Orientation in the a minoarylation of acridine

A number of 9-aminoarylacridines were obtained by the condensation of acridine hydrochloride with various aromatic amines in the presence of sulfur. Influence of π stacking on the magnetic properties of the copper(II) complex with 6-phenyl-3-(2-pyridyl)-5-trifluoroacetylmethylidene-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazine

The new N,N,O-ligand 6-phenyl-3-(2-pyridyl)-5-(trifluoroacetylmethylidene)-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazine (L) was synthesized, and its complex with Cu^II was prepared. The structure of the complex was established by X-ray diffraction. Magnetic measurements and ESR studies were carried out. Ab initio calculations of the electronic structure, exchange interactions, and the effective magnetic moment were performed. The intrastack polarization effect between the π states of 1,2,4-triazine and the d states of copper was revealed and numerically validated. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Azinyl derivatives of ferrocene and cymantrene. Synthesis and properties

In the present review comparative data concerning various synthetic approaches and methodologies used in the series of ferrocene and cymantrene derivatives to create various materials, namely, catalytic systems, sensory and other molecular devices, polymers as well as physiologically active substances, for the period from 2000 till 2016 are given. Aspects of practical application of the above compounds are also considered.     

Direct functionalization of the C—H bond in (hetero)arenes: aerobic photoinduced oxidative coupling of azines with aromatic nucleophiles (SNH-reactions) in the presence of a CdS/TiO2 photocatalyst

A highly selective coupling of azines with aromatic nucleophiles (S_N^H-reactions) in the presence of a heterogeneous oxidation system O₂/CdS/TiO₂ upon exposure to daylight was accomplished.

To improve cobalt-containing catalytic systems for synthesis of hydrocarbons from carbon monoxide and hydrogen (Fischer-Tropsch synthesis), supports based on ultradispersed alloys of aluminum with rare and rare-earth metals (G, Ce, Sm) were obtained and studied. The catalytic activity parameters of the new catalysts were determined.
