Treatment of CrCl(2)(THF)(2) with NaOSi(t)Bu(3) afforded the tetrameric "box" [Cr(mu-Cl)(mu-OSi(t)Bu(3))](4) (1, X-ray). THF cleaved 1 to provide trans-(silox)ClCr(THF)(2) (2), whereas degradation of 1 with 4-picoline caused disproportionation and the generation of trans-Cl(2)Cr(4-pic)(2) and trans-(silox)(2)Cr(4-pic)(x) (n = 2, 3; 3, 3-4-pic). Chromous centers in 1 were antiferromagnetically coupled, and density functional calculations on the high-spin (multiplicity = 17) model [Cr(mu-Cl)(mu-OH)](4) (1') revealed that its singly occupied 3d orbitals spanned an energy range of approximately 2 eV. The addition of 8 equiv of Na(silox) to 1 yielded [((t)Bu(3)SiO)Cr(mu-OSi(t)Bu(3))(2)]Na.C(6)H(6) (4, Y shaped, angle OCrO(Na) = 91.28(7) degrees), and treatment of 4 with dibenzo-18-crown-6 produced [(silox)(3)Cr][Na(dibenzo-18-crown-6)] (5, angle OCrO = approximately 120 degrees, (120 + alpha) degrees, (120 - alpha) degrees). Calculations of [((t)Bu(3)SiO)Cr(mu-OSi(t)Bu(3))(2)]Na (4') and Cr(silox)(3)(-) (5') provided reasonable matches with the experimental geometries (X-ray). The trigonal chromic derivative (silox)(3)Cr (6) was synthesized from CrCl(3)(THF)(3) for structural and calculational comparisons to the chromous derivatives.  相似文献

Manufacturers support the concept of traceability. However, only a small number of the medically relevant measurands can be traced to the highest metrological order. In many cases, the measured substances are heterogeneous mixtures where traceability can be established only to either an international conventional reference measurement procedure or to a manufacturers own in-house reference system. The traceability concept needs to be seen in the context that the results of medical laboratories are not an aim per se, but are meant to provide useful medical information to clinicians, and that pre- and post-analytical steps may also contribute significantly to errors. Osmium tetroxide complexes with nitrogen ligands (L) are probes of DNA structure and electroactive labels of DNA. Here adducts of single-stranded (ss) DNA with osmium tetroxide 2,2'-bipyridine (DNA-Os,bipy) were studied by cyclic voltammetry for the first time. It was found that at neutral pH DNA-Os,bipy produces three redox couples in the potential range between 0 and -1 V (peaks I-III) and a cathodic peak at about -1.3 V (peak IV). The latter peak decreased with increasing scan rate, and peaks arising from the forward and reverse scans exhibited the same direction, suggesting catalytic nature of the electrode process. We concluded that this peak corresponds to the known differential pulse voltammetric (polarographic) peak of DNA-Os,L adducts for which catalytic hydrogen evolution is responsible. In contrast, currents of cathodic peaks II and III increased almost linearly with increasing scan rate, suggesting involvement of adsorption in the electrode processes. Adsorptive stripping square-wave voltammetry was used to analyze the DNA-Os,bipy at low concentrations. It was shown that at neutral pH, peak III can offer sensitivity in the ppb range, which is only little lower than that reached by catalytic peak IV. The latter peak is, however, superior in sensitivity at acid pH values.  相似文献

Treatment of the five-coordinate ferrous dialkyl complex, (iPrPDI)Fe(CH2SiMe3)2 (iPrPDI = ((2,6-CHMe2)2C6H3N=CMe)2C5H3N), with [PhMe2NH][BPh4] in the presence of diethyl ether or tetrahydrofuran furnished the corresponding alkyl cations, where the donor ligand is coordinated in the basal plane of a distorted square pyramidal iron(II) alkyl cation. Performing the same reaction with the neutral Lewis acid, B(C6F5)3, induced methide abstraction from a silicon atom followed by rearrangement to afford the base free ferrous alkyl cation, [(iPrPDI)Fe(CH2SiMe2CH2SiMe3)][MeB(C6F5)3]. This complex is active for the polymerization of ethylene and yields polymers that are of higher molecular weight and narrower polydispersity than traditional methylalumoxane-activated catalysts.  相似文献

Aluminosilicates can present different structures such as crystalline true zeolite molecular sieves or amorphous silica–aluminas. With a large surface area available, both can be involved as catalysts, adsorbents or catalyst supports, and the determination of their surface acidic properties is an important parameter in the study of such materials.

