The free-radical initiated copolymerization of 2-(4-chloro-1-naphtyloxy)-2-oxoethyl methacrylate (ClNOEMA) with 2-(diethylamino) ethyl methacrylate (DEAEMA) was carried out in 1,4-dioxane solution at 70 ± 1°C using 2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as an initiator with different monomer-to-monomer ratios (ranging from 0.15 to 0.85) in the feed. The copolymer composition obtained by elemental analysis led to the determination of reactivity ratios employing Fineman-Ross (F-R) and Kelen-Tüdös (KT) linearization methods. These parameters were also estimated using a non-linear computational fitting procedure, known as reactivity ratios error in variable model (RREVM). The prepared homo and copolymers were tested for their antimicrobial activity against bacteria and yeast. These copolymers have been converted into novel salts by reaction with the iodemethane (CH3I). The copolymers and the corresponding salts have been characterized fully by a range of spectroscopic analysis techniques. The electrical conductivity dependence of temperature of the polymers were measured and the polymers exhibit the semi-conducting behavior, confirming that the electrical conductivity increases with increasing temperature. The poly(CINOEMA-co-DEAEMA) polymer doped by CH3I for 15 min shows the highest conductivity. The optical band gap, activation energy and room temperature conductivity values of these polymers were obtained. These electronic parameters suggest that the poly(CINOEMA-co-DEAEMA)s doped by CH3I for 15 min is an organic semiconductor with the thermally activated conduction mechanism. 相似文献

Electrically conductive composite systems based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) filled with metal powders of Al and Cu have been studied. The composite preparation conditions allow the formation of a random distribution of metallic particles in the polymer matrix. Dependence of the dielectric and conductivity properties of the PVC and PMMA/fillers was studied over a broad range of frequency and volume fraction of metal fillers. The experimental results could be explained by means of the conductivity of fillers and the interface polarization between polymers and fillers. Percolation was also seen in this study when the volume fraction of conducting fillers was close to critical value, in which the composites undergo an insulator‐conductor transition. Conductive polythiophene (PTh)/poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) composite fibers were prepared by polymerization of thiophene in the presence of PET fibers in acetonitrile medium using FeCl3. The effects of polymerization conditions such as oxidant/monomer mol ratio and polymerization temperature and time on PTh content and surface electrical resistivity of PTh/PET composite fiber were investigated in detail. It was observed that the usage of preswelled PET fibers in dichloromethane increased the PTh content and decreased surface resistivity of composite fiber. Composite fiber having the highest PTh content (5.7%) and the lowest surface resistivity (80 kΩ) was obtained at 20°C with 1.25 M FeCl3 and 0.42 M thiophene concentrations. The washing effects of laundering detergent and dry cleaning liquid on surface resistivity of composite fibers were investigated. The electromagnetic shielding effectiveness (EMSE) and relative shielding efficiency by absorption and reflection of composite fibers were measured in the radio and microwave frequency range. The results show that the EMSE values decreased with increasing frequency from radio waves to microwaves with an attenuation of 21 dB to 4 dB. 相似文献

Sonochemical degradation of urea was employed to synthesize alpha-nickel hydroxide from different nickel salts. Utilization of ultrasound yielded products with properties significantly different than the products obtained by thermal degradation of urea. The effect of intercalating chloride, nitrate, acetate, and sulfate anions on morphology and electrochemical performance was studied. The sulfate-intercalated sample had the smallest interlayer spacing when obtained by the sonochemical method, contradicting all the previous thermal synthesis results. The specific capacitance trend also differed from the literature values, and the value for the sulfate-intercalated sample was larger than that of acetate- and nitrate-intercalated samples. Ultrasonic synthesis increased the specific capacitance of the sulfate-intercalated sample significantly. This sample was also the most reversible and had the highest charge efficiency. 相似文献

