of subsequent calculations. This paper surveys scaling algorithms for systems of polynomials from the literature, and discusses some new ones, applicable to arbitrary polynomial constraint satisfaction problems.  相似文献

So-called short-time Fourier transform multipliers (also called Anti-Wick operators in the literature) arise by applying a pointwise multiplication operator to the STFT before applying the inverse STFT. Boundedness results are investigated for such operators on modulation spaces and on L p -spaces. Because the proofs apply naturally to Wiener amalgam spaces the results are formulated in this context. Furthermore, a version of the Hardy-Littlewood inequality for the STFT is derived. This paper was written while the author was researching at University of Vienna (NuHAG) supported by Lise Meitner fellowship No M733-N04. In order to reduce the risk of decompression sickness associated with extra-vehicular activity (EVA), NASA is designing the next generation of exploration vehicles and habitats with a different cabin environment than used previously. The proposed environment uses a total cabin pressure of 52.7–58.6 kPa with an oxygen concentration of 30–34% by volume and was chosen with material flammability in mind. Because materials may burn differently under these conditions and there is little information on how this new environment affects the flammability of the materials onboard, it is important to conduct material flammability experiments at the intended exploration atmosphere. One method to evaluate material flammability is by its ease of ignition. To this end, piloted ignition delay tests were conducted in the Forced Ignition and Spread Test (FIST) apparatus subject to this new environment. In these tests, polymethylmethacylate (PMMA) was exposed to a range of oxidizer flow velocities and externally applied heat fluxes. Tests were conducted for a baseline case of normal pressure and oxygen concentration, low pressure (58.6 kPa) with normal oxygen (21%), and low pressure with 32% oxygen concentration conditions to determine the individual effect of pressure and the combined effect of pressure and oxygen concentration on the ignition delay. It was found that reducing the pressure while keeping the oxygen concentration at 21% reduced the ignition time by 17% on average. Increasing the oxygen concentration at low pressures reduced the ignition time by an additional 10%. It was also noted that the critical heat flux for ignition decreases at exploration atmospheres. These results show that tests conducted in standard atmospheric conditions will underpredict the ignition of materials intended for use on spacecraft and that, at these conditions, materials are more susceptible to ignition than at current spacecraft atmospheres.  相似文献

The analysis of in-plane rigid-body rotations requires phase-shifting methods to determine the direction of rotation in conventional electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI). The phase-shifting procedure makes the real-time measurements impossible. A quasi-real-time method is published recently, where the usual symmetric illumination is combined with a wavelength change before the second exposure. The present paper proposes a device sparing an alternative to this. The symmetric illumination is retained but the wavelength change is replaced by simple illumination direction changes.  相似文献

Transformative applications in regenerative medicine await increased control of processes implementing repair and remodeling of complex living structures. Recent work reveals ion channel drugs as a powerful toolkit for modulating endogenous bioelectric circuits that control growth and form in vivo and in vitro. It is therefore especially important to develop assays in model systems that will enable the testing of these “morphoceuticals”—compounds with predictable effects on anatomical structure. The regenerative planaria are an ideal model system for this purpose. Several studies have shown a role for bioelectric signaling in planarian regeneration, but these have focused on Dugesia japonica and Schmidtea mediterranea. It is not known how the alterations of ion channel activity would affect regeneration in other species of planaria—an important aspect of building robust computational models of bioelectric circuits. Here, the effect of ivermectin (IVM), a chloride channel opener drug commonly used to combat heartworm is tested, on regeneration in a new species of planaria: Dugesia dorotocephala. Exposure to IVM during regeneration results in patterning abnormalities, such as bifurcated tails with partial heads, as well as delayed regeneration. These data extend our understanding of the effects of human‐approved ion channel drugs on regenerative processes.  相似文献
