The present work describes the synthesis of the beta-isomer of 1-alpha-D-(5-deoxy-5-iodoarabinofuranosyl)-2-nitroimidazole (IAZA). Radioiodinated IAZA ((123)I-IAZA) has been extensively studied as a radiopharmaceutical for the diagnosis of regional and/or focal tissue hypoxia in a variety of clinical pathologies. The beta-anomer of IAZA, 1-beta-D-(5-deoxy-5-iodoarabinofuranosyl)-2-nitroimidazole (beta-IAZA, 1), was synthesized via an unconventional route starting from 1-beta-D-(ribofuranosyl)-2-nitroimidazole (AZR), with a change of configuration at the C-2'-position to afford 1-beta-D-(arabinofuranosyl)-2-nitroimidazole (beta-AZA, 7). Nucleophilic iodination of the 5'-O-toluenesulfonyl-2',3'-di-O-acetyl precursor of beta-AZA, 9, followed by deprotection, afforded 1 in satisfactory yield. beta-IAZA (1) was also synthesized from 7 using molecular iodine and triphenylphosphine.  相似文献

A novel pressure-driven sample injection method was developed as an alternative to electrokinetic injection, and electrophoretic separation was carried out on a microfabricated device employing this method. This method enables a defined volume of liquid dispensing, followed by instantaneous injection driven by pneumatic pressure, greatly simplifying the injection procedure. A particular microstructure, called a "metering chamber", has been designed for the quantitative dispensing of an ultra-low volume of sample liquid; a "hydrophobic passive valve" equipped with an air vent channel is employed for injecting a dispensed sample into the separation channel. The reproducibility of dispensing was 3.3% (n = 15), expressed by the variation of dispensed volumes. The electrophoretic separation of DNA fragments was performed using this injection method, varying the injection volumes from 0.45 to 4.0 nL, and the separation efficiencies were compared. This precise injection method, easily variable in injection volumes, is highly suitable for quantitative as well as qualitative electrophoretic analyses.  相似文献

Differential scanning calorimetry on the two-component system of dioctadecyldimethylammonium chloride (DOAC)–water was carried out in the temperature region from 80 °C down to -100 °C. Oxygen-sensitive and near-infrared (NIR) luminescent YbIII coordination polymers incorporating ligands based on pyrene derivatives were synthesized: YbIII–TBAPy and YbIII–TIAPy (TBAPy: 1,3,6,8-tetrakis(p-benzoate)pyrene; TIAPy: 1,3,6,8-tetrakis(3,5-isophthalic acid)pyrene). The coordination structures of these materials have been characterized by means of electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction analysis, and thermogravimetric analysis. Moreover, the porous structure of YbIII–TIAPy has been evaluated by measuring its N2 adsorption isotherm. The NIR luminescence properties of YbIII–TBAPy and YbIII–TIAPy have been examined by acquiring emission spectra and determining emission lifetimes under air or argon and in vacuo. YbIII–TIAPy exhibited high thermal stability (with a decomposition temperature of 400 °C), intense luminescence (with an emission quantum yield under argon of 6.6 %), and effective oxygen-sensing characteristics. These results suggest that NIR luminescent YbIII coordination polymers prepared using pyrene derivatives could have applications in novel thermo-stable oxygen sensors.  相似文献

The first dimesitylboryl substitution of aryl halides with a silylborane bearing a dimesitylboryl group in the presence of alkali‐metal alkoxides is described. The reactions of aryl bromides or iodides with Ph2MeSi?BMes2 and Na(OtBu) afforded the desired aryl dimesitylboranes in good to high yields and with high borylation/silylation ratios. Selective reaction of the sterically less‐hindered C?Br bond of dibromoarenes provided monoborylated products. This reaction was used to rapidly construct a D‐π‐A aryl dimesityl borane with a non‐symmetrical biphenyl spacer.  相似文献

