Inspired by copper‐based oxygen reduction biocatalysts, we have studied the electrocatalytic behavior of a Cu‐based MOF (Cu‐BTT) for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in alkaline medium. This catalyst reduces the oxygen at the onset (Eonset) and half‐wave potential (E1/2) of 0. 940 V and 0.778 V, respectively. The high halfway potential supports the good activity of Cu‐BTT MOF. The high ORR catalytic activity can be interpreted by the presence of nitrogen‐rich ligand (tetrazole) and the generation of nascent copper(I) during the reaction. In addition to the excellent activity, Cu‐BTT MOF showed exceptional stability too, which was confirmed through chronoamperometry study, where current was unchanged up to 12 h. Further, the 4‐electrons transfer of ORR kinetics was confirmed by hydrodynamic voltammetry. The oxygen active center namely copper(I) generation during ORR has been understood by the reduction peak in cyclic voltammetry as well in the XPS analysis.  相似文献

The present work aims to investigates the native fluorescence and time resolved fluorescence spectroscopic characterization of oral tissues under UV excitation. The fluorescence emission spectra of oral tissues at 280 nm excitation were obtained. From the spectra, it was observed that the alteration in the biochemical and morphological changes present in tissues. Subsequently, the Full width at Half Maximum (FWHM) of every individual spectra of 20 normal and 40 malignant subjects were calculated. The student’s t-test analysis reveals that the data were statistically significant (p?=?0.001). The fluorescence excitation spectra at 350 nm emission of malignant tissues confirms the alteration in protein fluorescence with respect to normal counterpart. To quantify the observed spectral differences, the two ratio variables R1?=?I275/I310 and R2?=?I310/I328 were introduced in the excitation spectra. Among them, the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) of R1 reveals better classification with 86.4 % specificity and 82.5 % sensitivity. The fluorescence decay kinetics of oral tissues was obtained at 350 nm emission and it was found that the decay kinetics was triple exponential. Then the ROC analysis of fractional amplitudes and component lifetime reveals that the average lifetime shows 77 % sensitivity and 70 % specificity with the cut off value 4.85 ns. Briefly, the average lifetime exhibits better statistical significance when compared to fractional amplitudes and component lifetimes.  相似文献

Oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) to ethylene and ethane is a futuristic process of great practical importance for the effective utilization of methane/natural gas. A brief summary of the work carried out at National Chemical Laboratory (Pune) for the development of catalyst and catalytic process for OCM, particularly addressing the major issues/limitations of the OCM process and efforts made to overcome the problems is presented. This review particularly covers the development of a number of highly active/selective and stable unsupported and supported (using commercial catalyst carriers) catalysts for the OCM process and also the process of improvements/modifications to overcome most of the limitations of OCM.  相似文献

The paper studies the materials from ZnO–TiO2–B2O3 ternary system, obtained by sol–gel method [1] and [2], starting from organic and inorganic precursors. The obtained samples are investigated by FTIR and Raman spectroscopy, which provide structural information, at molecular level. FTIR absorption maxima are identified and discussed according to literature data. Raman spectra are acquired by a Raman Jasco NRS-3100 spectrometer, at 532 nm wavelength and put in evidence characteristic vibration modes for all three oxide components. ESR spectra were plotted with the aid of a JES-FA 100-JEOL Japan spectrometer and titanium surrounding is investigated.  相似文献

A simple, selective and sensitive gradient reversed-phase liquid chromatography method has been developed for the separation and determination of 2,3-dichlorobenzoic acid, which is an intermediate of the lamotrizine drug substance, and its regio isomers. The separation was achieved on a reversed-phase United States Pharmacopeia L1 (C-18) column using 0.01 M ammonium acetate buffer at pH 2.5 and methanol (50:50 v/v) mixture as mobile phase A and a methanol and water mixture (80:20 v/v) as mobile phase B in a gradient elution at flow rate 1.2 mL/min with ultraviolet detection at 210 nm. The method is found to be selective, precise, linear, accurate and robust. It was used for quality assurance and monitoring the synthetic reactions involved in the process development of lamotrizine. The method is found to be simple, rapid, specific and reliable for the determination of unreacted levels of raw materials and isomers in reaction mixtures and finished product lamotrizine. The method was fully validated as per International Conference of Harmonization guidelines and results from validation confirm that the method is highly suitable for its intended purpose.  相似文献

Fly ash collected from an Indian thermal power plant was characterised by scanning electron microscope (SEM)-energy dispersive spectrometer, X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis. The effect of fly ash on the growth and morphology of a metal-tolerant tropical marine yeast, Yarrowia lipolytica NCIM 3589, was studied. The growth of the yeast was unaffected by the presence 0.1, 0.2 or 0.3?% fly ash although the surface-to-volume ratio decreased. The yeast formed biofilms on immobilized fly ash as evidenced by SEM observations. The organism produced citric acid and additional extracellular proteins in the presence of fly ash. Leaching of metals from fly ash by Y. lipolytica was compared with chemical leaching by citric acid. Yeast cells were most effective in leaching Cu (59.41?%) although other metals (Zn, Ni, Cu and Cr) were also extracted. Transmission electron microscope images showed the deposition of metals at the cell wall, cell membrane and in the cytoplasm. This paper thus reports a potential application of Y. lipolytica for removal of different metals from solid waste material (fly ash).  相似文献

A novel approach has been developed for the synthesis of β‐arylacyl/β‐heteroarylacyl‐β‐alkylidine malonates in moderate to good yields by the reaction of Stork aryl and heteroaryl enamine with β‐chloroalkylidene malonates. The reaction involves conjugate (Michael) addition of Stork enamine on β‐chloroalkylidene malonates and elimination of chloride ion. These Michael adducts were utilized as intermediates for the synthesis of highly substituted 1,4‐dialkyl‐2‐oxo‐6‐aryl/hetreoaryl‐1,2‐dihydro‐pyridine‐3‐carboxylic acid ethyl esters via 5 + 1 ring annulation protocol.  相似文献

Mesoporous silica, which shows well-defined pore systems, tunable pore diameters (2-30 nm), narrow pore size distributions and high surface areas (>600 m(2) g(-1)), is frequently modified using different methodologies (including in situ and post-synthetic strategies) to introduce various chemical functionalities useful in applications like catalysis, separation, drug delivery, and sensing. This contribution aims to provide a critical overview of the various strategies to incorporate chemical functionalities in mesoporous silica highlighting the advantages of the in situ methods based on the bottom-up construction of mesoporous silica containing various chemical functionalities in its structure.  相似文献

The (8'R) epimeric carbohydrate core 2 of amipurimycin was synthesized from D-glucose derived allylic alcohol 3 in 11 steps and 13% overall yield. The key steps involve an acid-catalyzed acetonide ring opening of 9 with concomitant formation of an unprecedented pyranose ring skeleton to give 2,7-dioxabicyclo[3.2.1]octane 10. The α-orientation of the furan ring in 10 readily allows the stereoselective β-glycosylation and opening of the furanose ring that on removal of protecting groups affords the pyranosyl adenine nucleoside 2. The antifungal and anticancer activities of 2 were studied.  相似文献

Highly π-extended butterfly-shaped triarylamine dyads with aryleneethynylene spacer were constructed using an efficient synthetic route. These aryleneethynylene-bridged dyads are highly fluorescent and exhibited high HOMO levels, and low bandgaps, which are suitable for high-performance p-type OFETs. The field-effect transistors were fabricated through a solution-processable method and exhibited promising p-type performance with field-effect mobility up to 4.3 cm2/Vs and high Ion/off of 108 under ambient conditions.  相似文献
