A cost-effective task-specific ionic liquid, 2-hydroxyethylammonium formate, efficiently promotes the condensation of nitroalkanes with various aldehydes to produce β-nitrostyrenes in high to excellent yields at room temperature. This reaction does not involve any hazardous organic solvent and toxic catalyst. The ionic liquid is recovered and recycled for subsequent reactions. There has been substantial recent interest in studying monolayer-protected gold clusters (MPCs) owing to their diverse applications. The present work is an electrochemical study of novel gold nanoparticles covered with a monolayer of mercapto-dodecanol ended chloro-dicyano-quinone (HS-C12O-CDQ), which was adsorbed on the electrode (CDQ-MPCs film). Our findings reveal a redox behavior for CDQ-MPCs film similar to the solution electrochemistry of dichloro-dicyano-quinone. Furthermore, a diffusion-like mechanism was found for electron transfer, which may have occurred due to proton diffusion towards or outwards the electrode through the film casted. Chronoamperometry confirmed diffusion behavior of the ET process. Finally, EIS was used to find the rate constant of ET process for the redox reaction that occurred and the contribution of MPCs in total interfacial capacitance.  相似文献

A protocol has been developed for the diastereoselective synthesis of dispiro[tetrahydroquinoline‐bis(2,2‐dimethyl[1,3] dioxane‐4,6‐dione)] derivatives via a one‐pot domino multicomponent reaction of arylamines, aromatic aldehydes, and Meldrum's acid for the first time. The products, with remarkable diastereoselectivity, were successfully synthesized in acetic acid media in ambient temperature along with the suggested mechanism through combination of domino Knoevenagel, Michael, and Diels–Alder reactions. The products have been characterized by IR, mass, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analyses. The stereoselectivity of compounds was established with crystallography and NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献