The structure of 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (cyclam) complexes with nickel(II) and copper(II) ions in aqueous solution has been determined by the x-ray diffraction method at 25°C. The [Ni-(cyclam)]2+ complex has a square-planar structure with four nitrogen atoms of the cyclam, and the Ni-N bond length has been determined to be 198 pm. Upon the addition of ammonia, the color of the nickel(II)-cyclam solution turns to deep purple and the [Ni(NH3)2(cyclam)]2+ complex is formed. The complex has a regular octahedral structure with an additional two NH3 molecules along the axis vertical of the cyclam plane, and the Ni-N (NH3 and cyclam) bond lengths are 209 pm. The copper(II)-cyclam complex in the aqueous solution is a distorted octahedron with two water molecules along the elongated axis. The axial Cu—O and equatorial Cu—N bond lengths are 277 and 210 pm, respectively.  相似文献

We present herein the synthesis and properties of the largest hitherto unknown graphyne fragment, namely trigonally expanded tetrakis(dehydrobenzo[12]annulene)s (tetrakis‐DBAs). Intramolecular three‐fold alkyne metathesis reactions of hexakis(arylethynyl)DBAs 9 a and 9 b using Fürstner’s Mo catalyst furnished tetrakis‐DBAs 8 a and 8 b substituted with tert‐butyl or branched alkyl ester groups in moderate and fair yields, respectively, demonstrating that the metathesis reaction of this protocol is a powerful tool for the construction of graphyne fragment backbones. For comparison, hexakis(arylethynyl)DBAs 9 c – g have also been prepared. The one‐photon absorption spectrum of tetrakis‐DBA 8 a bearing tert‐butyl groups revealed a remarkable bathochromic shift of the absorption cut‐off (λcutoff) compared with those of previously reported graphyne fragments due to extended π‐conjugation. Moreover, in the two‐photon absorption spectrum, 8 a showed a large cross‐section for a pure hydrocarbon because of the planar para‐phenylene‐ethynylene conjugation pathways. Hexakis(arylethynyl)‐DBAs 9 c – e and 9 g and tetrakis‐DBA 8 b bearing electron‐withdrawing groups aggregated in chloroform solutions. Comparison between the free energies of 9 e and 8 b bearing the same substituents revealed the more favorable association of the latter due to stronger π–π interactions between the extended π‐cores. Polarized optical microscopy observations, DSC, and XRD measurements showed that 8 b and 9 e with branched alkyl ester groups displayed columnar rectangular mesophases. By the time‐resolved microwave conductivity method, the columnar rectangular phase of 8 b was shown to exhibit a moderate charge‐carrier mobility of 0.12 cm2 V?1 s?1. These results indicate that large graphyne fragments can serve as good organic semiconductors.  相似文献

Methylene sp3 carbon–hydrogen bond activation of N-picolinoylcycloalkylamines provides a useful method for synthesizing cis-3-arylated cycloalkylamine derivatives. Pd(II) species catalyzed the γ-arylation of N-picolinoylcycloalkylamines with aryl iodides in the presence of silver carbonate to afford cis-3-arylated N-picolinoylalkylamines in up to 87% yield. Hydrolysis of the amide linkage to give the corresponding cis-3-arylated cycloalkylamines was also demonstrated.  相似文献

A novel carboxymethylcellulose (CMC)–hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC)-based hydrogel with sensitivity to environmental changes, pH and salts was synthesized by using fumaric acid and malic acid at various concentrations. Water uptake capacity of hydrogels was investigated in distilled water, various salt and pH solutions. From pH-dependent studies, it was found that greater water uptake values were observed at greater pH values (7.4), and reversible pH responsiveness of CMC–HEC based hydrogels was obtained. Decreasing the water uptake capacity with increasing of the charge of the metal cation (Al3+ < Ca2+ < Na+) demonstrated metal ion responsiveness of CMC–HEC-based hydrogels. From tensile tests of the hydrogels, a greater crosslinker concentration led to greater tensile strength values. Thermogravimetric analysis and scanning electron microscopy images were used to determine the thermal stability and to observe morphological properties of the samples, respectively.  相似文献