The number, strength and strength distribution of the acidic sites were determined using microcalorimetry linked to a volumetric line. Ammonia was used as a basic probe molecule. The adsorption temperatures ranged from 353 K up to 473 K. The samples consisted of two amorphous silica–aluminas (Si/Al ≈ 6.5) and three microporous zeolites H-β, H-ZSM-5 and H-MCM-22 with similar Si/Al ratios (Si/Al ≈ 13).

The differential heats of ammonia adsorption versus coverage and the corresponding isotherms are given. The H-ZSM-5, H-MCM-22, H-β samples display a plateau of constant adsorption heats near 150 kJ mol−1, while the silica–alumina samples present continuously decreasing heats from 150 kJ mol−1 at zero coverage to 40 kJ mol−1 at high coverage, due to their surface heterogeneity. For amorphous silica–aluminas, the number of acid sites is dependent of the aluminum distribution at the surface.

The differences observed in the adsorption behavior of ammonia over the three zeolites arise from differences in their morphology, i.e. the total free volumes, pore geometries and electric field gradients at the adsorption sites. The adsorption isosteres have also been calculated from the adsorption isotherms, and the isosteric heats of adsorption have been compared with the heats measured by calorimetry.  相似文献

The structural and magnetic properties of the Pr1?xMn1+xO3 perovskites were studied. The increase of x (i.e., PrMn < 1) leads to the decrease of the orthorhombic deformation and of the Néel temperature and, simultaneously, to an increase of the ferromagnetic contribution. The latter effect is explained from the suggested distribution of the cations (Pr3+1?xMn2+x)A(Mn3+1?xMn4+x)O2?3 by the double exchange of Mn3+Mn4+ pairs at the B—sublattice.  相似文献

Mixed acidic constants (pK a ) of quinolinium oximes [1-(2-phenyl-2-hydroxyiminoethyl)-1-quinolinium chloride (F-1), 1-(2-phenyl-2-hydroxyiminoethyl)-1-isoquinolinium chloride (F-2), 1-(2-phenyl-2-hydroxyiminoethyl)-1-(4-methyl)-quinolinium chloride (F-3), and 1-(2-phenyl-2-hydroxyiminoethyl)-1-(6-methyl)-quinolinium chloride (F-4)] have been determined via their UV absorption spectra recorded in the series ofBritton-Robinson's buffer solutions in thepH region 8.74–11.28 (t=25±0.5°C, =0.2). The obtainedpK a values are in good agreement with those achieved by applying graphical methods. The followingpK a values have been obtained: 9.93 forF-1, 9.90 forF-2, and 10.02 forF-3 andF-4.On the basis of potentiometric titrations thermodynamic acidic constants (pK a ) of compoundsF-1,F-2,F-3, andF-4 have been determined and they were found to be 9.82, 9.71, 9.91, and 9.86, respectively. The values obtained by transferringpK a intopK a are in good agreement with the values obtained spectrophotometrically.