Reboxetine (RBX) electrochemical redox behavior at hanging mercury drop (HMDE) and glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) was studied in various pH Britton-Robinson universal buffers using cyclic voltammetry and square-wave voltammetry. RBX was reduced at the HMDE and oxidized at the GCE with reversible adsorption controlled and irreversible diffusion controlled processes respectively. The anodic peak is due to the amine and the cathodic peak may correspond to oxygen protonation. An oxidation reaction mechanism is proposed. The linear relation between peak currents and RBX concentration allowed simple, sensitive, precise and inexpensive voltammetric procedures to be developed. The limit of detection was 0.04 µM RBX. The procedures were successfully applied to human urine and RBX tablet assay. Therapeutic RBX concentrations in human serum were not detected due to strong drug-protein binding. Using bovine serum albumin, the methods were used to investigate the effect of serum protein binding on RBX determination. 相似文献

Pregnancy alters pharmacokinetic profile of many drugs, because of altering body volume and metabolism rate. Therefore, dosage rates and concentrations of drugs must be controlled during pregnancy. Here, we identified the pharmacokinetic profile of pre-operatively given cefepime in caesarean section and gynecological operations using a simple, rapid, cost-effective and valid liquid chromatographic method. The chromatographic separation was performed using 40 mM, pH 3.2 phosphate buffer containing 6 % methanol as mobile phase at 0.30 mL min?1 flow rate. Gradient elution with methanol was applied to get shorter analysis time without any interference from plasma endogens. During analyses, temperature of column, autosampler and detector were set as 30, 10 and 40 °C, respectively. The detection wavelength was 260 nm and ceftizoxime was used as internal standard. At the optimum conditions, the cefepime analysis from plasma samples was completed in 7 min. Cefepime was extracted from plasma samples using perchloric acid with a very high recovery rate (99.3 %). The method was fully validated according to the Food and Drug Administration guidelines for bioanalytical method validation, and found to be selective, linear, repeatable, reproducible and robust. After validation studies, the method was applied to five caesarean-sectioned and four non-pregnant sectioned women treated with pre-operative, prophylactic single intravenous dose of cefepime (1 g Maxipime®) in order to determine pharmacokinetic profile of cefepime. Peak serum concentrations of cefepime in caesarean-sectioned women at the arterial port after infusion was 70.11 ± 10.74 μg mL?1. The mean elimination half-life, volume of distribution and calculated area under the concentration–time curve (AUC)0–∞ were 1.10 ± 0.23 h, 14.22 ± 2.29 L and 101.55 ± 10.99 μg h mL?1 for caesarean-sectioned women; and 1.14 ± 0.21 h, 14.76 ± 2.92 L and 104.71 ± 36.34 μg h mL?1 for non-pregnant sectioned women, respectively. AbstractA series of imidazole derivatives were synthesized from two-component condensation reaction of phenylgloxal monohydrate with guanylhydrazone. They were characterized by spectroscopic and analytical techniques. The in vitro anticancer evaluation of these compounds was done on human breast cancer (MCF-7) and human liver cancer (HepG2) cell lines using the MTT assay method. Most of the newly synthesized compounds displayed cytotoxic activity against these cancerous cells. In fact, compounds 3a, 3e, and 3?h exhibited more cytotoxic activities than the positive control drugs, fluro-5, and irinocam, against the MCF-7 cell line. Almost all the compounds, except for three, 3b, 3d, and 3f, gave more cytotoxic results than cisplatin. A simple porogen containing only DMF and aqueous buffer was used for synthesis of monolithic stationary media for CEC). Butyl methacrylate (BMA)‐based capillary monoliths were obtained using proposed porogen together with acrylic/methacrylic cross‐linking agents with different alkyl chain lengths. For this purpose, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, butanediol dimethacrylate and hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) were used. The monoliths with better electrochromatographic separation performance were obtained when the acrylic cross‐linking agent with the longest alkyl chain length (i.e. HDDA) was used with the proposed porogen. The electrochromatographic separation of alkylbenzenes, phenols and benzoic acids were sucessfully performed in CEC particularly using poly(BMA‐co‐HDDA) monolithic stationary phase with the column efficiency up to 270 000 plates/m. 相似文献
