In this paper, we used the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock method to compute with high precision the influence of the hyperfine interaction on the [Ar] P0 level lifetime in Zn-like ions for stable and some quasi-stable isotopes of nonzero nuclear spin between Z=30 and Z=92. The influence of this interaction on the [Ar] P P0 separation energy is also calculated for the same ions.  相似文献

A conformational and vibrational analysis of cisplatin [cis-diamminedichloro-platinum(II)] (cDDP) is reported. Several theory methods (from Hartree-Fock to Moller-Plesset and density functional theory) combined with different all-electron basis sets are evaluated, in view of determining the best suited strategy for accurately representing this molecule. This choice is based on the best compromise between accuracy and computational requirements. Different scaling models of the cDDP vibrational modes were tested for obtaining the best scaling factors to be used in this type of inorganic systems. The structural parameters and vibrational results predicted by the calculations are compared with the corresponding experimental data, namely, x-ray structure, and Raman and inelastic neutron scattering spectra. Finally, a complete assignment of the cDDP vibrational spectra is presented.  相似文献

The coexistence of two lamellar liquid-crystalline phases in equilibrium for binary surfactant-water systems is a rare and still puzzling phenomenon. In the few binary systems where it has been demonstrated experimentally, the surfactant is invariably ionic and the miscibility gap is thought to stem from a subtle balance between attractive and repulsive interbilayer forces. In this paper, we report for the first time a miscibility gap for a catanionic lamellar phase formed by the surfactant hexadecyltrimethylammonium octylsulfonate (TASo) in water. Synchrotron small-angle X-ray scattering, polarizing light microscopy, and 2H NMR unequivocally show the coexistence of a dilute (or swollen) lamellar phase, Lalpha', and a concentrated (or collapsed) lamellar phase, Lalpha' '. Furthermore, linear swelling is observed for each of the phases, with the immiscibility region occurring for 15-54 wt % surfactant. In the dilute region, the swollen lamellar phase is in equilibrium with an isotropic micellar region. Vesicles can be observed in this two-phase region as a dispersion of Lalpha' in the solution phase. A theoretical cell model based on combined DLVO and short-range repulsive potentials is presented in order to provide physical insight into the miscibility gap. The surfactant TASo is net uncharged, but it undergoes partial dissociation owing to the higher aqueous solubility of the short octylsulfonate chain. Thus, a residual positive charge in the bilayer is originated and, consequently, an electrostatic repulsive force, whose magnitude is dependent on surfactant concentration. For physically reasonable values of the solubility of the octyl chain, assumed to be constant with surfactant volume fraction, a fairly good agreement is observed between the experimental miscibility gap and the theoretical one.  相似文献

Understanding factors responsible for the fluorescence behavior of conjugated polyelectrolytes and modulation of their behavior are important for their application as functional materials. The interaction between the anionic poly{1,4-phenylene-[9,9-bis(4-phenoxy-butylsulfonate)]fluorene-2,7-diyl}copolymer (PBS-PFP) and cationic gemini surfactants alpha,omega-(CmH2m+1N+(CH3)2)2(CH2)s(Br-)2 (m-s-m; m=12, s=2, 3, 5, 6, 10, and 12) has been studied experimentally in aqueous solution. These surfactants are chosen to see whether molecular recognition and self-assembly occurs between the oppositely charged conjugated polyelectrolyte and gemini surfactant when the spacer length on the surfactant is similar to the intercharge separation on the polymer. Without surfactants, PBS-PFP exists as aggregates. These are broken up upon addition of gemini surfactants. However, as anticipated, the behavior strongly depends upon spacer length (s). Fluorescence measurements show three surfactant concentration regimes: At low concentrations (<2x10(-6) M) quenching occurs and is most marked with the small spacer 12-2-12; at intermediate concentrations (approximately 2x10(-6)-10(-3) M), fluorescence intensity is constant, with a 12-carbon spacer 12-12-12 showing the strongest fluorescence; above the critical micelle concentration (CMC; approximately 10(-3) M) increases in emission intensity are seen in all cases and are largest with the intermediate spacers 12-5-12 and 12-6-12, where the spacer length most closely matches the distance between monomer units on the polymer. With longer spacer length surfactants, surface tension measurements for concentrations below the CMC reveal the presence of polymer-surfactant aggregates at the air-water interface, possibly reflecting increased hydrophobicity. Above the CMC, small-angle neutron scattering experiments for the 12-6-12 system show the presence of spherical aggregates, both for the pure surfactant and for polyelectrolyte/gemini mixtures. Molecular dynamics simulations help rationalize these observations and show that there is a very fine balance between electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions. With the shortest spacer 12-2-12, Coulombic interactions are dominant, while for the longest spacer 12-12-12 the driving force involves hydrophobic interactions. Qualitatively, with the intermediate 12-5-12 and 12-6-12 systems, the optimum balance is observed between Coulombic and hydrophobic interactions, explaining their strong fluorescence enhancement.  相似文献

The Piperaceae species are known worldwide for its medicinal properties and its chemical compounds. In Brazil, many species of this family are distributed mainly in Amazon Region and in the Atlantic Forest. The genus Ottonia is known as source of amides, flavonoids, arilpropanoids and terpenes with record biological activities. Six aristolactams, including, aristolactam BII, piperolactam C, goniothalactam, stigmalactam, aristolactam AII and aristolactam BIII were isolated from roots of this species. GC-MS, 1H NMR and NOESY techniques were used to characterize these compounds. This is the first report about the occurrence of aristolactams in the Ottonia anisum Sprengel.  相似文献