Zusammenfassung Die Mischaciditätskonstanten (pK a ) der Chinolin-Oxime 1-(2-Phenyl-2-hydroxyiminoethyl)-1-chinolinium chlorid (F-1), 1-(2-Phenyl-2-hydroxyiminoethyl)-1-isochinolium chlorid (F-2), 1-(2-Phenyl-2-hydroxyiminoethyl)-1-(4-methyl)-chinolinium chlorid (F-3) und 1-(2-Phenyl-2-hydroxyiminoethyl)-1-(6-methyl)-chinolinium chlorid (F-4) wurden durch ihre UV-Absorptionspektren in einer Reihe vonBritton-Robinson-Pufferlösungen impH-Intervall 8.74–11.28 (t=25±0.5°C; =0.2) bestimmt. Die berechnetenpK a -Werte stimmen mit den über graphische Methoden erhaltenen Ergebnissen überein. DerpK a -Wert beträgt 9.93 für die VerbindungF-1 und 9.90 fürF-2, sowie 10.02 fürF-3 andF-4.Auf Grund der potentiometrischen Titration wurden auch die thermodynamischen Aciditätskonstanten (pK a ) berechnet: 9.82 fürF-1, 9.71 fürF-2, 9.91 fürF-3 und 9.86 fürF-4. Wenn man diese Konstanten in Mischaciditätskonstanten überträgt, erhält man Werte, die mit den durch spektrophotometrischen Bestimmungen erhaltenen Werten gut übereinstimmen.

The rate of reductive elimination for a family of zirconocene isobutyl hydride complexes, Cp(CpR(n)())Zr(CH(2)CHMe(2))H (Cp = eta(5)-C(5)Me(5), CpR(n)() = substituted cyclopentadienyl), has been measured as a function of cyclopentadienyl substituent. In general, the rate of reductive elimination increases modestly with the incorporation of sterically demanding substituents such as [CMe(3)] or [SiMe(3)]. A series of isotopic labeling experiments was used to elucidate the mechanism and rate-determining step for the reductive elimination process. From these studies, a new zirconocene isobutyl hydride complex, Cp' '(2)Zr(CH(2)CHMe(2))(H) (Cp' ' = eta(5)-C(5)H(3)-1,3-(SiMe(3))(2)), was designed and synthesized such that facile reductive elimination of isobutane and activation of dinitrogen was observed. The resulting dinitrogen complex, [Cp' '(2)Zr](2)(mu(2), eta(2),eta(2)-N(2)), has been characterized by X-ray diffraction and displays a bond length of 1.47 A for the N(2) ligand, the longest observed in any metallocene dinitrogen complex. Solution magnetic susceptibility demonstrates that [Cp' '(2)Zr](2)(mu(2), eta(2), eta(2)-N(2)) is a ground-state triplet, consistent with two Zr(III), d(1) centers. Mechanistic studies reveal that the dinitrogen complex is derived from the reaction of N(2) with the resulting cyclometalated zirconocene hydride rather than directly from reductive elimination of alkane.  相似文献

Starting from the readily available, optically active (4R)-4-hydroxy-2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexanone ( 1 ), a new technical synthesis of (3R,3′R)-zeaxanthin is described. According to a 2(C9 + C6) + C10 = C40 construction scheme, the ketone 1 was first transformed with (E)-3-methylpent-2-en-4-yn-1-ol ( 5 ) into a C15-intermediate which, by a three-step sequence, could be converted into the known olefinic C15-Wittig salt 4 . Optimized conditions for the final Wittig reaction of 4 with the C10-dialdehyde 3 are discussed. Based on 1 , the overall yield of the entire technical process is ca. 40%.  相似文献

A reinvestigation of sponge natural products from additional Indo-Pacific collections of Xestospongiacf. carbonaria and X. cf. exigua has provided further insights on the structures, biological activities, and biosynthetic origin of bisannulated acridines. These alkaloids include one known pyridoacridine, neoamphimedine (2), and three new analogues, 5-methoxyneoamphimedine (4), neoamphimedine Y (5), and neoamphimedine Z (6). A completely new acridine, alpkinidine (7), was also isolated. A disk diffusion soft agar assay, using a panel of five cancer cell lines (solid tumors and leukemias) and two normal cells, was used to evaluate the differential cytotoxicity (solid tumor selectivity) of the sponge semipure extracts and selected compounds including amphimedine (1), 2, 4, and 7. While all four compounds were solid tumor selective, 1 and 2 were the most potent and 4 was the most selective. The rationale used to characterize the new structures is outlined along with the related biosynthetic pathways envisioned to generate 2 and 7.  相似文献
