[reaction: see text] A dendrimer wherein the branching points are mechanical in nature has been synthesized. It contains two identical covalently linked bis-dendrons and a core unit fused to two rings that encircle the two bis-dendrons. A "threading-followed-by-stoppering" approach is used in the template-directed synthesis of a precursor bis[2]rotaxane, which undergoes stopper exchange four times to yield the dendrimer in which the two bis-dendrons act as stoppers within the two [2]rotaxane subunits.  相似文献

The reduction of WCl4(PMe3)3 by sodium amalgam in presence of phenylacetylene gives W(PMe3)(PhCCH)3 (A). Reduction in presence of methylisocyanide gives W(PMe3)2(MeNC)4 (B), while in presence of excess PMe3 in tetrahydrofuran under hydrogen, WH2Cl2(PMe3)4 (C) is formed. The reaction of WCl2(PMe3)4 with methanol in tetrahydrofuran gives mixtures of WH2Cl2(PMe3)4 and WOC12(PMe3)3 (D).The structures of A, B, and D have been determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Recently we reported that vibrotactile flutter stimulation of a skin locus at different amplitudes evokes an optical response confined to the same local region of the primary somatosensory cortex (SI), where its overall magnitude varies proportionally to the flutter amplitude. Electronic Moirè patterns found on lead (Pb) quantum islands can serve as a template to grow self-organized cluster (nanopucks) arrays of various materials. These patterns can be divided into fcc- and hcp-stacked areas, which exhibit different binding strengths to the deposited adatoms. For Ag adatoms, the binding energy can differ substantially and the confined nucleation thus occurs in the fcc sites. Both the size distribution and spatial arrangement of the Ag nanopucks are analyzed and found to be commensurate with the characteristics of the template island, which exhibits a bilayer oscillatory behavior.  相似文献

We show that the band structure of metallic carbon nanotubes can be dramatically altered by the local electrostatic field. This is realized by coupling chemically functionalized nanotubes to form T junctions. The bar of the T is the conducting channel and the leg of the T is used for local gating. Transport measurements reveal that an energy gap develops upon application of a local electric field in both devices with or without linker molecules at the junction. We propose that the mechanism of the band gap modulation in the T junctions without linker molecules is the field effect, with the linker molecules introducing additional electromechanical and chemical effects.  相似文献

Event-by-event fluctuations of the average transverse momentum of produced particles near midrapidity have been measured by the PHENIX Collaboration in square root of (sNN)=200 GeV Au+Au, and p+p collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The fluctuations are observed to be in excess of the expectation for statistically independent particle emission for all centralities. The excess fluctuations exhibit a dependence on both the centrality of the collision and on the pT range over which the average is calculated. Both the centrality and pT dependence can be well reproduced by a simulation of random particle production with the addition of contributions from hard-scattering processes.  相似文献

The anisotropy parameter (v(2)), the second harmonic of the azimuthal particle distribution, has been measured with the PHENIX detector in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s(NN)]=200 GeV for identified and inclusive charged particle production at central rapidities (|eta|<0.35) with respect to the reaction plane defined at high rapidities (|eta|=3-4 ). We observe that the v(2) of mesons falls below that of (anti)baryons for p(T)>2 GeV/c, in marked contrast to the predictions of a hydrodynamical model.