H+, K(+)-ATPase enzyme is a therapeutic target for the treatment of gastric disturbances. Several medicinal plants and isolated compounds inhibit the acid gastric secretion through interaction with the proton pump. In order to add new properties to some natural constituents, five compounds, a benzylated derivative of vincoside, a diterpene (abietic acid) and three alkaloids (cephaeline, vinblastine and vindoline), were tested for their activities on gastric H+, K(+)-ATPase isolated from rabbit stomach. All the compounds inhibited H+, K(+)-ATPase activity with varied potency. The IC50 value for benzylvincoside was 121 (50-293) microM, and for abietic acid 177 (148-211) microM. The alkaloids cephaeline, vinblastine and vindoline inhibited the H+, K(+)-ATPase activity with IC50 values of 194, 761 and 846 microM, respectively. The results suggest that benzylvincoside, abietic acid and cephaeline can be important sources for the development of anti-secretor agents.  相似文献

Metropolis Monte Carlo simulations of hydrogen-bonded liquids (water and methanol) were performed with the well tested effective pair potentials TIP5P and OPLS. The Coulomb contribution for the interaction potential was damped by a factor η varied from 1 to 0.49 for water and 1 to 0.15 for methanol. As a result, the networks formed by the hydrogen-bonded molecules presented interesting properties as a function of η, including small-world patterns and percolation transitions. These complex networks were analyzed by local (clustering coefficients, average degrees), semi-global (path lengths) and global (spectral densities) properties, and islands statistics. From these properties, small-world behavior was found for η in the range 0.60-0.75 for both liquids, interestingly independent of the molecular structure of the liquid. Phase transition behavior was observed for the average degrees and the clustering coefficient curves with critical values at 0.55 for water and 0.34 for methanol. Macroscopic properties such as mass density and vaporization enthalpy were also parametrically dependent on η and they presented phase transition behavior that coincides with the critical values obtained from the topological analysis. This is probably the first time that such phase transitions are observed for these quantities and shows a direct relation between macroscopic properties and topological features of hydrogen bond networks.  相似文献

Statistical mechanics based topological analysis and island (or cluster) statistics were used to study the hydrogen bond (H-bond) networks in the water-methanol mixtures with the following methanol mole fractions (x(m)): 0.00, 0.10, 0.20, 0.25, 0.28, 0.30, 0.32, 0.36, 0.38, 0.42, 0.50, 0.60, 0.70, 0.80, 0.90, 1.00. NPT-Monte Carlo simulations were performed at room conditions using the TIP5P model potential for water and united-atoms (OPLS) for methanol to generate the H-bond networks. We have found evidence for non-ideal behavior of mixtures with x(m) ≈ 0.3. Several structural and topological properties present strong dependence with the mixture composition. Island statistics indicate a change from the percolated to non-percolate regime at x(m) ≈ 0.5. Statistical analysis of the islands' nature (homo-clusters: same type of molecules × hetero-clusters: two types of molecules) yields a preferential formation of homo-clusters that quantifies the local composition and preferential solvation ("microimmiscibility"). The topology of the hydrogen bond networks was characterized by local (clustering coefficients, average degrees), semi-global (path lengths) and global (spectral densities) properties. Small-world patterns (highly clustered and small path lengths) appear for x(m) in the range 0.40-0.70, and the momenta in the spectral densities correlate quite well with previous analysis based on rings, chains and branched chains topologies. It also seems that small quantities of methanol in water cause disruption of the continuous fully connected H-bond networks formed by water molecules.  相似文献

By far, the most common use of time-dependent density functional theory is in the linear-reponse regime, where it provides information about electronic excitations. Ideally, the linear-response equations should be solved by a method that avoids the use of the unoccupied Kohn-Sham states--such as the Sternheimer method--as this reduces the complexity and increases the precision of the calculation. However, the Sternheimer equation becomes ill-conditioned near and indefinite above the first resonant frequency, seriously hindering the use of efficient iterative solution methods. To overcome this serious limitation, and to improve the general convergence properties of the iterative techniques, we propose a simple preconditioning strategy. In our method, the Sternheimer equation is solved directly as a linear equation using an iterative Krylov subspace method, i.e., no self-consistent cycle is required. Furthermore, the preconditioner uses the information of just a few unoccupied states and requires simple and minimal modifications to existing implementations. In this way, convergence can be reached faster and in a considerably wider frequency range than the traditional approach.  相似文献

The hydroalumination of silylacetylenes with DIBAL-H followed by the addition of n-butyllithium generated in situ the (Z)-β-vinylorganosilane alanates intermediates, which were trapped with butyltellurenyl bromide (C4H9TeBr), furnishing exclusively the (E)-1-butyltelluro-1-tri(organyl)silyl-2-organyl-1-alkenes in 45-70% yields. These telluro(silyl)ketene acetals were utilized as substrates in Sonogashira cross-coupling Pd-catalyzed reactions, furnishing the (Z)-1,4-diorganyl-2-tri(organyl)silyl-1-buten-3-ynes with total control of regio- and stereochemistry in 62-80% yield.  相似文献
