The differential quadrature method based on cosine expansion is applied to obtain numerical solutions of the RLW equation. The propagation of single solitary wave is studied to validate the efficiency of the algorithm. Then, test problems including interaction of two and three solitary waves, undulation, and evolution of solitary waves are implemented. Solutions are compared with earlier results. The nonlinear Korteweg–de Vries (KdVE) equation is solved numerically using both Lagrange polynomials based differential quadrature and cosine expansion‐based differential quadrature methods. The first test example is travelling single solitary wave solution of KdVE and the second test example is interaction of two solitary waves, whereas the other three examples are wave production from solitary waves. Maximum error norm and root mean square error norm are computed, and numerical comparison with some earlier works is done for the first two examples, the lowest four conserved quantities are computed for all test examples. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We prove that a generic canonically or bicanonically embedded smooth curve has semistable mth Hilbert points for all m≥2. We also prove that a generic bicanonically embedded smooth curve has stable mth Hilbert points for all m≥3. In the canonical case, this is accomplished by proving finite Hilbert semistability of special singular curves with $\mathbb{G}_{m}$ -action, namely the canonically embedded balanced ribbon and the canonically embedded balanced double A 2k+1-curve. In the bicanonical case, we prove finite Hilbert stability of special hyperelliptic curves, namely Wiman curves. Finally, we give examples of canonically embedded smooth curves whose mth Hilbert points are non-semistable for low values of m, but become semistable past a definite threshold.  相似文献

Sweat‐related physiology research has been well established over the years. However, it has only been around ten years that sweat‐based sensing devices started to be explored. With the recent advancements in wearable activity and physiology monitoring devices, sweat was investigated for its contents similar to blood and corresponding wearable devices were studied intensively. This article provides a thorough review on sweating mechanisms, sweat sensing devices, and electronic technologies for sweat sensor implementations. Potential future directions and recommendations based on current research trends were provided in each section. This review aims to offer a unique perspective from both physiology and engineering point‐of‐view to draw a complete landscape of the sweat sensing research.  相似文献

The bi-objective Pollution-Routing Problem is an extension of the Pollution-Routing Problem (PRP) which consists of routing a number of vehicles to serve a set of customers, and determining their speed on each route segment. The two objective functions pertaining to minimization of fuel consumption and driving time are conflicting and are thus considered separately. This paper presents an adaptive large neighborhood search algorithm (ALNS), combined with a speed optimization procedure, to solve the bi-objective PRP. Using the ALNS as the search engine, four a posteriori methods, namely the weighting method, the weighting method with normalization, the epsilon-constraint method and a new hybrid method (HM), are tested using a scalarization of the two objective functions. The HM combines adaptive weighting with the epsilon-constraint method. To evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithm, new sets of instances based on real geographic data are generated, and a library of bi-criteria PRP instances is compiled. Results of extensive computational experiments with the four methods are presented and compared with one another by means of the hypervolume and epsilon indicators. The results show that HM is highly effective in finding good-quality non-dominated solutions on PRP instances with 100 nodes.  相似文献

Trihexyl(tetradecyl)phosphonium hexafluorophosphate, a phosphonium salt ionic liquid (PSIL) is a particularly effective general reaction media for the Pd-catalyzed carbonylation reaction of iodoarenes and thiols to form thioesters. The intramolecular cyclocarbonylation reaction with palladium-complexed dendrimers on silica is a very effective method for the regioselective synthesis of methylene 8-, 9-, and 10-membered rings. The heterogeneous dendritic catalysts are easily recovered by simple filtration and reused for up to 10 cycles with only a slight loss of activity. Asymmetric hydrogenation of the resulting unsaturated heterocycles affords optically active tricyclic lactams in excellent yields and in high enantiomeric excess. This process can tolerate a wide array of functional groups, including halide, ether, nitrile, ketone, and ester. Moreover, the variation of heteroatom on the rings does not have any influence on the efficiency and enantioselectivity of the reaction.  相似文献

Using the effective potential method, we computed one-loop corrections to the mass matrix of neutral Higgs bosons of the Non-Holomorphic Supersymmetric Standard Model (NHSSM) with explicit CP violation, where the radiative corrections due to the quarks and squarks of the third generation were taken into account. We observed that the non-holomorphic trilinear couplings can compete with the holomorphic ones in CP violating issues for the mass and mixing of the neutral Higgs bosons.  相似文献
