We consider two basic potential theoretic problems in Riemannian manifolds: Hodge decompositions and Maxwell's equations. Here we are concerned with smoothness and integrability assumptions. In the context of Lp forms in Lipschitz domains, we show that both are well posed provided that 2−<p<2+, for some >0, depending on the domain. Our approach is constructive (in the sense that we produce integral representation formulas for the solutions) and emphasizes the intimate connections between the two problems at hand. Applications to other related PDEs, such as boundary problems for the Hodge Dirac operator, are also presented.  相似文献

In this paper, the authors present their results regarding the cellular division rate and the percentage of chromosomal aberrations in the root meristematic cells of agricultural plants when cultivated in the presence of different concentrations of aqueous ferrofluid, ranging between 10 and 250 μL/L. The agricultural species (Zea mays) with a major role in the life of people was chosen for the experimental project. The water-based ferrofluid was prepared following the chemical co-precipitation method, using tetramethylammonium hydroxide as magnetite core stabilizer. Microscopic investigations (cytogenetic tests) resulted in the evaluation of the mitotic and chromosomal aberration index. They appeared to increase following ferrofluid addition.  相似文献

[structure: see text] Isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) is used to study the thermodynamic consequences of systematically modifying the hydrophobic character of a single residue in a series of protein-binding ligands. By substituting standard and nonproteinogenic aliphatic amino acids for the C-terminal valine of the hexapeptide KKETEV, binding to the third PDZ domain (PDZ3) of the PSD-95 protein is characterized by distinct changes in the Gibbs free energy (DeltaG), enthalpy (DeltaH), and entropy (TDeltaS) parameters. One notable observation is that peptide binding affinity can be improved with a nonstandard residue.  相似文献

Thermal behavior of four food dyes, i.e. tartrazine, crysoine, azorubine and amarant was studied under non-isothermal conditions, in dynamic air atmosphere and at heating rates of 5, 10, 15 and 20°C min–1. The TG data were correlated to the FTIR spectra of each sample, before and after the thermal decomposition. Kinetic study by processing the TG data was performed. The main conclusion of this study is that the non-parametric kinetic method allows a separation of the steps of a complex process and that the values of the activation energy obtained by this method agree satisfactory with that of Flynn–Wall–Ozawa estimation.  相似文献

Amiodarone (AD) therapy for cardiac arrhythmia frequently leads to cutaneous phototoxicity. Amiodarone and its metabolite, desethylamiodarone (DEA), photosensitized hemolysis of red blood cells (RBC) and were phototoxic to lymphocytes. Hemolysis photosensitized by 3.3 μ M AD was partially oxygen dependent and was partially quenched 5 m M sodium azide, 50 m M mannitol, superoxide dismutase (251 U/me e ) and catalase (1500 U/m e ), but was unaffected when H2O was replaced by D2O. These results suggest that membrane damage may be important in the in vivo phototoxicity to AD, that both oxygen dependent and oxygen independent mechanisms may operate, and that active oxygen species such as O2 and hydrogen peroxide may be involved. Photohemolysis was more rapid in the presence of DEA than of AD. However, this may be due to the greater fragility of the cell membrane in the presence of DEA. The greater phototoxicity of DEA than AD towards lymphocytes was not due to greater membrane fragility.  相似文献

During the last few decades, pyridazine derivatives have emerged as privileged structures in heterocyclic chemistry, both because of their excellent chemistry and because of their potential applications in medicinal chemistry and optoelectronics. This review is focused on the recent advances in [3 + n] cycloaddition reactions in the pyridazine series as well as their medicinal chemistry and optoelectronic applications over the last ten years. The stereochemistry and regiochemistry of the cycloaddition reactions are discussed. Applications in optoelectronics (in particular, as fluorescent materials and sensors) and medicinal chemistry (in particular, antimicrobials and anticancer) are also reviewed.  相似文献

The FeTe parent compound for iron‐superconductor chalcogenides was studied applying Mössbauer spectroscopy accompanied by ab initio calculations of electric field gradients at the iron nuclei. Room‐temperature (RT) Mössbauer spectra of single crystals have shown asymmetric doublet structure commonly ascribed to contributions of over‐stoichiometric iron or impurity phases. Low‐temperature Mössbauer spectra of the magnetically ordered compound could be well described by four hyperfine‐split sextets, although no other foreign phases different from Fe1.05Te were detected by XRD and microanalysis within the sensitivity limits of the equipment. Density functional ab initio calculations have shown that over‐stoichiometric iron atoms significantly affect electron charge and spin density up to the second coordination sphere of the iron sub‐lattice, and, as a result, four non‐equivalent groups of iron atoms are formed by their local environment. The resulting four‐group model consistently describes the angular dependence of the single crystals Mössbauer spectra as well as intensity asymmetry of the doublet absorption lines in powdered samples at RT. We suppose that our approach could be extended to the entire class of FeSeTex compounds, which contain excess iron atoms.

In the current study, multiwavelength detection combined with color scales HPTLC fingerprinting procedure and chemometric approach were applied for direct clustering of a set of medicinal plants with different geographical growing areas. The fingerprints profiles of the hydroalcoholic extracts obtained after single and double development and detection under 254 nm and 365 nm, before and after selective spraying with specific derivatization reagents were evaluated by chemometric approaches. Principal component analysis (PCA) with factor analysis (FA) methods were used to reveal the contribution of red (R), green (G), blue (B) and, respectively, gray (K) color scale fingerprints to HPTLC classification of the analyzed samples. Hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) was used to classify the medicinal plants based on measure of similarity of color scale fingerprint patterns. The 1-Pearson distance measurement with Ward’s amalgamation procedure proved to be the most convenient approach for the correct clustering of samples. Data from color scale fingerprints obtained for double development procedure and multiple visualization modes combined with appropriate chemometric methods proved to detect the similar medicinal plant extracts even though they are from different geographical regions, have different storage conditions and no specific markers are individually extracted. This approach could be proposed as a promising tool for authentication and identification studies of plant materials based on HPTLC fingerprinting analysis.  相似文献
